These shoes are what I have been trying to find for my husband. He has flat feet and wears a 13 wide. We have spent a fortune trying to find a shoe that is comfortable enough for him to wear all day. This Books Addiction Walker is wonderful!!!

This is the walking shoe that works best for me. The shoe is comfortably wide for my normal width feet. It has great stability side to side. Good cushioning. It will easily take an orthotic. It polishes well so you can wear it to work.

Really haven't worn these enough for a thorough review but... I bought these 1/2 size larger than my New Balance 840W's. I immediately noticed more arch support and a more cushioned feel. I walk 4 1/2 miles every other day but have only worn these indoors just in case I want to return them. The construction looks good and I would expect them to last at least if not longer than the NB's..If possible I will modify this review when I have some wear on these shoes. Wish that this shoe as well as other "walkers came with mesh uppers. I really dislike white leather for a variety of reasons.

My husband LOVES these Brooks shoes...he uses black color for field work and tan for dress. He has bad knees and can't wear heavy shoes. These are so comfortable. We even have our Brother in Law ordering them for his electrical work because of his knee problem! Cindy

These shoes aren't exactly attractive but they are excellent walking shoes with a ton of support. I got these for my husband, he goes through a pair every year, we'll order a 3rd pair soon. He over pronates and these really correct that and he walks more straight. Excellent walking shoes!

My husband has to both look professional and walk through construction sites. These allow him to do both.

The reason I said no arch support is because I use my own orthotics so have to remove the ones in shoes. These shoes are very comfortable. This is my second pair. I have a troublesome back and these shoes are outstanding for comfort. The thick soles allow me to walk on hard surfaces without discomfort. Strongy recommend. A perfect fit for me.

I absolutely love these shoes. Lots of cushion and good arch support. I am a student nurse and work 10 hours on my feet 3x/week. These shoes are so comfortable, that I forget that I am wearing them. 5 stars!

I have had a couple pair of these. First they were my work shoes, then they became my dog walking shoes. Mine lasted a really long time, and they were comfortable right up until I wore holes in them. Really a wonderful shoe if your on your feet all day! They are kind of ugly. They have raised the price since my last purchase.

I bought these shoes for my husband. He had this exact pair previously and adored them. He is a music teacher and on his feet all day. These shoes offer great support and look decent with casual dress pants.

These are very well-made, excellent walkers. They are ugly as sin though. Just be aware that if you have a wife or daughter, they will mock you ruthlessly for wearing these. I have had them for a year or two, so this review is based on good experience.

My husband has flat feet and a Mortons neuroma (you know it if you have it) and THESE shoes are the best. The wide toe box takes care of the neuroma. At a recent podiatrist visit for his flat feet, she commented that she is so glad that he is already wearing great shoes and just added a drugstore orthotic. I think these shoes saved us about $300 dollars! He loves them. I order two pairs at a time now. They are ALL he will wear.

I own several Brooks Addiction shoes including 2 Brooks Addiction shoes. They are very stylish. As a tall and heavy person, I love them because they are very comfortable and supportive.

These are my favorite Brooks walking shoe. Super comfy and look great.

I've never owned a pair of Brooks before but I'm so satisfied with the shoe's comfort that Brooks will be my go to shoe from now on. I walked on Rockports for 15+ years but they can't hold a candle my new Brooks. Want a comfortable shoe? Buy these.

This is my third pair. I buy them because the are pretty much sneakers that look enough like work shoes that I get away with wearing them. They get excellent traction on smooth metal surfaces at a 30-45 degree incline even when the metal is waxed. (I work at a large shipping company) I am mostly flat footed and have wide toes. I can not go by the shoe measuring device for size due to my weird feet. Going up a size with most shoes, especially the ones at the _mart stores, is still painful just trying them on. Brooks feel good when I go up a size. There are 4 problems with these shoes: 1- the toe bumper, I believe it is called, came unglued within a couple weeks on the first 2 pairs. Do not cut off, try using shoe goo to fix. Cutting it off is a bit of a tripping hazard and speeds up the sole coming unglued. 2- even though they do not feel tight my wide toes break the stitching on the outside 3- they only last me about 9 months before my ankles get sore from the soles wearing out 4- the soles come unglued after about 6-9 months. A lot of money for 9 months use, but I keep coming back

I've worn Brooks shoes for years because of how comfortable they are and because they have great support for wider feet. I bought this pair because it looked more stylish than the more athletic Brooks shoes I've purchased in the past. This pair didn't let me down; they fit great and my girlfriend really likes how professional they look.

Great shoe! I have very flat feet, and this is one of the few shoes I can wear all day and is comfortable.

These are my everyday go-to shoes -- durable enough for hiking and classy enough to wear to a concert. I buy a new pair every couple of years and the old pair becomes work shoes. About a decade ago, I got plantar fasciitis in one foot. The podiatrist said I could get expensive insoles, or try these Brooks shoes, which helped me heal pretty quickly. I'm also a fan of the Brooks Beast running shoes.
