I absolutely love this shoe. Have had foot pain for years, and this was recommended by a podiatrist. This is my second pair. On average my use is over 10 miles per day walking in an eight hour shift with a lot of standing. Not sitting. No time for that. So these shoes save me. When I try to sleep I don't have to worry about throbbing pain in both feet. When I get home, my feet are absolutely fine. I love these shoes! Built very true to size, and and extremely durable under harsh conditions. I work for a major airline at a large airport in all weather. Very good in temperature extremes.

The Addiction Walker was comfortable from the first time I wore it. I have narrow feet and it was truly narrow. It is one of the best shoes I have ever purchased.

I bought the Brooks Addiction Walkers in a 13 narrow, primarily because I really needed a good supportive all-around shoe to accommodate my narrow heels and my recently fitted orthotics. They are more comfortable than my previous Rockports, my heels don't lift or squirm around thanks to the best fit I've found in a long time. I can lace them tightly, yet there is good room in the toe box. I really like them.

Talked my husband into trying these Brooks. He loves them -- says they have great support and are comfortable all day. He has now purchased this shoe in two other colors.

These are great shoes. I tried three different pairs of New Balance and none fit or felt comfortable and I have worn New Balance for years. So I tried these Brooks shoes and they were very comfortable and fit exactly as expected. Zappos' service was also excellent.

I'm a soccer referee and have given up on trying to find cleats for my big ol' feet, so I looked for a good walking/running shoe, all black with no contrasting swoosh, trim, sole, etc. This shoe rocks. The most comfort and support I've ever had in 8 years of reffing! I ordered on Tuesday, they shipped on Wednesday, arrived on Thursday, I broke them in for a day on Friday, and refereed in them Saturday and Sunday. It was a dream! I read a previous review of a repeat customer who found his China-made shoes unbearable. I don't know, mine were made in China and feel great.

I bought these for my husband who has a wide foot. He's worn Ecco in the past and I couldn't find a wide in the current Ecco styles. These fit him perfectly and are incredibly comfortable. A great shoe.

Durable, look good, long lasting and most of all comfortable. I, also, liked the friendliness, knowledge of the products and professionalism of the customer service representative.

I have worn nothing but Brooks Addiction Walkers for over 15 years. They are the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I have problematic flat feet and the Brooks shoes are a lifesaver.

Simply the best exercise/walking shoe available. This is my second pair. Relegated the last ones to the garden after four years of extensive use. The Nubuck outer can be rejuvenated time and again to make them suitable for casual dress. As usual, unbelievable fast shipping from Zappos!

This a great pair of shoes. They fit very well and feel good right out of the box. I am considering a brown pair too after wearing these black ones For the past few weeks.

I wear a size 15 and like Zappos because I can count on you to have my size and the selection is good.

I'm hard to fit (14B, and flat footed), so options are few. I've bought New Balance for years but tried these for a change. They are great! Good fit; lots of support; comfortable. Only weakness I can point to is a relative lack of grip/traction in wet conditions, but many shoes have that weakness.

Zappos is the best! You get your order in just a day or two! Excellent service! Highly recommend using them.

Have always gone back to the Brooks Addiction. The best part is stepping out my old Brooks shoe is knowing that the new pair will be just as comfortable as my old shoes. Great value for the money along with the shoe fits right in for casual dress.

These are my second pair of Addiction Walkers. Same problem as before. I take a fast walk daily on the asphalt street and the soles of my feet must be sensitive because I find the standard Addiction Walkers too firm. After 20 minutes my soles are crying uncle. But Brooks is very accommodating. By e-mailing customer service they will send out their "Ultimate Sockliners" free of charge. They are also labeled "Beast" because it is standard on their Beast running shoe. The standard sockliner pales in comparison. This one has real padding but it is thicker. So the laces have to be loosened all the way up the shoe. The end result is supreme comfort. If it weren't for this accommodation I would rate the comfort level as 2 stars. With the Ultimate Sockliner (AKA Beast) I would like to give it 10 stars.

My husband has plantar fasciitis. These shoes are more comfortable than his others. They look nice enough to wear to work. There is arch support, but we added additional support with Superfeet insoles - orange. My husband is a size 14 wide. We order the 14 extra wide and it fit's perfect.

I love these shoes. I just purchased my second pair having walked 3 million steps (via my UP band) with my first pair. These shoes are extremely comfortable and makes walking more enjoyable (less foot pain -- blisters, etc.). I also like the all black look.

New Balance finally has a contender in the Brooks Addiction Walker. I have found that I have to buy a width one size up but overall the Walker lasts longer than the 928. I have bought two pairs and rotated them about midday. They work great as I am on my feet for over 14 hours a day. I have inserts that fit great, too. But the name "Addiction" is out of place.

My black Addiction Walkers have been my go-to shoe for two years. My husband has an identical pair. I decided to expand my selection by adding the brown ones - I only wish they came in brown leather (as opposed to nubuck) so that I could routinely wear them in the rain we have in the Northwest fall and winter. Other colors would be great, too - I would buy them all! Having old feet, I am happy with their 2E width and roomy toebox. There is plenty of room for orthotics and they are very supportive. Oh...and they are very good-looking! I'll probably buy a replacement black pair before next winter.

These are our favorite ready to wear shoes. bought these for my husband after his Physical Therapist recommended them and they are wonderful. No need to break them in and his feet do not hurt. They have held up great and have not broke down as other well named brand shoes have. Worth the money and can not beat the comfort in our opinion.

The Brooks Addiction Walker is the most comfortable walking shoe I have ever worn. The size is true, and the quality is outstanding. Buying them from Zappos was a great experience. What a fantastic company!!!

This is the first time I've bought a Brooks shoe and also is the first time I ordered a size 12 shoe. Having had plantar fasciitis, I use arch supports, and the previous size 11 New Balance shoes were too short. I am pleased with the appearance and the fit of Brooks; they seem to be a well-built shoe.

I've been ordering these shoes for about 10 years when I first started having bouts of plantar fasciitis. They absolutely solved my problem. I change them every year and have a set of white ones also. Zappos shipping is the best! One good tip, the Heel Lite Orthotics from Ortho-Dynamics are the best and have saved me hundreds of dollars. They are not custom made but they are made by a company that makes high quality ready orthotics. I add the extra arch support which they wisely advised me to get. I do alternate with Superfeet sometimes which are also good. I do not work for the company but I believe in their orthotics which I also change once a year. They are a little expensive but it's your feet, legs and back that will love you!

These shoes were recommended by my Podiatrist. The fit and comfort are just what I need to support my active lifestyle. The shoes are lightweight and have the stability to provide my feet with the secure feeling they need.
