my husband got a recommendation for this shoe from his Podiatrist. That was a few years ago, ever since then, that is the only shoes he buys. He said they are so comfortable.

Light weight, great support, stylish and fit to size. Very pleased.

These shoes are excellent for me, I have plantar fascitis and they are the only work and walking shoes that seem to alleviate my symptoms. Interestingly I have a fairly new pair of Books Addition 12 running shoes, which I also love, but they are not as supportive. I also wear orthotics and these shoes are very amenable to them. For those who have flat arches and have inflamed plantar fascia, these are excellent. Unfortunately - and no surprise here - they are not the most stylish. But comfort and painlessness are more important than style. You are going to be hard-pressed to find a more supportive walking shoe appropriate for work. I will say that while I love the leather, it does tend to "relax" with frequent shoe wear, and hence the support tends to become less effective over time. I recommend replacing these every 8-12 months if you will be using them daily (even though my last pair before I bought this one still looked pretty "new", I really noticed the difference after buying a new pair). The shoe loses it's stiffness considerably over time.

This shoe lasts me several years of frequent use. You can wear it with jeans and with somewhat dressier pants.

This is my 5th pair of Brooks Addiction Walkers which includes the brown nubuck, the gray cloth, and 3 white pair. I switched to Brooks brand when New Balance discontinued their line for over pronation. The pronation bar makes my orthodics more effective in positioning the foot where it should be. I highly recommend this shoe for fit and comfort.

Extremely comfortable. Perfect fit. I walk an hour plus every day and am very happy with these shoes.

Got these shoes for my husband, who is very hard to fit and particular about his shoes. He declared that these were the most comfortable shoes he's had in a very long time, and, in fact, is thinking about getting a back-up pair. They may be more pricey than a lot of other shoes, but, as far as we are concerned, are well worth the price.

I read ahead of time that these run a half size small so I've always taken that into account when ordering these shoes. I really like these shoes. Over the past year I've purchased all 3 colors. They make my feet feel good and this brand was recommended by my podiatrist. The black and white ones are leather while the brown ones are a brushed suede.

Well I have had this shoe for about two months now. I`m very happy with the comfort of the shoe. The only bad thing is that the rubber in the front did come loose, but i glue it back together. Other than that I`m very happy. And yes I would buy them again.

I purchase these for my husband. It is the only shoe he will wear!

Finally, a shoe that works! My left foot rolls to the inside terribly. On my last several pairs of shoes, the inside tread has worn down nearly half an inch and my back and knees hurt constantly. Within just a few days wearing these, my back an knees feel so much better, and I'm not nearly as stiff as before! I'd buy a new pair of these shoes every few months if I have to, because they feel so good!

The Brooks Addiction Walker has been my every day shoe for many years now. It is a dependable style with good comfort and support. It is great to find a company that has a great product and does not change or discontinue it. Thanks Brooks

Have been buying these shoes for years. My feet are very hard to fit and these are one of the few shoes I can wear comfortably.

This is my second pair of these shoes. The first is approximately 3 years old and still more comfortable than shoes I bought locally 4 months ago. I am difficult to fit since one foot is smaller and both feet are narrow. These are extremely comfortable and perform well on my 3 to 4 mile brisk walk each morning. I also love the Zappos service. I originally ordered the wrong size. Within two days I had the correct size and a prepaid shipping label to return the incorrect pair.

Zappos always has my shoes. I received free next day shipping for downloading the app on android. I have used them in the past. I really like their store. Highly recommend them.

My job requires to stand/walk/move all day so I started looking for a pair of shoes that would support my feet for 8-12 hours. Being overweight, knockkneed and flat footed wasn't helping me either. I noticed this brown pair of Brooks Addiction Walkers on my pedorthist so I asked and he highly recommended them about 5 years back. I've been enjoying pain free walking since. They are intelligently design, comfortable and functional because I also use a custom orthotic insert in them too. They last me a good 6-12 months before I need to replace so usually I'll buy one in brown and another in black to go with different slacks. Very pleased with the price, quality and comfort these shoes provide. They look good with jeans and khakis.

This is a well-made walker shoe with good support and comfort for all day use. This is my 4th pair. I did learn the "normal" width version required me to order a longer size with excessive toe room so I switched to the "wide" version in my normal length and it fit perfectly.

Love them! First in nubuck. Used for several years now. More comfy to me than the tennis shoes.

Highly recommend these walking shoes. No break in required. Felt great from the first time I put them on.

Although color is listed as White, it is actually off-white (or bone). It was also narrower than I expected for a 4E. On the other hand, Zappos was GREAT about returning the shoes.

This is the only shoe that has enough stability and support to keep my ankle from swelling up it is a great show! I bought this shoe in mens even though I am a woman because they tend to be a bit lighter it is a perfect fit men's 8 equals women's 10
