These shoes do have a strong, offensive smell. Additionally, the heels are too narrow for my 14 year old. Otherwise, they are pretty but more appropriate looking for an adult than a young teen. We are returning them, though, for the first 2 reasons.

I thought these shoes were a nice cross between cute and professional. Also, a great heel height. But they had a very strong smell of shoe polish or some other petroleum-like substance. So strong it filled the room and I knew I didn't want to risk walking around with that smell trailing me along.

I usually wear a size 6 M and my toe touched the end of these shoes. The toe box is quite short so perhaps this style just doesn't work for my feet.

I love the style of this shoe and it is really comfortable - enough of a heel to look cute, but still easy to wear and walk around the city. As others have mentioned, the sole of the shoe did smell at first, but it went away within a day. Unfortunately, the quality is very poor. I got these in October, and within 2 months of normal use (wearing about 1-2x/week) the leather on the buttons had rubbed off on both shoes, and the sole of the shoe is starting to come away from the toe on one of the shoes. I'm pretty careful with my shoes (I've had most for years without needing any repair except for an occasional new heel tip), so this is very disappointing.

Heels on these shoes seem to be slightly misplaced. My foot wanted to pitch inward. The material also smelled strongly of chemicals. I gave it 2 stars because it's a very cute-looking shoe.

I was excited to get these shoes for work but was only met with disappointment. I wear size 8 but found these too tight. I usually try on shoes at the end of the day since that would be the best indicator as to what my feet would be like if I had the shoes on all day. For me they were tight all over and my toes were at the tip of the shoes. I probably could go for a size 8½ but I find that if I go half a size up I tend to slip off at heels and end up gripping my shoes with my toes further aggravating my plantar faciitis. I am returning them.

The shoes are very comfortable - unfortunately the red they show online in the images is NOT the same red that you end up receiving. Mine arrived today and I have to return them! Rather than a patent leather red, they're more of deep burgandy - almost maroon. Very disappointed.

I bought these shoes to wear as a bridesmaid. They were perfect color and heel height, and comfortable when I first put them on. Within 15 minutes, however, the seam on the side of the heels tore terrible blisters in the side of my foot - and I still had to wear them for the rest of the wedding! And of course because I wore them, I can't return them. Very disappointing because they are super cute, comfortable in every other way, but the seam on the side of the heel is in the worst place, and makes a bump that rubs my foot raw. I haven't had the heart to get rid of them yet, but I will.

I ordered these because I wanted another pair of heels this height for teaching. I was disappointed when I received them for several reasons; they run bigger (so order down), there is no cushion/support, and it was tough to squeeze my foot under the strap even though they were too big for me! Unlike other reviewers, I did not notice any problem with smell, they smell like leather shoes. Overall, I was very disappointed.

This is a really cute shoe. It's comfortable and fits well. I wish I could have kept them but had to return them because the man made sole is attached with an adhesive that had a very strong chemical odor. The smell didn't go away even after two weeks.

I ordered the purple thinking it would be as dark as the purple of the photo. It is unfortunately a much pinker color and instead of looking like patent it looks very plasticky. Very disappointed.

What a cheap shoe. The quality is like a shoe you could get at Walmart for $15 bucks. I originally tried this shoe because I liked the low heel, and the cute strap, but the shoe is poorly made. I tried them on for a few minutes before I decided they were not worth the price. The leather is cheap and the sole of the shoe is flimsy. I really wanted to like these, but when I saw them in person I promptly changed my mind.

Disappointed. A super cute style and the fit was very good with a roomy toe box. The only problem is the color. It looks navy online, but it is a brighter blue and looks like plastic--almost like a dance or costume shoe that one would wear on stage.

I wish I had listed to the other reviewers. The chemical smell carried by these shoes made them unwearable, even after airing them out overnight. It's a shame because the color and style is very cute, but these are going back.

These shoes are cute and comfortable - I ordered a pair in purple patent and loved them, then ordered a pair in black suede and was dismayed to discover that they reek of leather-conditioning chemicals. I let theim air out for a full month, but they smelled just as bad as the day I got them, and so I sent them back. Sigh. I am not particularly scent-sensitive, and my friends agree - they stink!

I loved the look of this shoe but in person was disappointed. Felt much smaller than size and the toebox cut into the top of my foot and actually left chafing marks. Not very comfortable or flexible, either. The heel is positioned a little too close to the center of the foot, which left that area tender even after I took them off. I wouldn't buy these again and have barely worn them since I bought them.

These shoes are great, the first time you wear them. After that, they're not worth owning, because if you manage to trip (I'm naturally clumsy, so this is a given) and scuff them, the cheap white synthetic material under the paint shows. I've got white chips all over my turquoise shoes, and I can no longer wear them. Well, it was a complete waste of my money. They are adorable, made my feet look great and fairly comfy, but don't buy them if you're planning to wear them more than once. Also, when I tripped on the second wear (I decided to risk it, and this wasn't even a dramatic fall-on-your-face trip) the strap snapped and the button went flying. So now they're scuffed, and missing a button on one shoe. I had to go the whole evening with the shoes held together with a paperclip. Save your money for a better quality shoe. I guess it's true that with few exceptions, you get what you pay for. I've found this is especially true for shoes!

At first, I was pretty happy with this shoe. It was comfortable and relatively cute. Unfortunately, I didn't have a lot of time to reflect on that. The patent material scuffed almost immediately and one of the heels broke the second time I wore them (which has never happened to me before as I'm in no way hard on my shoes). The shoes are adorable. Big problem! I received them, tried them on, everything looked great so I tossed the box. First time I get ready to wear them I didn't even get out of the house when...POP...the button came off and the strap broke. They weren't tight on the arch - in face, a bit loose. The button and strap are secured with a little metal loop affixed to the back of the button. It pulled right out. So they've never been worn out of my living room and already require repair.

Cute but not comfortable. These shoes are so cute. I wish I could have liked them. As it's been mentioned before, there is something off about the toe box. I ordered the 2 sizes I normally wear & in both pairs the nail of my big toe touched the top of the toe box. Foot Petals didn't help. Also, there is a ledge where the heel meets the middle of the shoe. I have fairly flat feet so maybe that's why it hasn't been mentioned before, but even with arch inserts, I could still feel it. They do show a lot of toe cleavage, which doesn't bother me, but might some. Needless to say, I'm returning both pairs.

I was so excited to find these adorable shoes in patent leather for a reasonable price! I can't wear high heels, so this was just perfect. However, I couldn't stand to wear these shoes for more than 30 seconds because the innermost sides curved in, causing the rough edges to rub against my feet. Maybe I just got an odd pair, but they were horribly uncomfortable. One good thing I will say is that the toe box was nice and roomy.
