My husband loves these shoes. His doctor suggested them and after trying New Balance again he is back to Brooks. He has a great deal of foot pain and these as the most comfortable shoes for the price.

I had a minor problem with a loose toe-kick. Zappos had no problem with the return and sent me a new pair within a couple of days. The shoes are comfortable and feel sturdy. They weren't cheap but should hold up for quite awhile.

I am in a new job, walking 3.5 to 5.5 miles a day. I bought a pair of the Brooks Addition Walkers, & within a few weeks, bought a 2nd pair. IMO this shoe is the best I have had for comfort & support. The fit was spot-on. I may get a 3rd pair to put in rotation!

I need an all black, extra wide, very comfortable shoe. This is the best one I found. I bought the 11.5 4E-Extra wide. It is well made and sturdy, but also very comfortable. Although style did not really matter to me, it looks great too. Add in Zappos excellent service -- I am more pleased with this shoe purchase than any other. In my search for the shoe I needed, I either returned or tried for several weeks 3 other brands before deciding to give these Brooks a try in "might-as-well-try-these-too category." Thanks Brooks.

I have been buying these shoes for 12 years. They are the only shoes I can find that don't hurt my feet, having foot problems, ankle surgery and wide feet.

As someone with a narrow foot, I was looking for a non-running shoe that I could wear with nice casual clothes. While I would have liked a lighter brown, this shoe seems to fit the bill. I removed the insole that came with it and substituted my orthotic and things seemed to be going pretty well after a few hours of wear. It is light and seems to be well-made. I had a very good shopping experience with Zappos.

This site is the best working wear that we have ever had. It is true to size and is comfortable on the feet. It can be worn all day while working and my feet are not tired at then end of the day. It lasts the longest of any shoes that I have worn, and I always buy the same style when needed.

I wore these same shoes years ago, as well as the brown model, when I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. It was a long recovery, but these shoes provided welcome relief. Recently I began feeling heel pain in one foot, and decided it was time to try the Addiction Walker again. Compared to any of my other shoes, the difference is dramatic. My pain has subsided in a relatively short amount of time. The pain is now almost gone. Wearing them is not the most fashion forward statement, but well worth the trade-off.

Great shoes for exercise or everyday use. Very very comfortable. Personally, using at work everyday. I have wide foot, took regular shoes and it fits perfectly. Highly recommend for people with wide feet or who has orthopedic probs.

A remarkably comfortable shoe ideal for anyone who works on their feet. I had been wearing various New Balance models, and there is nothing that compares to the support, cushioning and stability. Yes, these are pricey, but if you love your feet, they are worth the investment.

Very good shoe for wide flat feet. Bought it in 4E which fit his feet very well and shoes were comfortable right out of the box. No blisters like he usually gets from new shoes until they break in. He's very happy.

This shoe was recommended to me by my podiatrist. Great support, lightweight & very comfortable. I order a size 13 narrow & it's a true B-width. Great shoe!

So far so good. My only issue is that the arch support is symmetrical, it seems, so that the outer foot has pressure on it, which doesn't feel great for standing or walking, but it may wear down. Otherwise, they fit true to size, are good for wide feet, and seem sturdy.

I have had two bad knees since the mid 1970's when they were injured playing sports. Now with both knees having been replaced, I want them (the knee replacements) to last a long time. The Brooks Addiction Walker will help in that regard... I am a big guy, (over 250 lbs.) but with these shoes, I feel like I am walking on the clouds. They have great shock absorption and the shoe wears well. It is a durable show as well!

Lightweight yet good support, these "slightly better looking than sneakers" shoes are perfect for long walking situations. I use them to teach in when I'm on my feet all day and from day #1 they have been terrific.

Very comfortable; simple, aesthetically pleasing design. A bit stiff and unyielding getting them on, but this is a minor inconvenience.

This is a great shoe for my husband, who has extremely flat feet. They are very supportive, and he is very pleased with them. I thank Zappos for their quick service, and having such a great selection of shoes for the entire family. We all seem to have health issues with our feet, and Zappos is there to help us make the correct choices. We are very happy with this purchase.

These are extremely comfortable shoes. Undoubtably the best I/ve ever owned. I have a pair for town and a pair for work.. All my feet problems disappeared when I changed to these. The wear out time is about that of my rock port world classic tour shoes. I'm a very active person, usually doing about 8000-10,000 steps each day. I really enjoy buying them from Zappos. They have very reliable and fast delivery.

Recommended by my foot doctor. Great shoes. Not cheap, but worth it. Sized perfectly. Would buy them again. Fast turnaround by Zappos. No shipping and free returns convinced me to order shoes online for first time. I'm a fan!

I'm an avid walker - thanks to my Cairn Terrier. I've found the Brooks walker the best walking shoe I've had in the past 5 years.

I have been using these as my go-to walking and working shoes for the past seven years or so. I usually alternate between these and the Asics Gel Walker. They are not stylish as a work shoe for professional environment - but they are black and nice enough to be worn in a professional environment. They are extremely comfortable and provide great support. They are a bit heavy, though.

These shoes like all the Brooks bought in the past are very comfortable and more important for a 6'3" 280lb guy they fit my orthotics and have great stability!

My husband has flat feet and a Morton's neuroma and this shoe is his perfect shoe. We have tried many others. The wide toe box is great for a Morton's neuroma.

Well made and durable, have been wearing these for a year or two holding up nicely, easy to care for and a good all around casual/work shoe. My only negative is they seem to be a bit too rigid for me, kind of stiff in in the arch, I really prefer a more flexible sole. However this "stiffness" gives the shoe good stability and an overall confident stable footing.

This is my first purchase from Zappos and I am very pleased. The shippimg was lightning fast, the merchandise was exactly as advertised and cheaper than anywhere else. It looks like I have found my one and only place for purchasing footware.
