The Brooks Addiction Walker is just as it says: an 'addiction' to walking in them. I have really bad feet because of years of running, aerobics and golfing in improperly fitting shoes. I am 75 now and would be almost stationary without these shoes to continue my routines. I only wish I had purchased a black in addition to the white. I bought another brand in black and I should have returned them. Podiatrist gave me a list of shoes to try and this shoe was on the list. Wish I had known of them much earlier.

I really like my new Brooks Addiction Walkers. They are a bit more snug than my old Brooks Addiction Walkers, but yet are comfortable and nice to walk in. My old Walkers were black, but my new ones are bone color. I like the bone color so much better. The nicest things about getting these Walkers from Zappos was the fast, convenient, and professional service. They really know what they are talking about when assisting with an order. A person can order with confidence in being pleased. I do recommend Zappos for excellent products and service.

This is a great shoe. It is very sturdy and long lasting. I have plantar fasciitis and this shoe helps me keep the pain at bay. I typically also use inserts which this shoe accommodates nicely.

This is my second pair of this particular shoe; I love it. The fit is fantastic. I would recommend this shoe to anyone, but especially to those who have trouble finding a comfortable walking shoe.

These shoes are terrific! They are very comfortable and stable for walking. I find that I can wear them to walk all day and my feet still feel good at the end of the day.

As a letter carrier for 15 years I have done a lot of walking and these are the best shoes I have ever had. They are the only ones I have found that keep my "heel spurs" from hurting. Walking without pain has been a consistent experience since I switched to this brand, after trying many many others. My sister has had the same experience. If the Post Office would add them to their uniform account we all might get our mail faster! They will make your feet feel good!

I have bought at least 4 pairs of Brooks Addiction Walkers, all different sizes, which have helped me get through pre- and post neuroma surgery on one foot over the past year. Most importantly, they don't have a "metatarsal bump" on the inside sole pad which so many shoes have to support metatarsal bones. I have needed just the opposite, no ridge under my metatarsals because that would press on the area of my neuroma or would get in the way of my orthotics' configuration. During my post surgery recovery, they have been the shoe I have worn every day (once the swelling was gone). They aren't fashionable, but that has been a secondary consideration to mobility. They have accommodated my orthotics well and have given my feet stable support. Now that my foot has recovered, I will keep ordering them for day hikes in summer and traipsing around in the winter weather in the Northwest because they are sturdy. I can't say enough good things about them if a person wants function and not fashion.

These shoes are very comfortable. I had been having foot problems on both the top and bottom of my feet, and they help lessen the pain.

I would recommend these Brooks shoes to anyone with a wide foot who also wears orthotics; the insole comes out and the orthotic slips right in. I was sorry that Brooks discontinued their earlier model of this shoe as that one was absolutely perfect. This update, while workable is not quite as wide but after a few wearings was OK. It does have good support and that filled my need. It remains a good walking shoe as I toured some of Washington, DC on foot recently and they kept my feet comfortable.

Brooks walking shoe - I am really impressed with the comfort of this shoe. I have owned Brooks sneakers before and they have helped my plantar fasciitis. I work in a hospital and am on my feet all day. Thank you for such an impressive product.

Brooks Addiction Walker with shoe laces - This shoe is great except I prefer the hook and loop style, which is much easier to get on and off. Brooks Addiction walking shoes are the sturdiest, most long lasting of any walking/running shoes I’ve worn. I like the black color because it doesn't show dirt. This shoe is especially good for people who need lots of toe room but a heel that doesn't slide off when you walk. I use a heel lift in one shoe and it fits inside the shoe perfectly. This shoe is a bit stiff when you first try it but that stiffness seems to go away. I hope Zappos keeps carrying this style for a long time!
