I really wanted to like this shoe. Very cute and super comfy. I put them on and walked a bit around the house. Footbed is very supportive and comfy on the feet. However, the back of the shoe comes up so high, that it was rubbing against my ankle bone. I need a comfortable pair of shoes to take with me on vacation to the UK and I know I will be doing a lot of walking. Sadly, I had to send them back. I love Naot shoes, and have purchased several in the past and would definitely buy Naot’s again.

I normally wear a 41, but this shoe felt a bit snug so I’m ordering a 42. I hope it works for me because it’s an adorable looking shoe.

Too big! .. I might try a different brand and design, this one is not quite the right shape for me.

Really wanted to like this shoe, always on the lookout for cute shoes for problem feet. Wear a 6.5 and the size 37 seemed good in all respects EXCEPT that, for me anyway, it felt as if the sole under the ball of my foot was concave, higher on the sides than in the middle. It felt really odd, unlike any other footwear experience, so back they went.

They were recommended by another flight attendant as "the most comfortable shoes", and I really wanted them to work for me. I wear 5.5 in heels (Nine West) and 6.0-6.5 in running shoes and boots. I ordered 37(recommended by Naot's size guide) first and they were too long and too big for my feet. Then I tried 36; they were too narrow in toe box and not comfortable. Very well made, but not for me.

I love the look of this shoe and it is a comfortable heel. However, I am a size 12 and the 43 is a bit snug.

So I ordered 37 and they were just a little too large in length. Even with the Mary Jane strap, my heels came out of shoes. The toe box and the width were narrow to medium. the 37s fit me with the width, so I'm hesitating to order 36 and have them be too narrow. (I'm probably medium to wide ) The cushion was good, but the leather itself was rather hard, not soft. (they probably soften up with use, i assume)

Pretty shoe, although I wish Naot would make some dress shoes that didn't have the Mary Jane strap. The shoes fit all right, except that the heels were very wide and loose. Sorry to have to return them.

Very cute, but my toes are pinched in these shoes. They fit well elsewhere.

Cute Maryjane style and comfortable footbed but the toe box was too narrow for my foot. I have a narrow foot so the shoe worked from that perspective but my toes are long so they hit the shoe where it curves.

The length of these were good they were a true twelve, however they were really narrow. I don't normally wear a Wide shoe but these need that option and they do not provide Wide as an option.

These seem a little narrow in the toe box compared to my other Naot shoes, but otherwise comfortable, with a welcome height boost. I do a fair amount of walking at work and these are practical, if not very attractive. I don't wear them with skirts or dresses, but they're fine with pants.

Thought I would like the heel height because of the platform under the ball of the foot, but it looks a little chunky for my taste.

Comfortable, with beautiful leather, but only for women with long, slender legs. On me, they look like grandmother shoes.

A woman stopped me on street to compliment them. I like them ok. My husband hates them. Are they cute or matronly? Opinions seem to vary! Fairly comfy. Note: I'm size 9.5. Maybe cuter on smaller feet.

Today I received my beloved Naot Footwear Pleasure shoes in espresso leather. I own several pairs of their sandals. This is the first time I have purchased a pair from Zapoos. I tried on the right shoe first and it was beautiful. I started to carry the shoe box to my closest (The shoe box which they arrived in was very beaten up/ragged). I then decided I should take the left shoe out and try it on just in case. I found two large scuff marks on the left side of this shoe. I am very disappointed and skeptical about where these shoes came from. Were they returned damaged? Were they not inspected for their quality before they were sent to me? I will give Zappos another try only because they offer great assistance and free shipping. I hope these expensive shoes are not coming from an unreputable source to begin with.

These are super cushy and comfortable but the crinkled patent looks too casual and out of place on this shoe. Regular black patent would have been perfect. I need a dressier look!

This shoe will be my attempt to meet function and still be fashionable. I work on a college campus. I needed a pair of shoes to keep in my office, so that when I need to trek across campus, I have something safe, sturdy, weatherproof and neutral enough to work with slacks, skirts, etc. So far these have fit the bill. I do have a warning to those who buy them...watch out for the velcro closure. Already in the short time I've owned them, I've snagged knee highs and caught the hem stitching of a pair of trousers, subsequently pulling out the entire hem. Not sure if I will keep the bow on them or cut them off. I have one other pair of Naots. While they aren't dainty, they are still more flattering than some of the other comfort shoes I've tried and returned.

Very comfy - especially for the size heel it is, it is very stable. I always get compliments as well.

Very comfortable and beautiful pair. A little dressier than I thought it would be, almost over the top, but after the bunion surgery, comfort is my number 1 priority and Naot delivers.

I am sold on Naot shoes now. These are awesome. The only negative is the narrow toe box. I'm used to Dansko toe-space and now I'm spoiled. I think the cushioning on these is amazing though and if they were wider in the toe area, I would have kept them, but I could feel the squeezing in just five minutes.

Do not believe the advisory that this shoe is a full size larger than marked and one should size down when ordering. I normally wear a size 40 in Dansko (clogs and pumps) and a 40 or 41 in Dansko sandals. I therefore ordered this Naot shoe in both a 40 and a 39. The 39 is way too short and the 40 is way too tight around the toe. It is not due to the patent leather because I also ordered the same shoe in size 39, 40 and 41 in the armor leather. The size 41 fits me perfectly (hence I had to order the same size or one size larger not one size smaller). Alas, the armor leather is not as grey as it appears on the web site; it is more of a dull black. Since I already have black pumps (Dansko) I am sending these back. I would return for a grey patent leather in size 41, because the grey patent leather is lovely, but Zappos is out of this color in size 41. Or I may try to stretch out the toe of the size 40 grey patent leather shoe, but I think it is just too tight for my duck-like feet.

I like these shoes. They are dressier than others and are comfortable, too. I usually wear a 9 or 9½ but I would not have wanted a smaller size than a 10 in these shoes. They work well with longer work slacks. I was glad to find something other than black to work with my dark suits.

Loved the shoe and the peacock color but too narrow in the footbed for me. I am sorry I have to return.
