Just bought a black pair of Brooks Addiction Walker and was amazed that they felt immediately comfortable. Have worn them on several occasions and they are exactly what I had in mind for being on your feet for multiple hours at a time. The only negative is that they are really unattractive shoes. So I guess you give up looks for comfort!

Last minute trip to Huatulco Mexico...no spring shoes or summer sandals in the pipeline...winter/spring is always a bear on the Cape because it doesn't know what it is. Zappos to the rescue with the Addiction Walker. Great fit-= comfortable walking, firm and stylish! 9.5 size is not easy some times- No problem with this one!

The Brooks Addiction Walker is everything that is advertised. They are immediately comfortable and their fit is true. I am already contemplating the purchase of a second pair. I highly recommend these shoes.

I have these in size 15. I find them very comfortable and supportive. They are several years old and are holding up very well. I wear them three days a week.

The secret to getting the right size: I think if your big toes are average size and curved normally inward, then you can order your usual length and width. However, if--like me--you have a large and square big toe, then you may be better off ordering 1/2 size longer and a size wider--that's what worked for me after trying three different length/width combinations.

I took the counsel of others and bought this a size larger in length and width. Good move. Now I say this is a great walking shoe; as good as my Asics Kayanos. Bought them before going to New Zealand and couldn't have been happier.

This is my third pair of these shoes (Brooks Addiction Walker) and hands down it is the best fitting and best all around supported shoe that I have ever worn. If you are even thinking about buying it, get it, you will not be sorry.

I wanted an extremely comfortable pair of shoes for long walking/shopping excursions and after a bit of research arrived at the Brooks Addiction Walker. I'm very glad I decided to give them a shot! They are super supportive, comfy and solid feeling. They are rather bulky compared to my running shoes so walking briskly takes a bit getting used to, but totally worth the investment. Love them so far.

If you gotta have black leather shoes for work and you need arch support and your on your feet and walking all day, this is the best choice available! I walk 6-11 miles at work every day and these are a lifesaver!

This is a great looking shoe, smart and well made. It is very narrow, bit too much for me but I recommend that you try it. Length is great.

My husband has been wearing this brand, style for years because he needs the wide width and the good support. He is in his 80th year and is an active walker. His knees were both replaced more that 18 years ago, and still he is able to walk all over the town several days a week because he has these good supportive shoes.

I have a very wide foot, 6E if I can get 'em. These are a bit snug at 4E, but are soft enough to spread a little. I used to get New Balance, but they have changed styles and quality. So far I'm very happy with the Brooks.

One of the few brands available in "B" width. Fits great and looks good for semi-casual use. Probably not suitable for running or muddy conditions.

This is my third pair. I keep buying the same ones because they are that good. Nice to have such a high quality option for my narrow feet.

I normally do not get excited about leaving reviews for shoes, but these shoes are awesome. First of all, I am a big guy, and when you wear size 15 shoes, you often do not get much choice. I am delighted that Brooks makes shoes in larger sizes. First of all, these are super comfortable, and have great arch support. They are probably the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. I bought the brown version of these shoes, and I have been wearing them with business casual clothes, such as khaki pants and a polo shirt, and they do not look weird. They probably would not win me any fashion awards, but they do not stand out from across the room like regular athletic shoes. I can definitely say that I will be buying these shoes again, once I wear this pair out.

These are nice shoes. I am a teacher and stand many hours each day. Very comfortable. The brown color also looks fine with my casual dress pants. I have wide feet and the wide version felt perfect.

These are structurally wonderful walking shoes. They provide total stability where there are no pinch points. Over the past eight months I have lost over 40 pounds due to the comfort of these walkers allowing me around 7 miles per day of walking. The wear out is about 550 miles for me before replacement.

I bought several pair of Brooks from Zappos. I tried the Addition in brown and it quickly became my favorite shoe. I walk about 10 miles per day at work and this shoe was a lifesaver. I am ordering the black today!

Very nice fit for my 2E feet. Soles seem to align you feet straight and super comfy to walk in. The day I got mine, I ordered another pair for work. Careful on tile floor because the "grippage" of the sole is bad on wet tile. Otherwise this is a great shoe.

These are amazing shoes. Great arch support combined with durability and style. Basic black works well for any casual occasion. This was hubby's fourth pair. Just hope they keep making these for many more years.

I have worn the Brooks Addiction Walkers for many, many years. I suffer from pronation and the Addiction provides necessary support and stability I need. No other brand has been able to consistently serve my needs. I hope they keep making them forever.

Very comfortable fit, nice support on the ankles, the inserts are decent, not the best, but OK. Overall very good shoes!

Great work shoe for someone on his feet all day. Second time we purchased this exact product; lasted several years.

Great shoes. Better than my last set of Brooks. They accommodate my orthotics nicely.

This is the second pair of these shoes I bought and I love them. They are true to fit. I have a narrow foot and it's hard to find comfortable shoes to wear and these are them. Highly recommended.
