A shoe for a great mom!!! Hi! I ordered New Balance's WW844 for a birthday/Mother's Day gift for my mom. She has a lot of feet and ankle problems, but this product is great and now I want a pair for my birthday!!!

Very Comfortable Shoe - I have been plagued with plantar fasciitis and needed a shoe which could help with this and make my feet feel better. At first I didn't think they helped that much, but after wearing a different pair of shoes, I realized that at the end of a long day on my feet, my feet didn't hurt! I could actually walk without limping in the evening. These look good, have great support and I highly recommend these shoes. My foot doctor also had positive comments about this shoe.

Another Winner from New Balance - New Balance has yet to disappoint. I have bad knees and walk often and work out 3x a week. These shoes required no break-in time. I like the SL-2 and the high back, no slippage in the heel. Great shoes definitely help my knees.

Great Shoe! I have been trying to find a pair of walking shoes that fit comfortably, and have been through 4 pair, unsuccessfully. These, however, fit my requirements and are great! I highly recommend them.

New Balance WW844 - The shoe fit was perfect. I relied on previous sizing from New Balance shoes and this pair was a true fit. The shoe provides excellent heel and arch comfort. I am very pleased with the shoes and the excellent service from Zappos.

Very comfortable shoe for pronation - Thanks to Robert D. in Zappos’ customer service, I was able to find a decent walking shoe that helps pronation. I initially ordered the size 10 due to product reviews that said it fit half size smaller, but needed my normal 10.5 sizes and Zappos did a fast even exchange for me, which was very convenient since I was out of town at another address. Robert D. spent time over the phone with me re: New Balance styles and fit. My foot fits the New Balance SL2 Last: narrow heel, high instep, deep and wide toebox (Most shoes are cut for standard SL1 Last). This style works well for mild to moderate pronation. I'm able to wear it all day long. It is non-leather and cleans easily. I like this shoe better than the Brooks Ariel or Addiction and eventually want to try the New Balance 926 which is supposed to be for severe pronation. I also ordered (and returned) the NB WW811 which features an easy hook & loop closure but it is not a style for pronators. I don't need a hook & loop now anyway because my foot slides in and out of this shoe easily! Thanks to Zappos for great service!

This is the most comfortable shoe that I have ever worn. Can't wait to order it in the black, too!

Magnificent Shoe - My physical therapist told me to look for shoes with lots of cushioning. These more than fit the bill. Plus the roll bar keeps my feet from rolling out when I walk so I don't have to wear orthotics with them. I've worn several styles of New Balance shoes over the years and these are the best by far.

The Best Sneaker I've Every Owned - I cannot believe how comfortable these are! I wear a 12WW and was able to put these on and wear them to walk at the New York Botanical Gardens for miles. They are very light and don't make my feet look huge. I would definitely recommend these!

Great Walking Shoes - I love my New Balance WW844. I had an old pair of 843's that had logged many walking miles. I put my new paid on and they were so comfortable. No "breaking in" needed. I'm wearing them in a 5K walk in a few weeks. I've done up to 7 miles in them with no discomfort.

This is a great shoe right out of the box. I didn't have to break them in like I do with some other shoes. I have foot problems and my orthotics fit perfectly in these shoes. I would buy these again.

Okay, not exactly elegant. Big old toe box, very comfortable, very light. New Balance recommended by Consumer Reports - right on the money.

Another NB winner - I have tried other shoes for walking and New Balance are always the ones I come back to. Another great pair with great support.

Excellent Walking Shoe - I recently had foot surgery, and needed a well-padded shoe that would provide an even and comfortable foot strike. This shoe perfectly fit that bill, and I could wear it comfortably from the first day. It's not the most stylish shoe I've ever owned, but it's definitely one of the most comfortable. In addition, the Zappos shipping service was phenomenal. I ordered the shoe at 5:00 p.m., and was wearing it the next day.

Every pair of New Balance I've ordered have been great and the 844 is no exception! They have good arch support and are nice and "cushy" inside. I would highly recommend!!

I wear these at work.. New balance seem to run short so I ordered them A half size bigger than my shoe size and they fit perfectly. I like the cushion and the support. I’m on my feet for 12 hours at work so the cushion is important...

Thank you Zappos - This was my first experience with ordering shoes over the internet; I was very leery but decided to try it. I ordered 2 different styles, one of which was perfect & I am wearing it in comfort. However, the other pair did not fit properly. I contacted you and was immediately sent a return label with the postage paid and the replacement pair was here in no time. Everything went so smoothly that I will always use Zappos for my shoe needs. The shoe I am reviewing is the replacement shoe. I have been wearing this shoe for the last year and this shoe is just as comfortable. It did not have to been "broken in”. Thank you Zappos for great shoes and good service.

Like a feather - Very comfortable shoes. So light you forget you're wearing them. Wore them for the first time on vacation and the 844s felt great after many, many miles of walking.

Very Comfortable Shoe - I ordered this New Balance WW844 Walking shoe as I had a vacation planned for 3 weeks, split between New Zealand and Australia. I did not wear my new shoes until the day I left on vacation. My friends and I did LOTS of Walking on our trip and I found my shoes to be very comfortable from the very first day I put them on!! I ordered them one day and I had them on my doorstep the very next day!! I will definitely order more New Balance walkers and will be a customer of Zappos for a long time!!

New Balance 844 Review - Because I have such narrow feet, I've had a hard time finding an athletic walking shoe that fits well and gives good support. This one fits the bill perfectly. However, I did need to order a half size longer for proper fit.

Great walking shoe - I love that I could get this in a narrow width. The shoe runs a size small and wider than normal so otherwise it would not have worked for my narrow feet. Walked for the first time yesterday and they were great right out of the box. Zero break-in time.

New Balance WW844 - Great shoe, selected with assistance from customer service after previously ordered shoe did not fit well. This shoe fits and feels like many New Balance shoes I have worn over the years - the difference is in the price and service! Thank you!
