Excellent shoes, surprised at the quality as this is the first time I have purchased shoes by Brooks. I have narrow feet and finding shoes to fit properly has always been a hassle, not to mention trying to find an acceptable style and color. These shoes fit the bill entirely.

Many years ago a specialty shoe store fitted me with these Brooks shoes as an answer to my Plantar Fasciitis. Within 2 wks the pain in my heel was gone and I was walking normally again. I’ve tried other shoe styles, but the PF returns and eventually I need to return to these. And, every time, the burning goes away and I’m walking pain-free once again. For my sake, I hope they never stop producing these shoes!

In my case, the 2E wide was a bit snug, but the 4E was just right. No air holes, but probably warm in winter -- a tradeoff. Very stable, a good platform for street walking over rocks and everything else.

I bought these for my husband who says they feel like slippers, and he's very picky. They are very good looking, too!

Great walking shoe! This is my second pair and they are much more durable than the equivalent Rockports, and more comfy too.

Love these shoes! Went with the 4E, and they fit great. Was concerned 4E might be too wide, but it's not. I wear them at work, which has a business casual dress code, since I am on my feet a lot. Being a heavier guy (250), I needed a shoe that wouldn't break down and start squeaking. These are built like a tank, and very comfortable. Great arch support. At first, the arch support felt a bit much, but after a few weeks the shoes formed to my feet.

My second pair. They\'re great. Comfortable and long-wearing.

I purchased this shoe several months ago and it's probably the most comfortable walking shoe I've ever experienced. The shoe box is slightly larger which allows your foot to stretch comfortably as your walking. This shoe rocks, so buy it.

After two months, still completely comfortable, and not a hint of wear. I had ordered these, as my daily half mile walk to and from my local bus stop alone was creating blisters and hurting my feet in other ways. Since I got these, no problems at all. Very happy with these as comfortable shoes to be moving about in throughout the day, I have no more sore feet by the end of the day, as I used to. I normally wear an 11, but with this shoe had to exchange for a 12, it just felt way too small.

These shoes are great. My husband has severe fallen arches and arthritis and has serious problems with his feet, ankles and knees hurting so bad. Five years ago a foot specialist suggested that he get Brooks Addiction Walkers. So, 5 years and 8 pairs later, he still says they are the most comfortable shoes, and causes him the least foot and ankle pain of any shoes he's ever had. The arch support is unmatchable. He won't even look at other shoes. He is very happy (always) with these shoes and I am very happy because I hear him complain of pain a lot less). We both recommend these shoes, whether you're buying for looks, for comfort or both! A great pair of shoes and they look very nice, too.

I have had a very difficult time lately with my flat feet and my planter's fasciitis. These are the best sneakers that I have found. They are amazingly comfortable and their inserts are even better than my custom orthotics. I would highly recommend these sneakers.

I would recommend this shoe to any one. Most comfortable shoe ever purchased. Have the brown, black and now the white.

I have looked for a comfortable shoe which would alleviate heel pain. I have tried many well known brands. I finally got relief from Brooks.

have a wide foot and can't find anything in stores anymore where I live to fit. First time I tried the Brooks brand and they fit perfectly. Comfortable right out of the box. Exceptional service, fast shipping. I have used Zappos several times and never disappointed. Thanks!

These are the best walking shoes out there, in my opinion. They have excellent arch support. There was a time when I could buy them in nearly every store and website that offered athletic shoes. But no more! This is the fifth pair of Brooks Addiction walkers that I have owned and I will now buy them ONLY from Zappos in the future, since they were able to fill my order and have them delivered in 48 hours!!! Amazing!

I have Morton\'s neuroma on one foot and needed a shoe with a thick sole that would dissipate pressure on the ball of my foot (particularly when driving). This shoe has worked better than any other brand that I have tried, which includes Earth and Rockport. The width was a little narrow but after a week or so, expanded to fit very comfortably. Overall I would highly recommend this shoe for others. They are very comfortable and supportive in the right areas.

I work 12 hour shifts on a factory floor. I\'ve tried a few different styles of shoes to provide comfort for my feet for the duration, even a pair of Marine field boots. These Addiction Walker\'s are the best I\'ve had for being on my feet for so long, in a very long time. Although my feet are usually tired after a shift, they are not sore, sometimes for days with other shoes. They are an excellent choice for those needing to be on their feet for extended periods of time.

These are my fourth pair of these sneakers. Great shoe! Very comfortable, excellent fit and long-lasting.

I really like my first time buy of Brooks Addiciton Walker 08\'s. I read some of the reviews and I\'m glad I did. I ordered a half size larger (14) and narrow width. However I did find it a bit tight. I had my shoe repair shop guy stretch the width just a bit. My orthotic fits well and I can walk again comfortably even though I have a neuroma condition in my feet.

I ordered Brooks shoes for my husband. He takes a 4E, so are difficult to locate. He only wears tennis shoes and also wears orthotics which fit perfectly in Brooks Addiction Walkers. Hope they never stop making these shoes. I ordered 2 pairs a couple of years ago but they no longer make that SKU number. The sales person helped me locate the new SKU number and I ordered another 2 pairs. They were shipped overnight with no additional expense to me. great service! I will be back again when he goes through these new shoes!

On my third pair. Fantastic comfort and quality. After Rockport discontinued the walker I'd worn for 20 years, I feared I'd never find a shoe of equal quality. First discovered the Brooks Addiction Walker in a shoe store, bought a pair, and loved them. Better than Rockport. Zappos and Brooks are it from now on.

I recently made the transition from being a runner to being a walker. I found that the running shoes lacked the comfort I was seeking since I was actually out longer on the walks. It was my first purchase from Zappo\'s and it will not be my last. Upon receipt of the shoes (3 days standard ground) I found the shoes a bit small. I call the customer service and they were very knowledgeble on finding the correct fit. They also expedited the correct size to me without waiting for the return. Everything was extremely customer friendly and focused. I received the replacements and they fit perfect.

Great shoe, Great Zappos service. Had to order one size larger than normal, and it is still a bit small. Once I figured out that I needed an 11 1/2 to fit my 10 size foot, all was well.

Great support with this shoe. I even am comfortable after many hours on my feet at work.

A few years ago I broke both feet in a construction accident, and after extensive surgery this shoe was recommended by my doctor. Orthotics fit well and this shoe gives me the support I need to walk short distances. No other affordable brand can compare (although for winter I did find a good Dunham boot), so I'm on my fourth pair. highly recommended.
