The most comfortable Keen ever-and that's saying a lot! This is half sandal, half shoe. Its lighter weight and less bulky than it looks in the photo, and has great heel & instep support. Makes my running sneaks feel all mushy.

Keen Arroyo II - Super Versatile!!! I love these shoes! Very comfortable from the moment I took them out of the box. I can wear them for walks or for casual events. I love that I can just slip them on and go. I have slightly wide feet and usually I have to break shoes in for a couple of weeks, these fit perfectly, not too tight and not too loose.

Slip sliding... I love the Arroyo IIs, but for one flaw... the laces are too fat for the toggle and they slip so you have to keep pulling them tight. I haven't worn them outside yet so may send them back. I was planning to take them into Algonquin on a 3 week backpacking trip. I had a pair before, but the laces didn't slip.

Keen is right! Love these shoes. After reading other reviews I ordered a half size larger than normal and they are just s smidge big. I may be a quarter size foot as I suspect a smaller size would be too short. So they are not so big as to be an issue, just a little bigger than I ordinarily wear. They are also wider than most M widths which for me is great, I have a wide ball, medium heel. They are, comfortable, cute, cute, love the color-green. They are definitely more substantial than the other hiking sandal I have from a different maker. They should be just great on a long hike.

Comfort, comfort, comfort!!!! This shoe looks and feels great! I like it because your foot can breathe. If you have foot problems like I do and are stuck with these kinds of shoes then this one’s for you! I got the concord color and it is great, goes with everything. A true Zappos fan!!!! Love the service, keep it up! You got me!!!!

Great Sandals! If you like to hike in sandals, then these Arroyos are the ticket. They have a higher arch than the Newports and a removable insert that is very comfortable. The high back seems to keep the small bits of gravel from getting inside the shoe. I just got these last month and have hiked quite a few miles in them. So far they are great. The only negative I have noticed is my feet tend to sweat more in the Arroyos than in my Newports.

Happy...Happy - This shoe is the most comfortable shoe that I have ever worn. It may not be the most attractive but it certainly makes up for it with comfort.

Bummed - I really wanted to like this shoe as I live in my Keen Venice sandals. I was excited when I got them because the look and features were just as I expected. Unfortunately like several other reviewers, I found the heel to be too loose and to slide around immediately upon putting them on no matter how much I tightened them. I chose to return them.

Keen Arroyo - This shoe is wonderful. I ordered an 8 1/2, which I received. Normally, I wear an 8. This shoe is very big and my foot has too much room. I am afraid to walk in them.

Great shoe - Great sandal that fits my thick orthotics. Excellent arch support. Waterproof too! Just a little clunky looking. Would like to find some open toe sandals that take orthotics.

Very comfortable! I've worn a few different styles of Keens, and decided to order these and after wearing a pair of Venice H2 sandals over 50% of the time for the past 18 months. I also got some Newport H2s. For me, the soles are one way to tell the difference between shoes and between different models of Keens as well. I really appreciate the ability to see the soles on Zappos.com for that reason. These shoes feel sturdier than the two H2 models, as their soles might suggest. They hug my feet better and the arch support feels better. On the other hand, I think they may tend to be a bit stinkier because of the leather. It's a little early to tell about that, though. These aren't really different enough from the H2 models to justify having both. If I'd tried them on in a store I might have only gotten these. They do have ventilation and should be good for summer. The H2s on the other hand are good if you plan to camp by water or wear them to the beach. (I'm going to keep both.) Anyway, I recommend these shoes for any kind of casual use. I'll wear them to work and on weekends.

Excellent Arch Support - This shoe is stylish as well as functional. It's nice because you can wear it with pants or shorts and it supports your foot all day long. I have a slightly wider foot and it was spot on for size.

Right out of the box... and on my feet! My wide Hobbit toes are perfectly happy in these shoes (as well as in my 4 other pairs of Keens), but the arch support really makes these shoes stand out. The best in any Keens I've ever worn. They do seem a tad bit longer, but not enough to switch to a smaller size. The color was a little disappointing - I thought Concord would be kinda grape-ish, but it turns out to be a very nice brown. Love Keens and love Zappos! Life is good.

Keen Arroyo - I love this shoe! Comfortable, supportive, cute, and allows your feet to breath for the warmer months! I own several pairs of Keens and I have got to say after 20 years of foot pain due to plantar fasciitis and heel spurs, I am finally able to be on my feet for many hours in these shoes with no foot pain. I have custom orthotics and my orthotics do cause some heel slipping in my shoes, that being said I have opted to deal with the heel slipping because that is by far easier to deal with than the amount of foot pain I have experienced wearing other brands of shoes. After 20 years of foot pain and thousands of dollars spent on shoes that I ultimately couldn't wear, I can finally say I can walk again and have a better quality of life due to these shoes. Other sufferers will know what I am talking about here. In regards to sizing, I always go one half size up than I normally have worn in other shoes and that seems to work best for me, but may not ring true for everyone. The customer service Zappos offers is second to none.

I love these! I got these super fast from Zappos! I stand up all day at work and was afraid I was having leg blood clots. It was just bad leg pain from standing in bad shoes. After working all day in the arroyos, my feet did not ache as usual and the leg pain was 80% better. I could even ride my bike again the next day. I haven't worn these without socks yet, but they fit me (am 8 1/2-9 size) just fine, even with bulky Smartwools on. Maybe they don't flop because they are snug, but I love these shoes. I wasn't too sure about the side openings mixed with rain and such, but for the comfort, price, and cute looks, I overlooked it and I'm glad I did! Side note: at this time, Zappos seems to be out of many styles, sizes, and colors of Keens which disappointed me. I spent over an hour trying to find a combination of shoe/look/price that I liked, but otherwise stellar shopping experience!

I loved the arch support and the comfort, but am returning it because I really did not like the open design look of it. I will try a enclosed model of this brand. The toe area very roomy.

These run large. I wear an 8½ but should have ordered 8. This shoe is extremely slippery on wet surfaces, like tile! My other Keens, are not so slippery. I may exchange and see if it is just defective bottoms. I am dissapointed in the slipperiness but the cushion and comfort are awesome. I wear these to work on a tile floor that gets wet often and cannot have this problem.

These shoes are very comfortable. I wear them for walking and everything else. I have problems with my feet and can't wear most shoes. These also work with orthotics.

This is a substantial sandal/shoe. The width is great & I have a very wide foot. Not a street walker, but feels like it'll be great for hiking trails. I am very impressed with the arch support. With the enclosed back, it has nice heel stabilization as well. It's a keeper for hiking. Feels like a three-season shoe to me.

If you buy these -- which you should! -- they will definitely become your #1 go-to-shoes for hiking. I have had mine for several years now, and despite all of the high impact forces applied to them throughout, the shoes have stayed strong, sturdy, and stable. One minor setback was that one of the elasticized toggles broke quite recently, but then again, I've had them for a long time, plus Keen sends you new toggles free of charge per request! Overall, I highly recommend this shoe, especially for outdoor activities!
