Love these boots! Very comfortable. I ordered a size down - I'm normally a 6 and the 5 fits perfectly.

I have been searching for the prefect rain boot that fits my athletic calves and size 10 feet for months now and I finally found them! I have had my Hunter Huntress for seven months now and I absolutely love them! These are my go to boots when I go fishing, hiking, or just walking in the rain. This was a splurge for me as they are pricey yet these boots are durable, comfortable, fashionable and can work as snow boots if you purchase the fleece socks. I purchased the Huntress because I can tuck my pants into the boots and if I wear them during the winter with the fleece socks it give more room in the calves. Can you imagine how uncomfortable a thick fleece sock and tucked in pants would be if you did not have room. If you are on the fence about spending the money, just do it, they are well worth the price.

I love them. After a lot of searching I decided on these and am very happy. I ordered both the original and Huntress to test the calf. My calf measures 14" in circumference and since I want to tuck my jeans in these work the best. The original barely fit with jeans tucked in and I could tell the compression would be uncomfortable after a while. The Huntress is also much easier to get on and off. They are both super flexible and comfortable otherwise. I wear and ordered a size 6 and while the Huntress slips a tiny bit while walking it is not bothersome to me.

I love this boot! I am a dog walker and I couldn't make it through all the rain without them. They are very comfortable and I really like them just a little shorter on my calf. I highly recommend them!

These rain boots really hold up, are comfortable and I get so many compliments when I wear them! I purchased the original boots first, but the shaft was too narrow for my calves. The Huntress boot shaft is a bit wider and fits much better. When you first wear them the rubber smell can be a bit off-putting, but after wearing them a handful of times it is gone.

Absolutely loved these boots! The color, the boot height, the calf width...everything was as I had hoped except the shoe size. I followed the "order a size down" advice and they were too small. Unfortunately, there are no 7's available so I must search elsewhere. But I would definitely recommend these for a rainy day!

Let it rain! These boots are awesome and Zappos is even better...got these babies in under 24 hours! I'm 5'3" and the height and calf size couldn't be better. I also ordered the gloss Hunter but the calf size was an "almost but not quite comfortable." These fit perfectly with any jeans and sock combo. A bit baggy in the ankle but glad I got them.

Love these boots. I normally wear a 10, but got the 9 and they fit perfectly. Yes, there is a bit of room in the ankle but they are rain/mud boots. They are not supposed to be tight like dress boots! Perfect for what I purchased them for...trudging through wet grass and mud this past weekend (with style of course!).

I love these boots. They're super cute and amazingly comfortable. I have no problem wearing them all day long. And they're a great fit, even if you have relatively big calves like I do -- I can tuck jeans into these boots without a problem. I tried more than 10 different pairs of galoshes from Zappos, and these were definitely the best.

Love this boot! I'm usually a size 8 but went with the reviews and went with a size 7 and would definitely recommend this. The original hunters didn't fit my calves so I was very pleased to see that these fit perfectly even with jeans or leggings. When I first received them in the mail they were covered in the white wax that many reviewers were talking about. I was so disappointed until I read that Zappos sold the boot spray and buffer sponge that would transform my boots. Within seconds, the boots were shiny and free of the white film and I couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend buying a pair of your own. Thanks Zappos!

I have had these boots for a year now and they were the best purchase I have made in a long time. They are a true all around weather boot. I have worn them in Boston in rain, sleet, snow, slush, you name it. In fact, I wore my hunter's almost every single day last winter. The only negatives I have ever had about the boots: 1. If the boots are the "original" finish or "matte" and not the gloss, then they get this white-ish film over them. It is very common, in fact the Hunter website even talks about it. There is apparently some cleaner you can buy to clean the film, but It didn't bother me enough to get it. 2. The "buckle" on the side is a little useless and when I cross my legs, it scratches the other boot. All in all, I am so happy I bought these boots last year. I can't wait for another Boston winter thanks to these babies!

Absolutely love these boots! I have larger calves and most boots fit a little snug but these are perfect. I also bought the liners to wear when the weather is chilly. They look awesome and are extremely comfortable. I must also mention the great service I received from Zappos. It is a pleasant experience shopping on this site!

