Nice quality leather, roomy comfortable fit. I love the style and have put in some 10 mile days with no problems walking around NYC. I love the sole which is stiff but has a rocker bottom. I wish that Naot made something similar, but lace up and that was waterproof for winter wear.

Most comfortable shoe of my lifetime. I could walk 10 miles a day, everyday, and never have any pain from this shoe. A+++++++++++++

I bought these because Naot brand has removable insoles and I wear custom orthotics. I usually buy all my shoes from The Walking Company, which has many brands with removable insoles. TWC did not have this Naot boot available so I purchased through Zappos. This is my first Zappos purchase in years. Shipping was fast. There was a scuff on my boot and I returned the original purchase, with no questions asked from Zappos. I ordered a 2nd pair and received the boots with TWO SCUFFS. I did not bother to return them again. Zappos, please wrap your shoes in more than one thin tissue paper!! Leather shoes scuff getting bumped around in transit. Do a better job with your packaging! For an almost $200 shoe I expect it to look perfect. I assume if I ordered a 3rd pair they would scuff in transit too because there is barely anything in the box to keep them from knocking around. Overall, the shoe itself is comfortable, fits my orthotics, and I like the weird space style. They do clomp around similar to chunky snow boots so just remember that if you order these.

True 12 not like kirei & that line. Also, it's the only footwear without laces that doesn't slip on my heel.

I love these boots. I wear an 11.5, so was happy to find a 12. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable to walk in. My feet do not hurt in these. I own other Naot shoes, and they last a long time. Well made and worth the price.

I'm going to keep them around for a little while because I hate the thought of actually returning these boots. They were perhaps the most comfortable boots I'd ever put on in terms of insole support. Alas, my toe brushes the front of the boot and will surely bruise if I try to walk the miles I'd love to in them. If only the heel was held in place a little better against the back of the boot; perhaps my toes wouldn't be so compelled toward the front. So, so sad that I finally found the perfect comfort, but the largest size available is still not large enough... Story of my life; I wear a size 12. I ordered a size 43, which usually corresponds well to the American 12 (Unlike the 42, which Dansko and many other brands try to pawn off as a size-12 equivalent). In this boot's case, the 43 is definitely more like a typical 42. Surprising, the variation in reviews of "true-to-size?"... Maybe mine is just a problem with the larger boots?

This is the second pair that I returned due to defects! I felt unjustified to have to drive to the post office twice to return shoes. My confidence on Zappos' quality control dropped. I am going to give it a third try as I really like these shoes.

Love everything about this boot - waterproof, warm, Naot has best fit of all manufacturers. I have deformed foot left by bunionectomy gone bad, but one reviewer didn't like these boots because of the style. They did not flatter her feet. True. The stitching is all wrong and does not flatter your feet. However, I need comfort, warmth, and waterproof so I kept them. I have about 6 pair of other Naot shoes. One day a lady in Costco's in Birmingham AL stopped and asked me about the real stylish "tennis shoes" I had on by Naot. So there.

These little boots are great. Very comfortable right out of the box, good support, interesting styling. I took them brand new on a trip to Spain and they were perfect for traveling, lots of walking, light weight. I am very happy to have them on my feet home and abroad!

Lovin Them - The boots feel great and look wonderful at the same time. The color is a real neutral and I am able to wear them with just about anything. I will take them to my podiatrist and she will pull out the removable footbed and beef them up in the areas where I need more support for my feet that have arthritis. Just lovin them.

Great everyday boot! This book is exceptionally comfortable, provides excellent support and seems to wear very well. The mottled look of the leather of this particular style is also great because it coordinates so well with other colors/textures. The style is very cute, but not too “cute-sie”. A perfect boot in my book if you are on your feet a lot and want a durable yet casually stylish shoe.

Naot Tellin - If you are a fan of the Naot Cruise, you will love the Tellin. Same footbed, super comfortable, soft leather, great color that appears almost gray. I love these boots.

