I have narrow and flat, hard to fit feet. After trying several brands of walking shoes (and sending them back) I settled on the Brooks Addiction Walker. It was comfortable right out of the box and works well wth my orthotics. Seems well made and should last awhile.

This is the best shoe I have ever worn. I am 65 years old with plantar fasciitis and a job that keeps me on my feet for hours. (And two labs who like long walks.) Comfortable right out of the box. No breaking in. True to size and width. Most important—I am now 99.9% pain-free even after a long day. I even threw my orthotic inserts away. Bonus: These look like ordinary running shoes—no "old-guy-orthotic" look for me. I cannot recommend these highly enough!! Let me also add a thank you to the Zappos live chat woman who found these for me!

I have ordered and tried out a few good reviewed brands for walking shoes. I now own 2 pairs of Brooks. Had a hip replacement 2002 so need a good shoe for serious exercise walking. Brooks are the best I have found. Downside price.

Zappos a great place to find the shoe that fits you when no one else seems to have your size. Sneaker was little faded white to the lower white portion of the sneaker but this would not affect my walking.

Fit like a glove. After a couple of short walks these shoes have become the most comfortable walking shoes I haves ever had. Great support and seems to keep my feet aligned. Would recommend these especially if you have narrow feet.

A great shoe. I have peroneal tendonitis and needed a support shoe that would allow me to remain active. I did not want the standard gaudy athletic shoe with wild colors and prominent logos. The Addiction Walker was perfect for me. I'm more stable with less pain. I liked the shoe so much that I bought a second pair, first brown then black.

My 3rd pair in 2 colors. Comfortable shoe with excellent support. I wear this shoe as all-purpose-- looks good enough for near-semi-formal, good support for walking and mild exercise, and water resistant.

The shoe feels great now that I exchanged for a half size bigger. The best part was Zappos return & exchange. Even got to use the discount on the new pair.

I run a gardening business and do a lot of the physical labor myself. I've gone through hiking boots, work boots, workout shoes of various brands and nothing has kept my feet from killing me by the end of the day. I apparently have worn shoes too narrow and short for some time now and the results is a bone spur or something on the side of foot below small toe. This shoe solved my problems. Comfortable, solid footing, and no pain at end of the day.

I have been wearing the Brooks 12 Mesh shoe. These feel a bit wider that the mesh which I am glad to have.Very nice fit. I have never been treated better nor have received better help or personal care from any shoe company. Zappos is a gift from above to me!

Zappos is fantastic! So are Brooks Addiction walker shoes. I add stretch shoelaces so I can slip them on since I'm physically unable to tie shoelaces. I have a spinal injury and these shoes help keep me walking. They never need breaking in and give me perfect support.

After quite a search for narrow walking shoes, I was really pleased to find these shoes in my size - I ordered both white and black pairs.

Very good shoe. Durable. Tend to run a little short in length. My usual size 12, this shoe requires 12.5. Most important they come in narrow width sizes. In my opinion, good style.

Bought this shoe due to pain in the ball of my right foot. I walk our dog for 45 to 60 minutes most days. The pain is lessened while wearing the Brooks.

Love these shoes. I have one of each color and just re-ordered the black. I never worry about choosing the wrong size, they have all fit the same. I use an additional arch support in mine and it fits fine. I wish they made it in a gray color.

Zappos is a great online resource! My husband and I can order shoes we already know we want, or try on pairs that we're not sure about—and no shipping charges. A reasonable alternative to traditional shoe shopping! Go Zappos!!!

First, been wearing these about one full year; have two pair. Wear nearly every day. Started having major foot problems last couple of years: Tailor's bunion and bursa at outside of foot/small toe joint...horrible; bursa puts pressure on other internal muscles/tendons and causes pain to radiate through leg into knee! Near crippling. Tried several different shoes and sizes. I've liked this one the best. I would plan on ordering a full size larger and wider if I were you. I did insert my insoles on top of the ones in the shoes. I think in the past I chose shoes too small and it caused my Tailor's bunion issue; really. Very well built shoe compared to the NB ones I ordered. Have a well built feel to them in my opinion. NB feel cheap in my opinion. Speaking of price: if you are having foot problems, spend a bit more for shoes: it may help. Some complain about the price of shoes, but cheap shoes are typically hard on the feet or damage feet. I will warn you about two things: first, all leather construction...hotter than some shoes. Biggest warning I want to share; the composition of the soles is a rubber that is very, very tricky on wet surfaces; MY experience. Had a bad fall in the subway down a flight of stone stairs...could have ended up with a broken leg. Had another near bad fall on another wet stone surface. It's the composition of the rubber; slippery on wet surfaces. Everything seems fine and then ka-zing! Like being on ice! All in all though I prefer these and choose them over others, but you really have to be careful on wet surfaces and be cognizant of this factor.

If you ever wondered what real support in a shoe really means, then try these. Had so many problems finding a good pair and knowing with Zappos you can return them hassle-free it's a no-lose project. Front of the foot (ball), full arch, and heel, the minute I put them on I could tell they were comprehensively great and after a few hours of wearing them, the ills of previous bad support from my other shoes disappeared. What a big difference. With these on, standing on my feet for 8 hours will be a far more comfortable undertaking than previously.

Great shoe. I had been wearing Beasts, but the Addiction is just as comfortable and supportive, better looking, and cheaper. I use custom orthotics in the shoe.

My husband has worn this shoe for many years, they give his flat feet excellent support, good space in toe box area.

These are excellent shoes. They are very comfortable and flexible, just what'd you'd expect for a good walking shoe. One tiny problem (but not enough for me to give them a lower mark) is that the laces aren't long enough to use all the holes but even if you lace them up a couple of holes short of the maximum possible, they work just fine.

I like these shoes so comfortable, I love such a nice shoe all leather , feels like the best shoes I ever purchased if you have trouble you trouble with your feet. I recommend these, just try a pair today term price is worth every penny when I save enough I will be buying another pair.
