Very comfortable and support is good. I like the leather upper because of the protection from the rain. I find that I can not lace the last set of holes up, as then the shoe gets too tight...perhaps it's my high arch.

Because of serious problems with my right ankle the only show I can wear comfortably is the addiction walker. It gives me the support I need plus leaving room for expensive orthotics

I use these shoes for my 12 hour shifts in the Hospital. The stability and comfort while standing and walking an average of 5 miles each shift is unprecedented. I highly recommend them for people with back, foot and hip problems.

I have worn these shoes for years. I work in an environment which requires me to be up and moving for 6 out of my 8 hours. They last. And last. I have a pair for my off days as well. I just bought a new pair for my trip to Disney and didn't get one blister or sore feet. Just the best shoes ever.

I have worn Brooks running shoes the past 3 years. Have had trouble with me feet with a neuroma and large toe joints. Saw a podiatrist. A list of recommended walking shoes included the Brooks Addiction Walker. I didn't know Brooks made a leather-top "dress" shoe. Along with the new orthotics and the Addiction Walker I no longer have trouble with me feet. They are a wonderful shoe. I have two pair using one at home on the farm and the other going to town. I'm also using the Brooks Beast running shoe for exercise.

I now have 2 pairs, brown and black. The only issue is cleaning the brown pair. Mild soapy water does not work.

Great shoe for walking. After heart surgery, I was told to walk 1-3 miles per day. With this shoe, I walk in total comfort. After a few hundred miles I can see little wear.

Simply the most comfortable shoe on the market. I use mine for walking. I am on my feet 14 hrs a day and these shoes make it bearable. I try and buy them every 3-4 months- While some may think they arent the cheapest, they more than make up for it in comfort and this company stands behind their products 100%

The "Addiction" is well named - I have owned ~ 6 pair over the past 15 years. The main reasons are their comfort, fit, and performance. The innersole is a thick foam that effectively cushions your foot. The toe box is relatively wide for the width. I have a 14 B shoe as my feet are very narrow, but my toes are wider, which makes shoes hard to find. The Addiction fits this shape effectively. I own both the white smooth leather and the brown nubuck. The smooth leather is a little stiffer and I use them for daily casual use; the nubuck is more pliable and I use them more for hiking and working - but that is by preference as they are both capable all around shoes. the outer soles have a wide gap tread that reduces the mud/rocks picked up, and provides adequate traction on slick surfaces. Not the best on ice, but not bad. The thick outer sole provides good, but not spongy, cushion. The shoes are well made and i have had almost no trouble with the craftsmanship. On one pair of the nubucks the rubber tip of the sole that wraps up to the toe started pullling away after a year of hard use, but an easy repair with all purpose glue solved the problem. An excellent walker for a good price.

I use the Addiction Walker (bk) and plan on buying the brown model. This is a perfect walking shoe and when my age, 75, causes regular problems, I can go back to a 2 mile walking course without worrying about my feet. Great product.

Just the best shoes. My feet have never been more comfortable in a shoe. I will be buying another pair of the same in the future.

Great walking shoe. I oversupinate and need the lateral post up port. Do you possibly make this shoe in a dress shoe or more casual no tennis shoe look? If not, you should.

I first purchased brown Addiction shoes size 2E wide, but they were too narrow for my foot. I returned for size 4E wide and have been walking on clouds ever since. My return of the first pair was effortless. I'm very happy with the company and their shoes. I just wore the shoes during a vacation to Italy and they handled all the stone stair steps and hills without any problems. I discovered the shoes after visiting a foot doctor and discovered that he was recommending Brooks shoes for their excellent construction and foot support.
