I'm 32 and work at a Convention Center, so while they're not stylish, I typically I wear Dansko's to get me through the day. However, I was looking for a shoe that would be cute with skirts, but still comfortable enough. This seems to find that balance. Unfortunately, I wear them with no socks, so usually by the middle of the day, something is rubbing and I have to take them off. I think my demands on a shoe are a bit over the top, though. I would consider this a comfortable and cute shoe, and I get compliments on the strap. For someone my age, I don't think I would wear them in a non business setting though.

In an effort to wear something other than a Dansko clog, I ordered this Naot. The fit, especially in the toebox, is more narrow than what I'm accustomed to. The leather must be great quality, as the snug fit (blisters, ouch!) of day one is no longer an issue whatsoever. That said, the leather is quite scratched up already. Bummer. The heel is very comfortable and I feel inclined to wear them with dresses just as easily as nice jeans. Many compliments and as always, super quick turnaround from Zappos.

I ordered this in the grey (pewter?) and it looks like a light black, so very flattering with many colors. Since my left foot is wider than my right, it took awhile for the shoe to stretch to fit without squeezing my toes. Otherwise, I wore them around Paris, and wear them to work. (I'm on my feet most of the time.) I did read other Naot reviews of shoes, and many other customers did mention that they had the same squeezed toe prob. I kept the velcro closure on the strap somewhat looser than normal, and that seemed to help. They will not fit my orthotics however. Then again, most of my current shoes don't. Nice to have classic looking shoe that won't run the gamut of fleeting fashion trends.

I like this shoe. The peacock color is great, though it scuffs easily. I bought it in size 11 and the styling makes my foot look longer and narrower than it actually is. But I love the leaf closure and they're super comfy. I stand through my entire work day and always end the day with happy feet when I wear these.

I love the color of the leather (Armor); great smokey grey. I'm not a huge fan of the velcro strap closure (not sure I read that in the product description), and I hope it is sturdier than it appears. Nice heel. Very comfortable, as always with this brand. I'm happy.

These shoes are a bit narrow for me. Love the quality and style. After wearing nothing but Dansko shoes my feet are spoiled.

I bought these shoes to work a booth at a trade show. They worked like a charm. They are a little tight in the toe box, but otherwise were quite comfortable. I received lots of compliments from others way trendier than I am.

Cute shoes but they did not feel comfortable for me. Each step felt spongy/wobbly like I was teetering on a soft heel. The velcro strap may not have been tight enough for the shoe to feel secure on my foot. Donated them to Haiti's Soles for Souls.

A very comfortable shoe, even though it is not very sexy. However, it is very practical and well made.

Love Them! As noted in the description, these shoes run a size large. I have flat feet and wear orthotics so I've been wearing old lady shoes for years. I even have to take my shoes to the chiropractor to see how they affect my back. I was so happy when these shoes were approved! They are a little chunky looking but so much better than most of the shoes I can wear.

Service excellent. The images are very similar for what I get. Only thing is that this particular model is a little tight for my upper side feet.

Cute and Comfortable - I own these shoes in both black and chili pepper. Because I have a wide foot, I did not downsize as recommended, but ordered my usual size 37 and am pleased with the fit. I was finally able to get rid of my old Naot Mary Janes (either Twist or Shout, I can't remember), which I'd been holding onto for almost 10 years. My only complaints are: because of my wide feet and high arches, some of the velcro shows on the side; and the chili pepper leather scuffs easily and the toes immediately lost color. I have to polish them frequently.

Versatile and Comfort able! I tried these on a year ago in a local shoe store but wasn't sure at that time that I would use them enough to warrant the price tag. Since then I’ve made 3 other Naot purchases and have been happy with all of them. This brand seems to work well for my situation: High arch with a high instep. So, in planning a trip to Las Vegas I decided I needed a dressier shoe with higher heal height that would work well with my dress pants for evening wear. These fit the bill!! The first night I wore them I couldn't believe how comfortable they were. I had been tromping around the strip all day in other shoes and was still able to wear these at night and for the most part my feet did not hurt. It was the first time I wore them and I didn't have to endure any break in time. Very light feeling on the feet and with the rocker shaped bottom there was less resistance and fatigue with each step. They looked great with pants and I would not be hesitant to wear them with skirts as the updated Mary Jane look is a classic. It gave be the heel height I needed along with a classic streamlined look - in a comfort shoe no less!! Way to go Naot!! Unfortunately, it does not have the same arch support for me as my other Naot purchases (wasn't enough arch support) but all in all I will still wear this shoe as nothing else I tried had the arch support I needed either in a shoe with this heel height.

