This should probably size up half size. Overall, when I put them on, my college-aged sons forced me to remove them and thought they were uber dorky. Not that I'm all that sensitive, but from a styling standpoint, they really are old guys' shoes. Even my wife groaned.

I sent back I ordered a EE and it was still too narrow I have a high arch and the lacing section would not expand enough to get my foot in comfortably.

Let me start out by saying I have owned three pair of these prior to this purchase. Brooks had reputation of going small on their sizes. This time I ordered a size larger in the wide width I needed. To my surprise, they were really a size larger. So they went back to Zappos. Puzzled by the fit on the current pair I ordered to replace the above oversize pair. While they are labeled as my size ( 14EE ), they are way too short and not wide enough. Its not like they will stretch with break in. Fit is beyond snug. This breaks my heart. These are best shoes I ever owned. I will diligently pursue getting to bottom of this sizing issue by another exchange, with hope that the replacement to be sent will originate from a different manufacturing lot. I will contact also contact Brooks to ask if they are experiencing any quality assurance issues lately. It saddens me to give a bad review for such a great shoe. But my reason is to get Brooks' attention.

Not up to Zappos quality. Feels very cheap, poorly make...

This is one of the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever tried on. How the Brooks company thinks these are "walking shoes" absolutely baffles me. I wear work boots most of the week and I couldn't stand these planks of wood on my feet for longer than 10 minutes. I implore you, order a normal brooks running shoe or go with the beast model. The shoe itself is well constructed, but they dropped the ball on the foot bed. These are nothing but an overpriced door stop. DO NOT ORDER THESE!

After debating whether or not I could justify the price of the Brooks Walker, I went ahead and purchased a pair in February. The shoes felt great out of the box-a tad more roomy at the top then I'm used to- I had ordered them in wide after reading the reviews-but certainly within reason. After wearing them every day for 3 months, the leather fabric has stretched out and broken down to the point that I'm rolling out the sides and swimming from side to side. Worn out after 3 months? And this is what Brooks testifies to be the expected lifespan? How can a company make a shoe that is expected to last 4 months and then charge.

I have been buying this shoe for many years Last pair October 2013. Just purchased 2014 model and Brooks has changed the platform of this shoe. It used to be a much more minimal drop in the back and now seems more. Feels like the outer part of the shoe along pinky toe has give now and the arch support is not as good as previous model. So now I get sacral and low back pain when I wear them and pain in calves, knees and hip. Shame on you Brooks for taking a long standing shoe with good success and ruining it! I will not buy again. Can't say I will miss these sweaty hot Frankenstein shoes but will be a challenge to find one that compares to the 2013 model. I overpronate and am flat footed, weight 200.

Poor arch support and insufficient cushion. I am sorry that I wasted my money on this shoe. These shoes don't provide enough support on their own, but when I add an orthotic insole, they hurt my little toe. I was hoping this Brooks shoe would be okay after I broke them in, but unfortunately, they still hurt my feet every time I wear them. It was my fault for not returning these shoes for a refund, immediately. The black color is the only redeeming feature of this shoe. Kudos to Zappos for super fast delivery. I will purchase another pair of Nikes, from Zappos, instead. The Nikes are less expensive, have better arch support, and much better cushion. I didn't realize how much I loved the Nikes until I bought these Brooks.

This is the second pair of this shoe that I have puchased. The fit and feel is very good and is very close to the older shoes that I have.

The shoe is my 3rd pair so I already knew what to expect. I absolutely love the Brooks shoe. I walk more than the average person, usually around 4-6 miles per day, these shoes make it easy for me. As far as Zappos goes, I had never made a purchase from Zappos but this will not be my last one. The communication was great and they shipped as fast as anyone else in the business.

Fit is good, I have been buying this model shoe for over ten years, they work great for me. I live in fear Brooks will discontinue them. Zappos as always is great. Always have them in stock, fast shipping and the best customer service on the planet!