I had such high hopes for these boots after reading all the glowing reviews, but they just didn't work out for me. I typically wear an 8.5-9, so I tried the size 40 in the Vulcan brown color. I noticed right away that the distressed finish was much more pronounced than I expected, and the two boots looked completely mismatched. I also found the 40 to be way too long on my foot. Back they went, and instead I tried a size 39 in the pearl black color. The 39s were long enough but so much tighter everywhere else, and there was a defect on the inside of one heel that rubbed and poked very badly. I also found that the leather on the shaft of the boot was very stiff. I would have tried to make one size or the other work if not for receiving two defective pairs. I expect much better quality for this price!

Comfortable, though runs about a half-size too large. Also noticed a stitching flaw on right boot. These should be seconds, especially at this price. Will return.

Trendy and Comfy yet a look drabber - The boot is comfortable with good arch support, trendy heel yet the distressed leather could be a bit less since they look like they have been worn in the rain for months. Also, Naot should offer the boot in more than one color.

I have had a long standing love affair with these boots - think I'm on my third or fourth pair now. But I am seriously debating whether to return for a another. The comfort is unbeatable - I have wide feet and high arches and these are amazing - but I am having a real tough time with the soles. Once they wear down a bit, they squeak like sneakers on a highschool gym floor. It's not an effect I'm going for at this point in my life. And now the materials on the soles are breaking down. It's such a shame because the leather outlasts the sole and there doesn't seem to be an easy way to get them resoled. Boohoo. Breaking up is hard to do.

I have the Naot Oyster which has exactly the same footbed and sole as these. I bought the same size, (40) but could not even get my feet into them even with the zipper all the way down. So, I am sorry to have to return them. I have worn the "Oysters" almost daily by the way.

This is a very cool looking and comfortable boot, but unfortnately the black pearl finish is poor and comes off easily, making the boots distressed in a cheap looking way.

How can this boot have five stars? I do NOT have a high instep and I had to pry my feet into them. No, they are not too small. Once I actually got them on my feet, they weren't bad in the comfort department, but one shoe felt smaller than the other, so much so that I checked the size on each shoe to ensure they were the same. And the leather? Wow! This shoe is pricey and the leather is hard and looks like plastic. I love this brand, but not this shoe.

I ordered the black pearl leather based on the photo on the Zappos site. What arrived wasn't the distressed leather with contrast stitching but a shiny black boot. The fit was great and I could tell the boot is comfortable, so I was disappointed in the color. I called customer service and put an exchange in place, asking for confirmation about the color I saw in the photo. The exchange arrived and I was disappointed to see that the shiny black boots with black stitching were in the box. When I went to the site to compare color again, I noticed that the photo of the distressed color with brown/orange stitching is still on the site, but when I clicked to enlarge, the photo switches to the shiny black with black stitching. So then I compared the boots on other shoe sites and noticed that the color of all the boots varies from site to site. On Zappos, volcanic red is shiny black with red stitching and on another site it's actually a brown/maroon distressed leather. I don't trust the photos of these boots, so I'm returning the ones I have and not re-ordering.

I'm returning these for three reasons. I'm size 5.5/6 and these are big, more like a 6. I wasn't impressed with the quality for the price, these seem like a 70-80 dollar boot. Also online the color looked like a mate grey, and in person a shiny brown.

These boots are the best! They have good arch support, so good I do not need to wear my orthotics with them. And they have a wide shoe box which I need. I also like the style. I have been buying this shoe for years and I hope that Noat continues to make them. I say this because they are getting harder to find.

The ONLY shoes that got me through two years of unexplained neuropathy. Perfect in every way. The sole is thick enough to provide excellent shock absorption for sensitive metatarsal area and loss of fat pad. The width provides enough space for all toes and slight bunions to live without constrain. The cork footbed molds to support the arch just as needed. The short boot height provides just enough support to the foot and ankle. I have had the boot in every color and worn out at least 6 pair of the black.And they are stylish (especially the smoke grey color which I was regularly stopped on the street about). They have truly been a lifesaver. Thank you Zappos for designing shoes with a gorgeous form and multi function. Next up….it would be so great to have a similar boot that is full on water proof!!! Please never stop making this boot and make more with this shell collection sole. It is perfection!!!!
