Great all around shoe - I have the black leather version. I wear the shoe during 1-2 mile walks in Seattle rain or shine every day and sometimes find myself still in the shoe hours past my walk time. I've had the shoe now about a month, I wear orthotics always in all shoes. No visible sign of wear and tear and the shoe is extremely comfortable with great foot support. I marked the Brooks Addiction Walker down a little in look (big area of smooth non-attractive leather between laces and toe, although I wear a size 13), but the comfort and overall quality of the shoe make it an overall 5 star shoe... great shoe.

Best shoe for the narrow foot - Having a narrow foot size AAA, needless to say it has been increasingly difficult to find shoes. The Brooks Addiction Walker 13N is all I buy now. If they ever stop making it or it only comes in white I will be in big trouble. And Zappos is the best! Arrived the next day on my last pair. Wow!

Best shoe for osteoarthritic knees. Great cushion and design prevents twisting. Provides significant relief when walking.

Excellent Shoe - This is the third and latest version of the Addiction Walker, and it is clearly the best one yet. The tongue is longer than before, the padding is noticeably thicker, and support in the sole of the shoe is both more comfortable and firmer. The shoe costs about more than what I paid for the first two versions, but it is definitely worth the cost in overall quality. As with the other two versions, this is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Also, it can be worn in fairly dressy situations without embarrassment. Lastly, my experience with Zappos is as it always has been – the best online service in the business.

3rd times the charm, tried this in 10.5 and 11 before getting 11.5 (all B width). Used to wear 10.5 for decades, but just learned that feet can grow with age.

Initially, these were hard to put on at and felt stiff on my feet. These are common "new shoe" issues, but the stiffness of these shoes were unusual to me. I've had to loosen some of the laces and re-tighten others. I started using a long shoe horn to get into them. Once on, they still feel a little heavy and stiff. But they feel good walking. They give a lot more support than my previous shoes. I can walk the same distances as before, so they are clearly good walking shoes. Just unusually stiff and heavy-feeling. They look great, though. I love that they have no markings. I can wear them to just about any event and not draw attention to my wearing athletic shoes to it.

Thank goodness for the widest offering in the foot box...these were spot on and I’m wearing them everywhere...so comfy too!!!

Nice solid black sneaker for any occasion. I like that they come in a narrow width. I would have kept them but I like the Saucony Omni Walker just a little better. Good shoe though.

In recent years, the only walking and everyday shoe I've been able to wear that helps my plantar fasciitis is the Saucony Grid Omni Walker--until now. The Brooks Addiction has been a pleasant surprise. I had a pair of these a long time ago and felt they were too tight. The fit has been much improved, probably by the use of a different last. I have plenty of toe room now. And like the Saucony, these have a 12 mm drop, which seems to be important for people with PF. Shoes that are too flat and low exacerbate my heel pain. I would highly recommend the current version of the Brooks Addiction.

The shoes are great. However, the laces supplied with them are 1) Too short! 2) Don't function like normal laces (IE: when you pull on them they don't draw through the eyelets). 3) Are VERY frustrating for older people with arthritic fingers, which considering these shoes are aimed at older men, is very silly. I'll keep the shoes, throw the laces away and never buy this brand again.

I was looking for a slip-on, but couldn't find one in my size, 12.5 B, so I bought these. While they are slip-on, they are very comfortable.

I bought these for my Dad. He usually wears an 11.5 narrow but because of other reviews I ordered a 12 narrow and they fit perfectly. He loves them and says they are very comfortable. I wish they were a little more stylish but they aren’t horrendous.

Very comfortable shoe. I suggest you order a half size larger and one size wider than normal.

This is the first pair of shoes that has releived the pain. I can finally walk without pain. While walking I've experience pain at my 5th metatarsal bone for more than 10 years as well as calous build up. We'll see about the calous. I was purchasing different price levels of Asics with gel hoping that would resolve my pain with no satisfaction.

They arrived quickly; they do fit my 4E extra wide foot. Would buy from Zappos again.

I received the shoes on the date scheduled and they fit perfectly. The shoes are very comfortable and lessen pain in my right achilles tendon to the point of not even feeling it. This was a problem with my old shoes, so that I could hardly walk. I have been walking with them every day since receiving them and am very happy with them except for one annoyance, which is that the shoe laces are about an inch too short.

My husband wasn't thrilled with the color and almost sent them back. But he tried them on and has been wearing them since.

Comfort and stability - This is the fourth major shoe of this type that I tried. Finally I got one that fit right and had very soft leather that didn't "break" across my toes painfully when I knelt down. I needed only about three days to break them in properly. I am a nurse on a busy floor and this shoe does the trick, more so than the New Balance brand.

Great Shoe! Brooks make great running shoes and I bought this model/style for work since I will be on my feet a lot. The style and color are perfect for my work environment. Great quality and comfortable. I hope these are as good as my other pair of Brooks. As always, Zappos exceeded my expectation on service and customer satisfaction!! I gave these a 4 rating since I've only owned these a very short time.

I was looking for a comfortable yet stylish shoe. The Taryn Rose Lupe shoe arrived today and it is indeed a good looking shoe. Unfortunately I am unable to judge comfort at this point since I discovered today that this style runs small to size. (In my case I normally where a 9.5 -- B width.) I should also mention that I found that the shoe's design was such that the shoe hugged my foot nicely in terms of width. I have now returned the shoe for a larger size. It remains to be seen if going up 1 size (to a 10) or two a 10.5 will achieve the proper fit.

Excellent comfort, fit, etc. I am a restaurant manager and am on my feet anywhere from 8-12 hours a day. These shoes have been a godsend replacing my Crocs, Danskos, and SFC. My one complaint and the reason it didn't get a perfect 5 is that the "non-slip" needs a lot of improvement. It works, it’s about average, but it’s nothing like the SFC or Crocs non slip grip.

Too stiff and heavy. Would prefer a lighter shoe. Need a comfort shoe for limited walking.

This is a very heavy shoe. If you are looking for a soft souled shoe, choose another. That being said, it is high quality but feels like your walking on concrete after wearing Brooks Ghost shoe.

I bought these for my husband and he loves them! The pros are that they come in extra wide and in his size. The cons are that he is hard on shoes and the top of the toe area is coming apart and he had them for less than a year. However, I contacted Zappos and they gave him a brand new pair. That is awesome customer service!

I like these. They're comfortable and fit well. I do wish there were more stylish options for folks who overpronate. I'm 33 and these look like shoes my granddad would have owned. Still, from a distance they can do okay in a semi-casual work environment. They're not embarrassing, but they're not attractive either...
