I am a true fan of Zappos. I have 5 kids and a working farm without Zappos I would be lost and bootless I don't have the time to shop for me so when I see your wonderful, beautiful merchandise I have an appreciation for y'all for all of your staff. Especially your shipping and returns. Y'all issue my credit in less than a week. Wow. Your return policy is 5 stars...I can't say enough I have been shopping with you from the beginning. I love these boots. I always get so many complements on them. They just get more and more comfortable. I have had them for three years and wear them all the time and they still look great.

I am 5'2" and 103 lbs. I usually wear a size 7, and I ordered a 7. I'm happy with my boots. I thought about going with a half size down as some recommended, but I'm glad I didn't. The 7 works well with thick socks that I want to wear bc of the cold. Also, it comes up to just under my knee so it's not too tall for us shorties. I wish I was taller, but that's my own issue--not Frye's.

You get what you pay for! I tried on a zillion pairs of boots in a department store to try to find a larger calf without going with an athletic calf boot. These are amazing! It takes about 4 wears to break them in, but then they are perfect! I am a boot snob and love the tan! People compliment them all the time! I also have another Frye pair (different style) in the Cognac and love them too! These are better than the stiff boots, in my opinion...so comfortable! If you are between sizes, go the size up. I hope you love them as much as I do!

This is my third pair of the Paige Tall Riding Boot and I never want to own a different style! I have tried the Melissa Button, but even the extended tab was snug on my calf. The Paige leaves plenty of room for my jeans to be tucked in while I'm still comfortable. The other two pairs that I own are the antiqued leather and those felt broken in as soon as I put them on. These are the calf shine leather and they took a while to break in but they have softened up a bit. I'm just as pleased with these as with the first two. I love the Frye Paige Tall Riding Boot!

Amazing boots. One of the 5 pairs of Frye's that I own. Very comfy and versatile. Have worn them with skinny jeans, leggings, and dresses. Comfortable enough to wear for hours and hours all day.

I LOVE these boots! Saw them online and knew I had to have them. I fluctuate between a 6.5-7. After trying on a pair in size 7, I ordered the 6.5 because I've read that they might stretch. The 6.5 fits perfectly! Despite some of the other comments, I never noticed an odd smell, but there was a waxy coating that I easily rubbed off with a damp cloth. The color is perfect and gets better with time. The calves are wide enough to fit great with skinny jeans, tights, boot socks, etc. I received my first pair and wore them for about two weeks and then noticed a hole in the seam of the left Achilles heel! I was so upset but called Zappos immediately - they emailed me a return label and my new pair of boots came within two days. Have not had any issues with them since. I highly, highly recommend the boots AND Zappos!

I want to own these boots. They are beautiful and I love them but the calf circumference is still too tight. I need another .5 inch or .75 inches more room. I've bought these twice hoping they would eventually fit after loosing some weight but still does not. Sadly, I must return again. Maybe I'll have better luck next year.

Gorgeous - well worth the two year wait while I hemmed and hawed over spending this amount of money. This is not my normal frugal purchase.

I love these. Spending this much on boots took a little convincing but I have researched Frye and wanted to invest in a good pair of boots. I ordered the Melissa Button first but being 5'7" and having long legs, they were too short on me. I was hoping the Paige would have a higher shaft and they do! They hit right below my knee, perfect! I tried them on today with skinny jeans and they were perfect, no worries about the pull-on. I ordered the black 8.5 and actually just ordered a cognac 9 to compare. Overall, great quality and design. Worth the money! Hopefully they will last me for years!

These are gorgeous boots! I wanted to love them, but they were just too big in the calf area. They made my legs look twice as big which is not very flattering. I do have smaller calves, these boots are just too clunky for me.

These boots are so pretty. I did put Frye's leather conditioner on them to make them a little more water resistant and this changed the color quite a bit, but I felt like I had to protect my investment. The only bad thing about them is that I find in nearly impossible to remove from my feet by myself. I read an earlier review from a person saying she had trouble getting them on. I have no difficulty getting them on but getting them off is a big problem. I can only wear them when my husband is going to be home. Hopefully they will loosen up over time.

Amazing boots! Beautiful leather, comfortable, eye catching. Frye boots live up to the hype and are worth every penny!

I can fit in some wide-calf styles, but the pull-on style has never been successful for me. I am happy to say that the Paige pulled on with ease and enough room for leggings (possibly a very thin pair of skinny jeans!). I am so pleased and will definitely consider other colors now. Some report that they did not fit a smaller calf - presume this is based on size. I ordered a size 10 and it definitely fits a 17" calf. Love Frye!

The material is very nice, soft and the smell is very leather like. the size seems to be true size but I ordered two time the same size and they vary in the size a lot. The first size was to narrow or small, one size bigger did not fits me at all, so I went back to the smaller size, ordered them for a second time and the second pair fits very good. So even a same size comes different. Its a very nice boot and I am looking forward to wear them soon. Arch support is a bit poor. The boots are very narrow at the feet and the shaft is kind of wide. The style is more rustic so its ok. Over all a super, rustic, good quality autumn boot!

I really love these boots, they are super cute and I know I will wear them for years to come. The only problem I had was that the sole of the shoe had zero traction and I live in Alaska, I was going to send them back because the sole was not only thin but completely bare but instead I went to my local shoe repair guy and he added an extra sole to the shoe so now it seems much more durable and able to handle ice/snow and all that jazz.

Oh, these are gorgeous! Lovely, buttery color and leather - traditional Frye quality. I do have a high insole (so much so that I recently had to purchase my first pair of wide calf Fryes, despite having average sized calves) and based on other reviews, I sized up a half size and anticipated some pushing and shoving until the leather softened. Imagine my surprise when they slipped right on! For me, high insteps and all, I should have stayed right at my normal Frye size. However, I wear these with heavy wool socks in the winter, so they will work out just fine. Beautiful boots, great value and timeless style.

Love this boot. I have a 16" calf, and the 9.5 is a perfect fit. I actually would prefer a little looser fit/look, but I'm still happy with it. I run a 9.5 - 10 and have a slightly wider foot, and it's a snug, but comfortable fit. Glad I went with the 9.5.

I have large calf mussels and unfortunately I could pull the boot up past my calf which made the ankle and mid boot slouch. Great, boot but not made for muscular legs.

GORGEOUS. I bought these in the grey. My only issues- they were a little more brown that I would've liked, especially at the toe and heel, and I wish they had a zipper for adjusting socks and jeans/leggings without taking the whole boot off, which is a bit of an event. But I will deal. The leather is thick and fabulous, and it feels slightly narrow but even after wearing them around the house for an hour I can tell that they will stretch and become the most comfortable boots ever. I have wanted a pair of Fryes for 10 years and finally decided to shell out the money when I saw these, and I feel like it is money well spent. The bottoms of these are thin, but has another layer of thick leather on the inside which makes them very comfortable. I plan on having some rubber tread added to the bottom of them to make them less slippery and to protect them. Seriously, gorgeous. Buy them now.
