This is the fourth time I have bought this shoes for my husband. He works in the hospital, most of the time he is standing, walking, going up the stairs, etc. He likes this shoes, because he can wear them for over 10 hours, and his feet doesn't hurt.

I just had achilles tendon surgery in March and walking is extremely difficult and painful right now with standard gym shoes. I read the reviews on these shoes and all I can say is "Thank God." I can walk with a lot more ease and comfort now. Looks like I'm going to get another pair. I did get half a size larger and one full size wider as others said in their reviews. They fit great. My wife is getting a pair for her, too!

I ordered the wrong size, but this wasn't a big problem. Zappos sent out a replacement immediately and I had them in two days, even before I had returned the originals. First class service. The arch support could be better, but I do have plantar fasciitis.

Great shoe -- wish it was cheaper! This is a fine shoe, well made, and perfect for walking. Definitely a step up (no pun intended) from the New Balance MW577. Of course, the Brooks Addition Walker is a more expensive shoe, so you /should/ get more. That's not always the case, but it is the case here. I just wish it were only a little more expensive than the New Balance.

I have severe knee problems and the Brooks Walker is the best shoe I have ever had. I am on my 4th pair and highly recommend them. Also Zappos has the very best customer service. Easy to get ahold of and very helpful!

If you are looking for shoes to wow the fashionistas, you will probably want to pass on these, but if you are looking for serious comfort, you have found your shoes. They appear to be very well made, but they also seem to run a little small - I had to go with half a size larger.

Love these shoes. The fit is perfect and the comfort level is wonderful. Also, they look great with business casual clothes. It's hard to find shoes that fit so well with my foot problems. Zappos comes through again. Thanks, Zappos. Would definitely buy them again.

I'm pleased with my first pair of Addction Walker. Better than I was expecting. Better than the expensive NB walker's that I've been wearing. I plan to buy more from Brooks.

VERY comfortable shoe! As a letter carrier for the USPS, I'm running and moving all day. Typically, I never wear the same pair of shoes two days in a row, but since getting these, they are all I wear, everyday. They are holding up very well. Anyone on their feet all day should be wearing these shoes!

Perfect for what they are represented to be. I wear an odd size, 12B, and my left foot is shorter than my right. In addition, I have flat and bony feet. I am a runner (3+ miles) and on the days I don't run, I often walk (1+ miles). These shoes are so comfortable and properly fitting as to not be believed! Even better than my New Balance and Nike running shoes.

Very comfortable with excellent support especially where there is pronation. In order to achieve that good support you need to tighten the laces securely. This means working your way up to tighten through the upper four sections. If the laces remain somewhat loose with one tightening, do it again. There are a lot of lace holes and you need to loosen the upper four lace sections in order to get the shoes on or off. A shoehorn is a great help for getting them on. The shoe length runs small. You will probably need a half size larger than your normal length. I use full length Spenco RX Arch Cushions added to what the shoes come with. They are all foam. The result is an amazing cushioned walk with great arch support. With a good cream shoe polish the shoes take a reasonable shine. I wear them for business.

My husband is 77 years young. He has always worn loafers. I noticed he was starting to shuffle a bit when he walked. He doesn't shuffle anymore. His walking stride is back to normal and he loves his new shoes. No more complaining about sore feet.

After living in Hawaii for 12 years and never wearing anything but sandals my feet have gotten wider and most closed shoes are too tight. These shoes fit the best of all I've tried. I can walked for miles in them with no discomfort. Happy to have them.

I walk for exercise. I'd been walking in running shoes and started having tendon soreness in my ankle. I decided to try these and the ankle issues have gone away. I am a serious over-pronation and these have definitely corrected that. Very comfortable. However, they do not allow foot to breathe.

Very nice shoe. Making a change from my usual New Balance because my old style is no longer available. These are for walking and general use, and are working very well. Not as cushy on the inside as some, but comfortable and seem well constructed.

This shoes is very comfortable. I wear a size 13 4E, wear custom orthotics and find that Brooks shoes fit me perfectly every time.

My husband wears Brooks running shoes 24/7 but needed a pair of black shoes his new job. I found the Addiction Walkers for him. They are very comfortable with great support. His is on his feet up to 12-14 hours and no longer comes home with sore feet.

I am on pair #8+ of this particular shoe and find them to be extremely comfortable, a stable platform with minimal narrowing of the sole at the arches. They were recommended to me by a Professional Shoe Fitter to address issues with foot paint. I have tried several other brands/styles but none compare no matter the price. These are worth every penny.

Hubby's new favorite shoes! He had me order each color. They have great support and look nice.

I have purchased about a half-dozen pairs of Addiction Walkers over the last 4-5 years. I tend to alternate days walking and running/walking and use the AWs for the former. (They are OK for running too, but there are better, lighter choices for that.) The shoes are very comfortable and durable, and they provide great support. I average over 6 miles a day on greenways and streets, and I happily recommend AWs for anyone looking for an excellent walking shoe.

I researched several different shoes on Zappos before settling on the Addictions. I have owned the Brooks Beast for several years but felt I wanted something with a little more cushion and also something that I could wear anywhere without the flashy running shoe look. I chose the black model and couldn't be happier with looks and, more importantly, the cushion and support. I have knee and ankle issues and even the Brooks Beast left both sore after a two mile walk. The Addiction walkers are fantastic! No knee or ankle pain from my first walk and since. I wear them all day and can't tell you how happy I am with this purchase. I highly recommend the Addiction if you have joint pain in your legs. The fit and finish is top notch.

Fits great and provides lots of support. It has ample room for my orthotics once the foam inserts are removed. This particular model was recommended by my podiatrist. The solid black look is sufficient for daily business wear.

A very comfortable shoe for the moderate walker. The shoes felt good from day one and i am considering buying a second pair in a different color.

My shoe size is 9 1/2 4E. Because I use arch support orthotic insoles, I ordered size 10 4E in black. It is the most comfortable shoe I have ever (and I mean ever) worn. I then ordered the the same size in brown. Not only does the Brooks Addiction Walker feel great it looks great. I wear a suit to work every day. My dress wingtips are now a thing of the past. The brown and the black Walkers are the only shoes I now wear. This is an amazing shoe!
