The sole is fabulous. I would have needed a size up for comfortable fit on my outer toe box. This Naot sole with the Alegria toebox shape and an 11" shaft would be the winner for life. Anyone listening? Had to return the Tellin.

These arrived today and I have not taken them off. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever tried right out of the box. I have a pair of Naot Sea Mary Janes and because I bought those in a size 40, I tried these in a 40 as well. I typically wear a 38 if the shoe is wide enough (like a Birkenstock) and I wanted to wear a medium weight wool sock with these. Perfect. The sole is very cushy and I know the leather and sole will get more foot forming as I wear these. I've been seeing a chiropractor and he made me promise not to wear my mukluks all day. (I live in a very cold climate, so these will not be my outdoor winter shoes, but they'll work when we go to town and for the house and studio.) My Mary Jane Naots were my summer everyday shoe, so I took the risk here. Steep price, but worth every penny for this comfort and style. Excellent all the way around! I have several short, black boots, but these are my absolute favorites. They feel wonderful and I can wear them for hours and my feet do not hurt anywhere. They support my ankles without any stiffness and have an almost springy feel in the soles. These are great boots!

I love these boots, this is my 12th pair of Naots and my favorite! In fact Naots is the only brand I buy. I have arthritis in my right foot. These are not too soft & not too hard - the most comfortable boot I have ever had!

Handsome shoes. The most comfortable boots to date for me and I am very picky. They are wide enough for my trouble bunions. I highly recommend Naot Tellin! Get at least a pair! Your feet will be very thankful. Wish Zappos will include more colors of this model please (I saw red, gradient black? and light green on Naot Canada's website). :-D

Order regular size to wear with thin wool socks. I wanted to wear these boots with thin smartwool brand socks and they fit just fine in my regular size. These boots are very cute and I kept the glossy black color because I wanted to wear with dress pants. But if you are looking for a boot to wear with jeans or cords, I would highly recommend the slightly more casual Black Pearl color, which is so beautiful. I actually like the Black Pearl color better since it is unique. This is my 4th pair of Naot shoes and I love every one of them. I have high arches and get a lot of foot pain. These really support my feet and are as comfortable as my sneakers. Ladies, it's worth the investment and I also like supporting a shoe company that is making quality shoes not junk with an expensive price tag.

These boots are beautiful, well-made, and true to size. I am on my feet all day (as a teacher) and my feet feel fantastic at the end of the day. I was hesitant to spend the money, but I am glad that I did.

I had seen these Noats in Bandon, OR and passed them up because of the price. After a month of regretting I'd not gotten them I went online to Zappos. Really happy I did. They are well made. Comfortable! Unique looking and I like the color. I like the subtle color, rather than shiny black. Doesn't make my long feet such a prominent feature. (I'm short and wear a 9.) Zappos mailed them quickly. Over all, very pleased!

I am so happy with this boot! This is exactly what I have been looking for! It is very comfortable and high quality,very well made. I had been having problems finding a deep enough toe-box, but this shoe is comfortably roomy! And a great fit!

I am pretty happy with the boots. The ones in the photo look more distressed that what I received. They are sharp boots and very classy regardless. Good and snug fit. Soles aren't so attractive but it's OK I guess.

Absolutely phenomenal boot that you can instantly wear and walk around all day. I wear Naot size 39 and this boot fits perfectly. Excellent arch support as I have problem arches after weakening them from poorly supportive shoes (before discovering Naot!) running to board a train in China. Recommend this incredible boot highly.

Very comfortable, they look better on your foot than in the photo. The side zipper makes them easier and quicker to put on than a lace up boot. I only buy Naot footwear because I can wear them all day, even when they are brand new.

I am on my second pair of Naot Tellin boots and would hate to have to go through a winter without them. My first pair lasted me two seasons. I generally walk about six city miles a day and I go through my shoes very fast. I have over a dozen pairs of Noats in all different styles; they are one of only a few brands my sensitive feet can wear comfortably. And boy are Tellin boots comfortable! They are my favorite of all my Naots. They are also very warm, completely waterproof and, last but not least, really cool looking. I get complimented on them often. I hope Naot keeps making this style of boots; I anticipate wanting to buy another pair in the future!

