This is the second pair of "Brooks Addiction" that I have purchased from Zappos. My husband loves these shoes. He says they fit right and felt great right from the start, and he has trouble getting good fitting shoes. He has a narrow, thin foot. Also, I like ordering from Zappos for they are efficient and speedy and have a good price. Thanks, Zappos!

If you have narrow feet, these are the shoes for you. I wear a 13B and these are a perfect fit. They are extremely comfortable and easy on the feet whether walking or just sitting. Best fit I have found anywhere or any brand.

Bought these last December and have put over 1000 miles on them. (Typically walk over 3 miles per day to exercise with my dog.) Just getting to the point that the heel and side edge of sole are showing moderate wear. I did add another insole support to them because I could not get a 1/2 size at the time and went next size up. Was told when purchased that most walking shoes are good for 5-600 miles. Definitely got a lot more than that out of these.

Excellent fit and size. They were comfortable from day one. I bought the first pair and wore them for a month and was so satisfied I ordered a second pair!

The only shoes I own for street and exercise use are Brooks Addiction Walkers, and Brooks Addiction 9s. I have 3 pair in black of the former and 2 pair of the latter. The current model of the latter Addictions is 11. I bought the 9s on closeout. I have custom orthotics in two pairs of the Walkers, I pronate. They are the most comfortable shoes I have tried. I wear them until the soles start to lose the "waffle" and I then donate them to a local thrift shop for them to sell. I use Terrago shoe creame on the Walkers. The shoes are waterproof to begin with and the Terrago keeps the stitching sealed.

I broke this shoe in for two weeks, then walked all over Italy for two weeks while on vacation. Brought my running shoes with figuring I would need to use them for walking also. The Brooks were so comfortable I never needed the running shoes. Highly recommended for comfort.

I travel quite a bit, and end up walking a lot on sidewalks and other hard surfaces. These are the best walking shoes I have found, with nice thick soles. My feet are wide, and they have my size. Also, I don't like to much arch support. So these are very comfy. I highly recommend them.

I have a big kid, with big feet, and they are flat. Shoes have always presented a problem for us, because he often complains his feet aches or are tired, even with orthotics. It is also difficult finding a good shoe that doesn't look too "orthopedic" or geeky for a teenager. These shoes are generously proportioned, so no squeezing the toes. My 13 year old says these are the most comfortable shoes he's ever worn, and chooses them over trendier sneaker styles. These were recommended by one of your phone staff, and I am grateful. Your folks know their products!

I have worn these shoes for many years, this is my 8th pair. The toe area is generous in width and length. Very good foot support. I replace the included sole insert with my orthotic insert. The shoe is also durable.

A slightly different fit from the Addiction 9, a fraction larger. However these are sturdy, lightweight comfortable shoes that looks good for work.

This is a great shoe especially if you walk a lot and tend to suffer from pronation problems. A little spendy but well worth it. Zappos is the only way to do business!

These shoes are one of, if not the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have ever worn. I have back, hip, and knee problems and am on my feet for a large portion of the day and these help alleviate the pain. I am curious to see how long they will hold up but we are 2 months in and they are holding up strong!

This has been my go-to shoe for six years now, in both white and black. Really well made, good support, consistent construction from year to year as I rotate them out.

Finally, I found the perfect for my husband's narrow feet. He loved these shoes and loves walking in it. He used to wear New Balance 14 narrow he said it was comfortable but his feet move around in it. I bought these shoes for him and he said it was perfect. I am planning another one next payday. Thanks Brooks for making this kind of walking shoes.

I love this shoe. I ordered wide because regular size shoes are tight in my feet. The Addiction walker was comfortable right out of the box without a break in period needed. I plan to purchase another pair when this pair wears out. I have tried many casual shoes and this one has been the best.

I love these shoes and now regularly use them for work. Previously, my previous favorite work shoe was the black New Balance Walker model 926, but these shoes were discontinued and are no longer available. I did order the replacement New Balance Walker model 929 but this new model was not made anywhere near as well as the old model 926 and were also not as comfortable or supportive. I ended up returning the New Balance 929's and keeping these Brooks Addiction Walkers. I am also able to use the SuperFeet or PowerStep inserts in these shoes and both work perfectly because of the ample heel height to accommodate the thickness of the inserts. I thank to Zappo's excellent return policy, I recently ordered tested out eight (8) other pairs of athletic work shoes before concluding this was the absolutely best one available for me and my narrow width! I noticed that typically the Brook shoes receive very high customer rating, and after using these shoes for about 3 weeks now - I can understand why. Very VERY comfortable right out of the box without needing any break in period. The quality of the construction was excellent and way above what I consider to be normal quality. It seems that Brooks has chosen to make a quality shoe without resorting to the short cuts that other manufactures have chosen to save costs. I like these shoes so much that I just ordered and received a second spare pair so these shoes can be replaced when mine wear out. But, based on the apparent quality, I expect these shoes will last me at least 2 years or maybe even longer. These are really very very comfortable and supportive quality shoes that I am definitely enjoying. Richard in sunny California.

Very comfortable for all day wearing. I am a heavy guy 5' 9", 230 lbs. I wear these all day with moderate amount of walking and they are comfortable. Also wore these at a recent fair with lots of walking - very comfortable.

I ordered this pair of Brooks Addiction Walker after wearing out a pair over the last two years. They are a great walker!

This is my sixth or seventh pair of these. I have flat feet and have to wear custom orthotics in all of my shoes, except for these. I hope they never stop making these shoes.

These are the best shoes I have owned. I am on my feet all day and at the end of the day my feet feel fine. I have tried other shoes but had to come back to these.

I bought these shoes for my workouts on a treadmill where I walk at a fast pace on an incline. These shoes are great. They give great support and are very comfortable. Previously I had New Balance 608v3 and frequently after a workout my feet and knees hurt. All of that has been resolved with these shoes. I am a 55 year old man with arthritis in my knees from meniscus tears.

I walk on concrete all day, usually around 4 to 5 miles. This shoe seems to fit my needs with comfort all day long.I am curious to see how many months these shoes will last.It is my first pair.I am pleased with the wear after a few months. they are still holding up quite well.

I have a foot problem that was making walking a miserable proposition. I would finish my nightly walk hobbling. No more. These shoes are a joy to wear. I have even finished walking and then gone another round. They get my highest recommendation. They look great and feel great!

Great shoe! I do recommend you get 1 size larger than you measure because they run a size small. If you are a narrow, then be sure to get the narrow fit. This is probably the best athletic shoe on the market at this time.
