Love these shoes!! I love Birkenstocks!! I have a pair of this style that I have worn for almost 10 years. I noticed that many people commented on the toe piece. I remember that when I first got mine that the toe piece really bothered me. But, I finally figured out that I was walking in them incorrectly. Once I got my form correct they are super comfy. Wearing Birkenstocks also corrected my rolling the foot to the side. I teach and wear them all day on concrete with no problems. Great support and look great with everything. Ready for my next pair!

Great sandals. I've had them for only a week, but I'm already loving them. They are a little stiff at first, which makes it a bit awkward for you to walk, but it took me only half a day until I wasn't thinking about the sandals while I walked. These are my second pair of Birkenstocks. I normally wear size 5, but this style wasn't available in size 36, and I am on a smaller side of size 5 anyway, so I took a chance and ordered 35. They were perfectly sized. My feet are a bit narrow, and I adjusted the buckle to make them even narrower.

Gizeh - The color is great. Same Birkenstock footbed that fans like. Very comfortable but with updating for the colorway.

Anonymous - I bought a pair of Birks like this when I went to Germany last summer, and I can't take them off they are so comfy. Also they are really pretty and feminine, especially the ones with printed designs. A must have for summer.

I love this shoe. I bought a purple pair when I lived in Germany 15 years ago and they finally died--so I replaced them with a new black pair. FYI: the 41 in this style is more narrow, and therefore more suited to my foot than the same size of some of the other styles, like Arizona, which tend to be more wide. And, yes, you eventually get used to the stiff thing-y between your toes. Initial blisters are worth it for the great support the shoe provides.

Around the world shoes - I love these shoes...wish I could wear them with socks as its getting cold in Kansas...I bought my first pr. in china two summers ago and my second last month thru Zappos. They are so comfortable and the color goes with just about everything. I love ordering from Zappos. The website is easy to use, quick delivery, good communication if they are out of stock. The merchandise comes safely and not damaged. And the Birks are so sturdy. I have worn my first pr. everywhere. They travel well. Thanks for keeping the style so long...

Ordered 2 pairs… shoes are not comfortable on the foot bed. Piece that goes under my toes is too far back. Does not hit my foot right

The thong between big toe on right foot has a burr on the plastic. Makes it very uncomfortable....They're a fine shoe, I just like other style better.

I love the Gizeh and wanted them in black. I have worn size 42 in Birkenstock sandals forever. These were a full size bigger. I traded for a 41, which fit perfectly. I also usually wear the narrow but these only came in regular, and I'm glad I got the regular. These fit more like a narrow, which is good. So maybe mislabled or sized differently? Ultimately I got a good fit and love the sandals!

I have worn out at least two previous pairs of the Birk Gizeh, and I ordered these in a Regular width, but this pair fits like a Narrow width--I think it might have been mismarked (on the insole!). Reluctant to reorder as I think I may receive a pair from the same "batch." Sad.

This is my second pair of these exact sandals. I have ordered 37 or 6-6.5 in all my Birkenstocks. I have no idea why this pair is so large! I'm disappointed, because I love this brand of sandals.

Length is accurate but the width was way off

Felt fit to size, but didn’t care for hard soal. Prefer more give felt like I was walking on hard surface.

I've been wearing my last pair of Gizahs for 7 years, and while they're still wearable, they are showing their age. This new pair however is a slight disappointment because the leather isn't nearly as nice as my older pair. It is thinner and a step down in quality. The footbed and cork appear to be the same, although they seem slightly narrower. I love them because I can wear them all day and they look great with everything, especially summer dresses.

Fit and size are perfect. Very comfortable after breaking them in for a few hours. However, the color is not as pictured. They definitely are not “oiled” and are very much just a uniform tan color. No variation like in the advertised photo. I still like them and am keeping them.

I am between an 8.5 and 9. I got the 39 and my toes kept rubbing agains the front edge of sandal. I decided to return. Bummed, because I think the color is great!

The color is great. The footbed seems stiffer than my other pairs. I’m in love with the color but unsure of the feel- pretty stiff

Love these Birka because they stay in my feet with minimal effort, unlike typical flip flops. What I didn’t love is the color. I was expecting an oiled light brown color and instead got a flat taupe color. It’s kind of boring. But it also goes with everything. So I’ll keep them but they were not what I expected.

I wish they sold the Gizeh oiled leather Habana with a soft foot bed!

I love the oiled Habana leather Gizeh! Unfortunately, Birkenstock doesn’t make this color with a soft footbed.

I often buy a size 9 shoe because I have wide feet. As this was my first pair of Birkenstock’s, I followed that same practice and ordered a size 40. Although the shoes are really comfortable, I should have gotten the 39. I’m keeping the pair I have and when I order my next pair, (there will definitely be a next pair) I will order the right size. These sandals are cute, comfy and effortless which is why I need at least one more pair in another color. The only reason for 4 stars is that there are noticeable white glue spots on the cork sole. For the price of this brand, that shouldn’t happen.

Love the looks of these shoes and have debated getting them for years. I ordered a 7-7.5 (I usually wear 7.5 or 8) and they are sooo big.

This is my second pair of this particular style. The only reason I gave 4 stars is due to the oiled leather look, the color varies. My first pair were lighter and I LOVED them. My most recent pair are much darker, which may be someones preference. I just liked the lighter better.

I typically wear a size 9, so I took the advice of others and went down a size in these which was a good call. Unfortunately, I could not get passed the idea of having to break in the shoes. I prefer shoes comfy right out of the box. I love the way these shoes look and really wanted them to work out but there's no way I can deal with breaking them in.

This is my 2nd pair of these -- my other is worn out though I still wear/love These seem a tad smaller than my many, many other pairs of B'stocks -- so I'd say trueish to size/width (my usual is 42R) Good old comfortable standard -- can't go wrong
