I normally wear a 10½ in women's. I ordered a 9 in men's and they fit perfectly. I love how comfortable these are right out of the box!

I bought these in a 15 narrow. They are the best fitting shoes I've worn, they don't slip on the heel and have great cushioning. I'm also flat footed and the arch support wasn't so high that it hurt.

I have been wearing this shoe daily for work for about 2 weeks. I work outside and walk on asphalt most of the time. I like these shoes. They are lighter than the NB 927s and do not collect stones in the sole like the New Balance does. I did find them to be snug when I purchased them in my normal size, 10.5 EE. I moved up to the next size and width: 11 EEEE. Much better fit. I feel that they are a bit too long, but I needed the room in the toe box and additional height space from arch to top of foot (laces). I received excellent customer service from Zappos. The new shoes arrived within two days of calling for return instructions. Excellent!

Purchased the Brooks Walker for my dad and he loves them! They are a great all around walking shoe.

Look, these are not the most handsome shoes on earth - they have a clunky old-guy look to them. But in the brown, you can get away with the styling as the shoe almost looks like a hiker. My kids made me return the black and the white is a dud, but the wife said the brown was just fine. Now, about the comfort, these are off the hook. Put them on and wore them all day without complaint. By the third day, they were broken in completely and a delight to wear.

First pair of Brooks I have purchased. I have been wearing them for 6 months and just ordered my second pair. I have flat, flat feet and wear orthotics. I have not had to put the orthotics in these shoes and after several hours on my feet, both standing and walking, I have had far less discomfort than usual. I have just ordered a second pair of Brooks, different style. We'll see how those work out.

These (in both the brown & black versions)are pretty much the only shoes I have found that fit me well enough to be comfortable. I have bunions on both feet which put me into the extra wide 4E/5E size. While other shoes are available in 4E, they are usually narrower than advertised. These shoes in 4E seem to be pretty close to 4E, maybe just slightly narrower. They are well made. I have been buying these shoes for about five years and with some of these that I purchased several years ago the sole was separating from the leather at the front where the toe is. The most recent ones I bought don't seem to be having this problem so far. A word of caution with the brown suede version: I would recommend that you apply a sealer/water proofing agent to the leather before you wear them for the first time as they mark and stain very easily, as any suede would.

This shoe was comfy from the moment I put it on. As I am getting older it seems my feet are expanding a little bit. I needed a 9 in this shoe where I usually was fitting in an 8 1/2, so it might be possible that the shoe runs a little small. Most recent purchase of these was my fourth pair. They wear like iron, clean up well for months, so I've stayed with them for several years now. Eventually they would need to be re-dyed to be truly white again, so I just use them for yard work and other don't-need-to-look-nice functions. When I finally rotate through the new ones, the oldest pair might be a couple years old, but still going strong, if becoming less attractive. I toss them not because they're unwearable but due to limited space and I only need one pair each for the yard work, maybe one for nicer around town going out and one for hanging at home but not out working. First class shoe and good value.

This is the 3rd pair of Walkers: one for the garden, one white and this.I have a wide foot and arthritis. I find these to me extremely comfortable. Most of the time, I still use orthotics in them.

I only bought these shoes, because you were out of the 928 New Balance that I wanted. These are equal to if not better than the New Balance. Thanks to Jennifer who recommended them!

I absolutely the best walking shoe made... don't waste your money paying more for any other walking shoes, the brooks walker has it all. I have been wearing this shoe for approx. 15 years and whenever I switch to another I end up going back to Brooks. Good shoe, one minor complaint is they get a little hot so if I am wearing them all day I will take them off for a while.

Great-fitting shoes in a difficult size. Extremely comfortable (you could sleep in them). And the price was right and delivery was fast.

The newly improved model is his favorite, the length-ed tongue is a good improvement. I love shopping at Zappos...fabulous! These are great shoes. The quality is very high and they are long lasting and durable. This will be my fourth pair because I wear them all the time. That said a pair will last 2-3 years. This is a great shoe for flat feet and pronation issues.

I tried these for a week and my feet and legs feel unbelievably great! These shoes take comfort to a new level. The size was a little smaller than a true fit, at least for me. So I ordered a second pair half a size bigger and they fit perfectly. Zappos is excellent to deal with. The ship fast ship, make returns easy and have good customer service. As the old commercial says "Try it, you'll like it."

Best walking shoes I have tried. Ordered them in black. Will definitely order more of these. Extremely comfortable. Zappos' service is great. I am still waiting for a call back from a local shoe store that I called a month ago about whether they could get these shoes in my size!

These are good shoes. I do not feel any pain, and they are comfortable. They gave me the bounce in walking that I used to have. These shoes look as good as any other shoes that I have seen. I have to agree that they are not true to size and I had to order another pair one size bigger.

These are very comfortable, provide good support, and cushion your feet while supporting them. I walked all day long and my feet are not in pain or tired. As for appearance they are good but not great. Perhaps getting some sportier laces will add some appeal. So far these are the most comfortable walking/sneakers that I have found. When ordering going half a size bigger might be good as they are only true to size if your feet are perfectly normal.

I have to admit I was skeptical, but these are really great walking shoes. They feel really great with no added insoles or anything. I had foot surgery in February, and these make the morning two miler a real easy thing to do again.

Bought these shoes for walking and casual wear. Wore them this morning on my walk and they were great. My feet did not hurt like they have been recently after my morning three mile walk. They're very light and comfortable. The shoe strings are oddly short and actually a little difficult to tie. But beyond that I'm very pleased.

These are very Comfortable shoes! They add support to your feet and cushion your feet. The shoes run half a size small especially if your feet are not perfectly straight, have crooked toes, swollen feet etc. Your best bet is to order half a size bigger than you normally get. If you plan on wearing these with heavier socks get a size wider as well. The look of these shoes is good while not geat. I can honestly say that after wearing them for 10 hours a day for several days my feet felt great!

This is a well made, comfortable shoe. Plenty of support with ample amount of heel cushioning. After reading other reviews, I ordered a half size bigger, went up a width and they fit perfect.

A very comfortable shoe that keeps you walking without the strain or tiredness you get from other "comfort" shoes.

This is truly a great shoe! I have really bad feet (very wide,diabetic, with a little gout thrown in) which is a problem as I walk 5 miles a day for exercise. I was using the Brooks Beast running shoes for several years but started getting terrible blisters even after I quit running and switched to walking at age 63. Recently switched to the Brooks Addiction Walker of same size and they absolutely feel great and blisters all have healed without interrupting my walking...and my beagle is happy to (but then he always is).
