Love these shoes. Super light, comfortable, not too fancy-looking. These are basically brown colored running shoes. Totally out-performed the outrageously priced MBT's I wasted my money on 2 years ago. The only category I can't rate yet is longevity, I think shoes at this price should last 3 to 4 years of 5 day a week wear.

In the interest of losing weight, I bought a pair of these to use on the treadmill. I am 6'3" and started off at 283 pounds. These shoes were so comfortable that I can walk for an hour a day without any ill effects; no foot soreness, no problems in the legs, hips or back. These shoes are indispensable for weight loss.

My husband says these are the best shoes he's ever owned and he is on his feet all day. However, be aware they are hard to get on and need a shoe horn.

I need a super wide shoe and needed a brown informal shoe. I hoped that I could get by with this 4E width, and as it turns out, it was as wide as any 5E I have. The other reviews were stellar on comfort, and I have to agree. Not only was this the cheapest of the last 5 pairs I have tried, but it was by far the most comfortable.

I have wide feet so I needed 4e. I also noted from other reviews to order at 1/2 size larger than my actual foot size. I ordered a size 12 4E. These fit well out of the box and were very comfortable wearing to my retail job where I'm on my feet for a full shift every day.

I absolutely have developed an "addiction" to these shoes. I have to stand all day as a clerk and they are great! I am on my fifth pair and can't recommend them enough.

I bought these and the New Balance 927 - both 9.5/M, both extremely well reviewed for walking comfort. I walk several miles a day and needed a pair of black shoes to match my uniform. The Brooks hugged and conformed to my foot without being uncomfortable. The NB was comfortable but seemed to feel flatter and wider. The NB has a much bigger toe box which may have contributed to this feeling. I am used to wearing Asics mesh running shoes and the full leather of the Brooks seems to keep my feet a bit warm - not terrible, just different. I returned the NB and kept the Brooks and have never looked back. My feet feel great after a day's work.

This is the third pair of the Addiction shoes that I have selected because they are the best in comfort and balance. They are medium weight which makes my feet feel protected from many of the irregularities of the road. They fit my feet just right I really like the way the arch of the shoe hugs my feet. And besides with a worn pair of blue jeans are all you need for a fun and comfortable California weekend. Check them out!

This is my first time ordering shoes online as it is hard to find comfortable shoes that fit. I read the reviews and took a shot at Zappos. I could not believe these shoes fit! I am definitely ordering again. The free return helped make the decision. I ordered half a size larger and am glad that I did.

Great fit, most comfortable shoe my husband has ever worn. Will order all colors. Great for EE width and very soft. Good quality.

This is my second pair of these shoes after the first pair finally gave up the ghost three years into ownership. Considering these were one of two pairs of shoes I owned they have done an outstanding job! So much so I splashed out and got a set of Brooks Joggers as well. Highly recommended.

This is a well constructed shoe, albeit heavy (1 pound, 3 oz each). It is quite comfortable and appears as if it will last a lifetime. It resembles a running shoe Brooks made that was called "The Beast."

I have a narrow B width foot and quite a high arch, but the Brooks Addiction Walker in the narrow width fills the bill nicely. It is a very comfortable, light shoe and is even a good hiking shoe in uneven natural terrain. I took the advice of one of the reviewers and get 1/2 size larger than what I normally wear and it is just right for me.

This shoe makes my husband's every step a lot better on his knees, balance, and support. The width is perfect and we really appreciate the free shipping to our front door. You rock!

These are the only shoes I wear to work. I work long shift as a nurse, and these shoes are comfortable right out of the box. they accommodate the orthotics I wear for plantar fasciitis. great shoe for those who are severe overpronators.

A very comfortable walking shoe. Too heavy to be a running shoe. (Try the Adrenalin for that.) Thankfully Zappos has it in my size and width.

With one flat foot, I have struggled for years finding any sort of relief for the constant ache of my left foot. My right foot loves any shoes at all, but the left one... ouch. Try this arch support, try this inert, try anything. Until now that is. My flat foot loves this shoe. My non-flat foot can deal with it, but oh my gosh, my forever aching left flat foot is in heaven. Whatever it is that this shoe does, it does it well. I still add in a foam insert for extra comfort, but no more pain.

This is the third pair of Addiction Walkers I have ordered from Zappos. They all have arrived sooner than expected and in perfect new condition. Besides saving some dollars from in store pricing, the quick service and great condition makes Zappos the place I love to shop for shoes. Dan S.

I have wide feet and have difficult finding shoes that are wide enough for my feet. I have owned several pair of Brooks and these are one of my most comfortable shoes I own.

This is a great shoe. It is heavy enough to have abundant support and light enough to not be burdensome on ankles and knees.

Wow, first shoe that really feels great! The size and width are consistent with New Balance sizes. I find wide shoes hard to find. The sole on this absorbs shock, gives great footing and also has room for my orthotic inserts. The leather outside is tough and attractive. I've found a tough shoe that feels great on my aching feet. Top marks on this Brooks shoe! Ordering more today.

So far (I have worn them for almost a month) these are great shoes! I replaced a set of Nikes of similar form and function. Those were terrible, after 6-9 months started to fall apart! These are built differently in that the Nike had visible air cushions that detached from the shoe (along with parts of the sole) and these are not built that way and should be more durable for walking and everyday good looks for wearing around the office. I ordered a wider size at the advise of other reviewers. One thing I have noticed with these shoes is that the laces barely have enough excess to tie without having to tighten them too snugly. But they fit fine and I would recommend these very comfortable shoes to anyone! I especially like them for work and you can get away with wearing them and even for formal events. They look fine with dress pants, tie, and sport coat. They certainly are much more comfortable than my Rockports so that is saying something!
