These boots do NOT, in fact, tend toward a narrow width. I wear average width shoes and, if anything, have slightly wide feet with a high arch and these fit wonderfully. They are supportive, comfortable, attractive, and the color is so indeterminate that I can wear them with many colors of clothing. I like the slight spaceman appearance of these boots. The leather is super soft. I am really glad I bought them.

I have what I consider to be the finickiest feet I know of. A cloud could cause a blister. With that said, these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought. From the very minute I put them on, they cradled my feet in a supportive yet soft canopy of goodness. I'm in love with them. Yes they're expensive but worth every penny IMO.

I’ve owned these boots for years now and wear my own custom orthotics in them. They’ve held up very well. I love the zipper on the side, which allows me to easily insert my AFOs and the shoe width doesn’t irritate my wide feet, need for space around my toes or my bunions.

After ordering and returning many pairs of boots, I finally gave one last try on the Tellin\'s. They are fantastic and fit my difficult feet perfectly. I wear orthotics and can slip them in with no difficulty. Zappo\'s is a great service and always handles my shipping efficiently. Thanks!

The best boots your money can buy! I have always loved Noat shoes, but this is really the best ever. I just got back from a 2 week trip to Italy and i wore these shoes every day on the cobble stone roads. The weather was wet and really cold. My feet stayed warm and comfortable always. These look great, too.

I got these at the beginning of Winter and have not taken them off. I am a size ten and got them in 41. They were snug at first but happy I didn't size up. Once the leather stretched out (a week) they were perfect! I love these boots!

Like so many other happy Naot wearers, I use orthotics to correct pronation which over the years led to plantar fasciitis. My podiatrist told me I'd have to resign myself to wearing "ugly shoes." (He had never seen a pair of Naots.) When I brought in my pair of oxfords based on this same Shell footbed, he flexed one, turned it this way and that, and pronounced it good. "This," he said, "is how all shoes should be made." He explained that a buoyant but relatively stiff bottom most efficiently transferred one's walking motion into forward thrust. Tellin, Oyster, and Cruise are all built on the same footbed. If you have foot problems but still want to look fashionable, these should be your go-to footwear. I have Oyster in toffee and also in black (the black is low-gloss, toffee is matte). I also have Tellin in the black pearl, which manages to go with a wide variety of pants colors. All three of these boots are unrivaled for all-day comfort, around town or out walking the dog. Fashion-wise, Oyster has a toeline midseam ending in a wing-tip. Tellin sports concentric curves coming inwards from the toe. I find both styles attractive. My only problem with Naot removable-footbed boots? I wish they came in more colors. I'd have one of each.

Not quite - I liked the footbed, which is supportive and cushioned at the same time. However, the top of the boot was much too wide, leaving my foot flapping too freely. I'd definitely try this brand again, but will look for a style that would secure my foot better.

Love this boot and feels a bit snug while putting it on...but once my foot is in the boot it felt like heaven. Very happy!

I bought a pair of Tellin boots 7 years ago on Zappos for the same price they are now. They have been so fabulous I wanted to make sure I had another pair on hand for my finicky feet when the original pair finally give out. The footbed is just perfect for my rather flat feet in need of some modest arch support. I can walk for miles in these comfortably and they are my go to shoes for travel. I have the black pearl leather which is just different enough from standard black and is a bit funky. In comparing the new to the old, stitching is not quite as nice but still decent. A reasonable trade off for no price increase in these seven years I guess. A really good looking boot! Highly recommend!

This shoe is comfortable and well made. It arrived within 1-2 days. I am very satisfied. Zappos never disappoints me.

These boots arrived last night, and I have only taken them off to sleep. Honest. I even took a nap in them. \r\n\r\nThat\'s not just because they\'re comfortable, which they are -- really. My feet don\'t want to be without them. It\'s also because they\'re stylish. Every time I look down at my feet, or pass a full-length mirror, I feel a little thrill -- they look so cool! \r\n\r\nI am in love with them.\r\n\r\nThe color goes with brown and black. It\'s very unique, but not weird. The seams on the front are flattering to the wide foot. The arch support is superb.\r\n\r\nI have odd feet. I broke my left foot decades ago, and it never healed right, so it\'s bigger than the other. Both feet suffer from plantar fasciitis. But both feet feel great in the Tellins. I couldn\'t be happier.

I felt a little hesitant about buying these boots because of the price, but I\'m really glad I did. Immediately after buying them, I was in New York City for 5 days during a winter snowstorm. I had no issues wearing them right out of the box, and my feet were consistently comfortable, warm, and dry. Appearance-wise, these boots go with everything. Highly recommended.

Finally found my boots! After multiple returns (sorry, Zappos) I finally found my boots! I've only worn them twice, but have found them to be perfect in every way. They are so comfortable and the arch support is great. Nothing has rubbed the wrong way and even though they are VERY expensive, they were worth it. Now, if they can just hold up to extensive wearing, I'll be even happier. Also, the color is great. It's a mix between black, grey and bronze so you can really wear them with lots of clothing options.

I wanted so badly to keep these boots. They are beautiful to look at and beautifully made. I'm a size 11, though, and they were just too short. Please, please, Naot, make these in a size 43. There are plenty of us out here.

I've had these for a year now. I love everything about them, but one shoe squeaks something awful. It's kind of maddening, actually, and thus I wear them a lot less than I'd like. In fact, I almost never wear them! Anyone know how to get rid of the squeak?

these were very comfortable but i felt as if i should be wearing a space suit with them...they were a little odd looking in real life.

I am addicted to these boots! These are the best shoes in the world, I feel like my feet are in a luxurious bed. very good arch support. I never have pain when I wear these boots. Highly recommend. I also love the Oyster boot — I wish they would bring them back (how could they discontinue Oyster?!). Sure hope Naot keeps producing Tellin! Do wish it were available in more colors. I miss the pearl color they used to have.