The color of these boots blends well with any darker color of pants since the finish has a pearl effect, rather than being one certain color. These boots are wide enough through the toes with a high toe box, & are extremely comfortable.

Love these boots! I have worn them almost every day for at least two winters and they are fantastic! Super comfortable, they have withstood the test of time. I was just coming back to see how much I paid for them. If they were to crap out tomorrow, I would have gotten my money's worth out of them! I may have to buy another pair to keep on hand once these do finally give up the ghost. I'm really picky about my shoes, and these deliver everything I could ask for.

These are wonderful! They are so comfortable. The leather is super soft and feels like it will keep getting softer with wear. They fit like a glove and do not require 'break in' at all. They have a high arch support, which feels a little different at first, but comfortable to walk in from day one. I was a bit unsure about the price-it was a little more than I was planning on spending, but now that I have them I think they are worth every penny. These will not be my last pair of Noat's!

Naot is my favorite brand. I have owned about 12 pairs between shoes, boots and sandals. I had the Oyster style boots (green forest color) for a while and I love them! They are very comfortable, provide excellent arch support and quality that was the main reason of purchase of Telin is the same bottom. Unfortunately after wearing them for two weeks I notice that the stitches on the second row on top of boot was coming off . I am very disappointed! I sent them back and Zappos credited right away.

I've developed foot problems in the last year and haven't been able to wear most of my shoes. I was quite desperate in April for some footgear I could wear on an upcoming trip to Russia as I knew lots of walking was involved. Zappo's came to the rescue, I was able to both order and send back shoes until I found the right fit... this turned out to be Naot shoes/boots in the 'Shell' collection which runs medium-wide with a large toe box. I ended up buying 3 pairs from this collection of which one was the Tellin boot. T love these boots, they were comfortable from the minute I put them on and they have a great look--the distressed metal is gorgeous! I sprayed them before I left and they have held up beautifully, even after getting wet a couple of times. Highly recommended!!

This boot is wonderful. 1. It looks great, not at all distressed but rather, it looks "normal" in that it's not all shiny and fake looking. 2. The arch support is fantastic, making for a very comfortable fit. 3. The stitching make the boot very interesting and classy looking without being overstated. 4. The heel supports and hugs the foot without rubbing or feeling tight. 5. The toe area is nice and open and no pinching. 6. The soles have a lot of traction.

Great for cold, wet weather, your feet stay warm and dry. Snug fit with standard, female sock. Wore two weeks daily in some snow and sanded walkways before scuffing of toe box noted. It could be because my feet do not touch the ground when sitting so I tend to rest on the toe of my shoes. Polishing corrected the scuff marks but I am losing the white thread accent with black polish. Definitely recommend for cold, wet weather.

I love these boots, but they were a little narrow for Naots. Usually I wear a 39 in Naot - including various boots/booties. But I had to exchange my 39 for a 40 and they work fine. I don't know if my foot has gotten wider - will have to buy another new pair of Naots to find out.

I wore these shoes 4-5 times per week (excluding summers) for 4 years! Excellent for a job walking and standing all day. The soles are now worn down & the stitching is coming loose, but I definitely got my money's worth and would buy them again if they were in stock in my size.

At first these felt terrific. After walking around about an hour, both big toes were uncomfortable. It feels like the toe section slants upwards too far. I'm hoping I can get used to that, because in every other way they are amazing.

I really really really wanted to fall in love with these. I love Naot and the comfort they usually offer. I love the look and color of this boot (I got the black pearl) Standing in this boot made me smile, b/c it is by far one of the more comfortable shoes to stand in. Great support & softness under my feet. What didn't work for me was the stiffness of the leather around the ankle and up. It felt restrictive and I know would bother me when walking or just flexing my feet back and forth. Maybe with time it would soften, but I can only return the boots if new, and I didn't want to take a chance on a $200 pair or boots, that it won't. Sadly, I returned them, but grateful that Zappos offers this great customer support.

Fit and size were superb. I have foot issues and can tell these boots were everything I need in the comfort department even without my orthodics.......however. I want something a bit more versatile and stylish. The top of this boot, near the ankle, is very big and wide and dictates that my jeans must go inside the boot. I wear skinny jeans and I really didn't like how they looked tucked into this particular boot style.
