I spend nine plus hours a day on my feet as a hairdresser. These boots may be comfortable for walking long periods of time, but I don’t think they would be comfortable for standing long periods of time. Fortunately, thanks to Zappos stellar customer service, I can send them back!

Naots are too narrow for me but have been desperately wanting a pair. This one was better in footbed but the ankle was super tight. Maybe if had worn very thin sock. But unless you have skinny ankles may be a problem.

I had a pair of Naot Tellin boots for three years and wore them every day all winter. They wore beautifully, and I decided to get another pair. Alas, Naot has lowered the quality of its product, like so many companies do...The foot bed has less cushioning and is less substantial. Not great for my difficult feet.

I want a pair of Naot so bad but they are all too narrow. This one was closest to fitting but the ankle was too narrow and hard to get on my foot because of narrow opening. The footbed once on was very comfy and fitting but the narrow ankle was not working for me. I don't feel I have wide feet or huge ankles. Usually order medium width in all shoes and am fine. I am going to try another style in the Shell series and see if can get a good fit.

I purchased these boots at another Web site, but thought I would post my review here because I prefer Zappos for their great customer servic. I did find these boots comfortable for my narrow feet and I could add my orthotic with room to wiggle my toes, but the boot is not comfortable enough to wear for hours--a bit stiff. But the bigger problem is that I felt the boot was unstable. It is slippery on the bottom, and as another review said, has a tendency to pitch you to one side if you have problems with balance, as I do (altho its very minor). When I wore them outside my first time, I slipped on a stair step at a theater and landed on my knees, leaving me with a knee injury. So don't buy these to wear in slippery conditions or if you have problems with balance.

I wanted to love these. I need boots that accommodate my orthotic inserts. The black pearl has a great metallic sheen, more charcoal gray. With my orthotics they felt heavy on my feet, tight across the top, and the left was a little tight on my smaller toes. Right size (41), but not a good fit. Sending back. I also ordered the Oyster in black suede in the same size, which seem to fit much better, so I'm keeping them.

I wear between a regular 7 and a wide 7. I wear a 38 in Dansko. However, this 38 Naot was too narrow, and definitely too flat -- don't even think about it if you have a high arch!

These are very stylish and pretty boots. They have a good arch support and feel very comfortable. My issue was I wasn't able to zip the zipper up all of the way. They are quite narrow on the ankle area, so I had to return them.

I thought these would be cute and comfy, from all the reviews. But they were clunky looking and not that supportive. And I thought the metallic leather was a bit gaudy. Sent them back

I am returning this item because they feel really tight in the ankle and top of the foot. The length is fine so going up a size wouldn't help. Not willing to eat the cost if they don't break in and soften up. But they're really pretty boots!

I fell in love with these shoes when I saw my friend wearing them in volcanic red. They are super cute! Sadly, they do not come in wides. I ordered a size up and was able to fit my feet in them with super thing socks. The footbed has exceptional support. Unfortunately, the width was pinching my foot, even with the thin socks, so they had to go back. Outside of the width issue, these shoes run short, so definitely order up. Wish they made wides, would buy them in many colors. :: sigh ::

I have several pairs of Naots on this Shell footbed and have boots from about 4 years ago in a style that is no longer offered that fit very well. This boot is too shallow in the toe box and a little too tight in the ankle to be comfortable for me. I have had to return them even though they are quite attractive.

These are not the best looking shoes but I couldn't figure out how I felt about it, if it was ugly or cool and modern looking, like a european trekker look? I am returning because they don't fit and $200 is too much to think they are somewhat ugly.

These were very cute, just what I was looking for. Sadly though I couldn't zip them, there is no elastic gusset and my ankles were too big. They were very snug with my socks on, but a larger size is not available. Back they go.

There were a few things about this boot that didn't appeal to me. First was that the Black Pearl leather was shinier than I had expected. I had wanted a more distressed leather. The ankle is very snug and I have thin ankles. The arch support was great, but it felt different on each foot. Maybe my feet are different and if that's the problem, I don't think I want such great arch support. This is the first return I've had to make to Zappos and I'm sad to do it, but they're making the process super painless. Thanks, Zappos!

Just returned these because of fit. I have narrow, thin feet and have 5 pairs of Naot including 2 pairs of boots so I was confident in ordering my usual size. I could not get my foot into the boot at all, which was disappointing. I plan to visit a retail shop and try them on in a larger size. I love my Naots and want to have ankle boots like these in my wardrobe.

Great looking boots. Love the look, not the fit. Run small, run narrow. Disappointed. Sending back.

This shoe looks and feels so weird like it is made for someone with serious foot problems. I cant even describe how weird it was to walk in this shoe. They also make your feet look huge! I do not recommend this to anyone.

These were the perfect boots - for a month. I returned them (I bought them on Amazon) because I thought they were defective. I bought them from Zappos and I will be returning the second pair. They are perfect initially, super comfortable sole, attractive. But the leather is so soft it loses all of its hold once it wears in. And you are left with really loose shoes. Too bad because they are so comfortable!

I love Naot sandals and shoes. I have 12 pairs of them in my closet. Unfortunetly, the zippers on these boots were impossible to pull up or down. My husband did manage to pull them down for me but I was unable to pull them bback up.