These are my first pair of Hunters and I'm not disappointed - great in rain and mud. I was debating whether to order the Huntress with more room in the calf, and am glad I did, as these fit perfectly. I normally wear a 9.5 shoe and the 9 is a bit big but just fine since I often wear with pants tucked in and heavy socks. Also, Zappos upgraded me to quick shipping free of charge - thanks!

These are the most comfortable rain boot. I can stand in them all day. Excellent fit for a wider calf.

I received the Huntress rain boots yesterday. They are great, perfect height for me (I'm 5'3") and the calf space is much more generous than the Hunter Original. The boots are really soft and no break in is required. They run big too, I'm an 8 1/2 or 9 and got an 8 and I still have room for the Welly Socks. Smells like rubber at first but it's the smell of new Hunters!

Got the Huntress Boots yesterday, opted for the Huntress because the Original Hunters were too tall for me and hit me at an uncomfortable spot (I'm 5'3). The Huntress are a great height and their is more calf space in the Huntress. I have chicken legs so the space in the Original wasn't an issue for me and I do have lots of room to spare in the Huntress but I don't mind. Slipping on and off the boots will not be an issue for me. The rubber is soft and no break in will be required for me. Smells of rubber at first but it's a strange smell of ownership. :) I love my rain boots! Oh and it is true that they run big, I am an 8 1/2 or 9 and I got an 8, they are not tight and I still have room for the Welly Socks.

I love this boot. It is wide enough to allow jeans/pants to be tucked in so the bottoms don't end up soaking wet. Another thing I love is that they don't make that horrible clunking noise that other rain boots make when you walk. These are light enough and fit well enough to have a much quieter step. Very comfortable, definite rubber smell the first few times you wear them (still waiting for that to die down), but worth every penny. Love the new calf width, much better than the Original. Now if only they made them in the robin blue color that the Original comes in! Also, the wellie socks fit perfectly with the boot and have nice clean lines. They also help keep your pants tucked in for a smoother time putting the boot on. I suggest getting these as well!

First of all Zappos is amazing with free overnight shipping and returns. The greatest thing ever for us avid online shoppers! These boots are great!! I bought them for my mom as a Mother's Day gift and she loves them! We have the same legs with the same large calves (so hard to find flattering boots of any kind really) and these are wide enough with even a little extra room to tuck jeans into! I've already borrowed them from my mom twice. Looks like I'll have to buy a pair for myself as well!

These Hunter rain boots are the best rain boots ever! Not only do they keep my feet dry, everywhere I wear them, I get compliments. I love them...if they should ever wear out, I'll buy another pair asap. I like that these Huntress are wider in the calf. I can wear jeans, leggings, tights. I wear them with dresses and they look super cute. Get some! They are super comfy too...like walking on clouds.

Great boots, a little bigger around the calf than the regular tall hunters, these are a tad shorter and leave lots of room in the calf for jeans, dont have to just wear with leggings. They run a full size large, so definitely size down one. They are comfortable and definitely smell like rubber at first, but I wouldnt trade them for the world.

I have to say that these boots do run big, I'm an 8 in everything and I had to return them for a 7. The ankle area was wide but once I exchange it for the 7 it wasn't as wide. These fit so good with everything jeans fit right in with no problem.

These are great! I bought a couple of pairs for my kids, and I couldn't get them to take them off, so I figured they must be great! They are super comfortable and durable, and I've been wearing them nearly daily this muddy, wet spring. They are great in the muck, but also look fairly stylish for walking in town. I found that I needed to order one size down from my normal size. One note, the first two pairs I bought had a weird white discoloration/texture imperfection to them which seemed to go beyond the subtle discoloration which is mentioned on the website, but after I called Zappos, they kindly sent a third pair which was perfect!

Finally rain boots that fit a larger calf! I've tried sooo many and they feel like rubber bands around my legs which is really not enjoyable! So a friend told me about these..the price seemed a little steep at first for rubber rain boots but I figured after all the ones I've bought and were too tight or sprung leaks after a few wears that the investment would be worth it and it is!! These have plenty of room and give that I can even tuck my jeans in them!

I love these rainboots! I couldn't wait for it to rain, once I got them. They do run a bit large, but fit okay with thicker socks on. They are a great style for ladies with athletic legs/calves.
