I was looking for all-white sneakers, which are difficult to find, and saw this. It happens to be a walking shoe, something I've never worn. It may be it is the perfect walker but I find it extremely stiff -- I'd go so far as saying it is "hard." I prefer a more flexible shoe. Also, the sole is slippery on wet surfaces; no good can come from that.

Not slip resistant. I bought these because of their great reviews and for slip resistance. Although they were very comfortable for my shift at the restaurant where I work, they are not in any way slip resistant. I might as well as worn dress shoes for as slippery as these were on our floors. It's a bummer because they were very comfortable but my work requires slip resistant shoes so we don't have unnecessary falls when we are rushing food out to customers. No way should these shoes be advertised as slip resistant. Yes, they were very comfortable and I'm sure they make an excellent walking shoe.

These had the strangest and most overwhelmingly (bad) smell. I guess it is the leather. I thought they would air out, but they have not. I need to return them!

I wanted to like these shoes. They seemed to fit well at first. After 3 days my knees were killing me. I am on my feet all day at work, and I was thinking I would not be able to continue my job. Then I replaced the shoes with my old New Balance shoes and all pain went away. Then I had to order a new pair of New Balance shoes because my old pair were squeaking, which is why I ordered the Brooks to try. The Brooks will be going to the thrift shop where I work.

I was so excited to get these - I work in a commercial kitchen and need good shoes that have traction. These are the slippiest (not a word, I know) shoes I've ever put on my feet. I'd have more traction walking on wet and greasy floors in my 4" heels!
