The leather is beautiful. Kind of a black, grey, brown color. I had to return these shoes because they run very large. I'm generally an 8 or even 8.5, always a 39. The 39 size was enormous on me.

Overall I really like this boots. However because of my fused big toe I am having trouble getting into the boot

I normally wear a size 40 in Noat's. However these boots are super small along the 3rd, 4th and 5th toes and kind of loose in the ankle. That said I won't try a larger size as I'm sure they will be huge in the ankle. The color is different in person. Adorable. Unfortunately they just don't fit my foot.

I've kept these booties for a couple months trying to decide if I could get use to a shoe hugging my ankles. After wearing them around my home, I've decided I could not. So I'm finally returning them. Thank you Zappos for your excellent return policy. It keeps me coming back again and again.

This shoe felt a little wider than other Naots I've worn. They are attractive shoes, but I was concerned that the snug fit around the ankles might get uncomfortable. I love the color, though.

These are beautiful boots the construction seems to be good quality and I love how they look. I am trying to decide if I need to exchange them though because the right one feels much more snug at the ankle than the left one. I have not had this problem with other boots so I'm pretty sure it's the boots and not my feet. It's pretty subtle and they might stretch and get more comfortable but for this price they should fit right.

This is a great bootie! Love the color - it is a charcoal color with almost a pearlescent cast to it - very versatile. Great footbed.I am just having to return because I am having trouble with an instep - but this is not the shoe's fault. I know it will serve you well. It is rather narrow at the top - so keep that in mind.

Great boot, comfortable, lots of toe room, great arch support and seems to have "bounce" when I walk in it. I really wanted the Chi boot, but it was so narrow I could not get my foot into it. I like the weathered leather look on this color, and the design is pretty cool.

These are beautiful shoes and the footbed is super comfy. I really wish that Naot would make a true M or W shoe because they are always too narrow. These are supposed to be a M-W width, but are still snug on my feet. All other M width shoes fit me except for these. I'm so bummed because they have such nice low heels and comfy footbeds. Enjoy if you have narrow feet!

I really like these boots, but with one criticism: the zippers do not stay up all the way during wear. Both consistently come unzipped about ¼ of the way. Irritating, but not to the point that I wish to return them.

This boot is very comfortable with the fantastic Naot arch support. Unfortunately, they slip a bit and a smaller size would be too small.

These boots are pretty great. There's more red to them than the photos show, which was a very pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, they also scuff easily, revealing a pink leather underneath, and I have not yet figured out how to cover up the scuffs to make them less of an eyesore.

These are the best shoes I've ever owned. Waterproof, comfortable, super cute. The only problem is that the soles squeak. A small price to pay for otherwise perfect shoes. Plus I've had them a year, worn almost daily, and they still look new.

Love these little boots! I wear a lot of pink, and no red. I went ahead and bought these despite wanting pink detailing. To my eye the red does read more pink. I think it's up to the eye of the beholder on this one. I have high arches, and the boot fight way too tight across the top of my foot but after I took out their removable insole, they were great. I bought a new pair of slimmer insoles and use those. so cute and comfy.

Oh, these are comfortable. So comfortable. Sadly, I think they're a little too ugly to wear with a skirt or dress, which is what I'm looking for. But under jeans they would be great. They do feel quite stiff around the ankle out of the box - not sure how they would soften up over time. But my soles were so so happy even as my ankles were a little concerned.

The footbed on this boot is great, wide toe box but the ankle leather rubs into my leg. It is too high in the front - would be nice if it had an angle. I love this shell style and am keeping the SEA. Thank you.

I loved everything about these except that the heel was large, and my foot slipped with every step. Bummer!

Nice comfortable boot but the heel area was too big...sloppy feeling. Sadly returning.

The sole feels weird, kind of like I'm rocking outward on my toes. They're snug & cozy - I think I'm going to like them. I'm usually a 9.5 & the 10 fits well.

I wish Naot made half sizes. I wear a 9 1/2, but order the 41 from Naots. This particular boot is too long and I will return them. The boot is very attractive and well made, however.

I am a fan of Naot and these are very attractive shoes. They look well constructed as far as I can tell. However, they are quite stiff and inflexible. The sole is rigid and the heel is rock-hard. The leather around the ankle is very stiff. Seemed a bit small also, but that may have been due to the overall stiffness. Not what I expected for this style of shoe, which was support, cushion, and comfort. Returned.

The boot felt great until you got to the ankle...I have narrow heel and ankles but this was way too tight! Plus, who doesn't want to stick their skinny jeans or leggings inside a bootie?! No way with this one. I was sad because with a med-wide foot, the square toe box was really comfortable, and love the Naot support inside because I have a high arch. Plus the versatility of removable inner soles so you could put your own orthotic or whatever in there.

The fit was great, especially for someone needing a wide toe box. But apparently I have thick ankles/lower calves because I could barely zip these up. Certainly zero room to wear skinny jeans with.

I should have been smarter while reading the reviews but the "black pearl" color is much lighter than in the photo, and cannot pass the "black shoes" dress code. Unfortunately the "black madras" will not either because of the white stitching. When trying it on the sole felt a bit harder than expected and my heels were swimming in the back while the rest of the foot felt fine, although the real test would have been at the end of the day to see how much give they have. Hard heels alone will not let me last 8 hours on my feet, too bad.

Loved the style of these boots, good support but, I couldn’t zip up the boot all the way up. I have average ankle size but these boot are way to narrow at the top and it’s impossible to zip them up. Sorry to say I had to return them.