Good, solid shoe - These shoes are very comfortable for my narrow feet. Even without socks, I walk to work and spend all day in them. I don't love the way they look, but given the comfort, I wear them anyway. My husband's comment: "They're no so bad."

I have big feet for my height and bunions. Normally I wear a 39 but in these I had to get a 40, probably because of the bunions. As a result, I think they make my feet look huge. HOWEVER, they are supremely comfortable and I think I'll be able to stand in them for hours. I wanted a shoe that would be both comfortable for extended standing and that would not be a flat because I'm short. I am a singer and can hide what I think is an ugly look with long gowns. Note: my husband and several friends think these shoes are cute, so the aesthetic is obviously very personal! The comfort is undisputable. Weirdest thing: In the Naot "Allure" boot I got a 39 and it fit fine - same bottom, too. And I think it looks FABULOUS. Go figure.

Great looking shoe and comfortable - This shoe is very pretty. I stand on my feet quite a bit and I am always on the lookout for a comfortable shoe that looks good. This shoe is it. My foot is not a narrow width but leans toward being thin. Zappos always does a great job with their descriptions and sizing down one is exactly what I needed to do. This shoe is for people with narrow feet or feet that run narrow however as it is a tight fit at the toe.

Narrow and not too cute but very well made and comfortable - These shoes are exactly what they are advertised to be. Namely, very well-made, very comfortable shoes to wear if your job requires you to be on your feet all day. I have wide feet, so they were a little too narrow for me initially, but I stretched them, and now they fit fine. They do seem to be made so as to last for a century, and they are definitely extremely comfortable.

Very comfortable however since I wear a size 41, the front was just too long - made my feet look longer than I like.

Work shoes - I really like the shoe. I received them very fast, you upgraded my shipping and I thank you for that! I stand on my feet for 8 hours, so I’m having a little trouble breaking them in; they are cut high. I am not so sure on your sizing theory. I order a 7 instead of 8 since it was recommended that the sizes are large. Not so sure about that, but impossible to tell until worn to work. Comfortable at first, but after about 4 hours of nonstop standing I have to change shoes. I was disappointed only in the fact that the shoe doesn't have a removable foot bed. I ordered them from Zappos because my foot doctor could not get them for me because they were discontinued. When I found the exact same shoe at Zappos, I took my chances that in the description you did not show the removable foot bed. I order other shoes at foot doctor by Naot that have that removable foot bed and thought I really lucked out that you still had them. I still love the shoe and hope I can get it broken in. it is a very attractive shoe and is made very well.

Comfort and style! Very comfortable, slightly wider than expected - but that is not a problem with the velcro closure.

Very nice shoe, velcro could be stronger - I wear these shoes every day for work (I am a school teacher) and receive a lot of compliments about how nice they look for an everyday shoe. They are comfortable, but a little tight around the toes at first. The only problem I have with these shoes is that the velcro does not grip very well and comes loose many times throughout the day, which is not what you want to have happen when your job requires you to do a lot of walking and standing and moving around! Overall though I am very happy with these shoes.

These might work if you have a narrow foot. I recently purchased size 38 sandals that are one of Naot's narrow styles that work, but these shoes were a tiny bit narrower and a bit longer in the footbed of the sandals. Since they are fully closed shoes, they are a bit too tight around my toes but the main problem is that they slip on the heel. They are a stiff shoe, with a cork footbed that doesn't bend, so they just won't work. I think it's a cute shoe, so I was disappointed. They are also fairly heavy for a shoe of this type.

The style seemed clunky, and they felt shorter in length than other Naot shoes I own that are the same size. Also, the overall curvature and shape of the soles felt strangely upturned in the toe area and scrunched up my feet uncomfortably. I ended up returning them.
