Love NB - I've worn NB for the last 5 years. I tried Brooks Addiction Walker but it wasn't a good fit for me. One size too big, the next size too small. I'll stay with NB in the future.

I've been wearing these New Balance shoes for quite some time. The shoe that I started with has been improved a few times. Zappos finds the equivalent model and that's the one I purchase. It's a great walking shoe.

Super comfortable - I've been wearing this New Balance WW844 for the past year, and this pair I just ordered from you was because the other pair was breaking down. I walk a lot and go through about three pair a year. I've been wearing New Balance sneakers for about ten years, their sneakers come in wide widths and have always been comfortable and look good. This sneaker has the Breast Cancer ribbon on the tongue showing New Balance supports the ACS. I'm a Breast Cancer survivor.

BEST walking shoe ever! My old New Balance shoes finally wore out (6 years of heavy wear later) and the WW844 is the new version. I loved those shoes, and I love these! A supremely comfortable walking shoe that you can wear and wear and wear. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone who does a serious amount of walking. They're not much to look at, but they are fabulous in every other way!

Best support shoe for walking or long-term standing - I've tried other New Balance styles but this is by far the best for comfort. I do a lot of standing (6 hours +) and find that there is great support for my arch and very good cushion support. I use the black ones for work and I also bought a white pair to use on the treadmill. These are not my first pair of New Balance. I have a flat foot with no arch so these give me the support I need.

My fave walking shoe - This is my favorite walking shoe and I'm glad they have not discontinued it. It is the perfect support (I walk 3-4 miles each day) and super comfortable.

Very satisfied - I'm very pleased with this shoe. Good support and comfort on my morning 2 mile walks.

Like walking on air. I love these shoes. I have worn New Balance for a long time but the 844's are exceptional. They are truly like walking on air. I try to walk 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 miles each day. These shoes make it a joy. I have a short, wide foot. The shoes look a little boxy but for me the comfort far outweighs the fashion aspect. Great shoe. Well worth the money.

Look no further!! The most comfortable, no need to break in, get up and go shoe ever. Perfect for orthotics too. This is my new favorite shoe and I will buy these again! I used to wear New Balance 926-they were very heavy and orthopedic looking and I had problems with them coming apart. I would recommend these to any one.

Nice looking sneaker - My mom loves these shoes. I tried them for myself, and unfortunately, they don't work for me. I have a very, very difficult time finding shoes that work for me. Very sensitive, hurting feet. Wish New Balance hadn't quit making the 925's!!!

My favorite shoe! I love this shoe... I have purchased several pair over the years. This was my first time to order from Zappos. I usually purchase in a shoe store. I found I needed to order a half size larger than I have previously bought in this shoe. Zappos’ price was lower on the shoe and the quick service was fantastic! I'll use Zappos again!

Comfortable walking shoe - Ordered a half-size larger than usual shoe size for toe box room. Very comfortable and pretty supportive without feeling heavy or confining; no break in required (just wore for the second time on a 5K walk this weekend and they felt great). Not the coolest-looking shoe (the white ones look a little like nursing shoes) but I didn't buy these for looks.

New Balance 844 - These are the best walkers I have ever owned. I have a narrow heel and a wider fore foot and these are the only shoes I can wear without band-aids on my heels.

4 miles per day - This is the New Balance shoe I have been searching for! It has the same immediate comfort with no break in period of all NB shoes. However, it has the support that is needed to walk on cement for up to 30 miles per week. Well worth the price!

Best walkers for wide feet - The New Balance 844 comes in multiple widths and provides room for toes to move about. I ordered a "D" width. Good for walking and running on the treadmill, walking on cobblestones and during a general workout...and it is made in the USA! Shoe runs short so order a half size larger than other athletic shoes, full size larger than regular shoe size. I have tried other athletic shoes but keep coming back to this one. I have one in white for the gym and one in black for vacations/travel.

Great shoes for those who have foot problems! The New Balance WW844 is one of the most comfortable shoes that I have ever worn. I wear an 11 Wide. It is difficult to even find a good pair of walking shoes in my size, let alone one that is really comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis and have problems with one of my favorite forms of exercise-walking. When I wear these shoes with my inserts, I don't feel any pain when I walk. I recommend these shoes for anyone with a foot problem like mine. It doesn't feel uncomfortable; however, there doesn't seem to be much toe room. Next time I think I will order a half size larger. It's wonderful to be able to have that option. On top of everything else, Zappos upgraded my shipping choice just to say thank you. So, I received my shoes quicker than expected. What a company!

First tried 11AA –Definitely too short. Unfortunately with an 11 the next size is a 12.Got a 12AA in white. Amazingly they do not look like canal boats. Shoe style quite attractive for this type shoe in large sizes. A tad long but O.K. to wear.

WW844 - Great comfort and fit, especially suggested as I have plantar fasciitis. Will continue to order it (or its next generation as I understand this model WW844 is being discontinued).

Best walking shoes ever - After I complained to my sister of hip and foot pain when I do my daily walking, she introduced me to these. Her doctor had diagnosed her with arthritis in her knee, but after switching to these shoes, her knee pain was totally gone. The same happened to me. I have since recommended them to other walkers with various structural pain and they have had the same results. The roller bar technology is amazing! I would not even consider wearing anything else. They run a bit small so try a half size larger.

Love this sneaker - I bought this sneaker for my vacation in Seattle where I planned to do a lot of walking. I have a very wide foot (6.5WW) & this sneaker was perfect. I didn't have to break it in at all. It's the most comfortable sneaker I have ever worn.

NB WW 844 is the best! I've been a fan of the NB WW 844 for several years (the 844 was preceded by 843 & 842). Although a bit pricey, the 844 is worth every cent. I have had other NB models but I feel the 844 is their best. The toe has extra room which allows my bunion to be undisturbed, and it's extremely well cushioned. I buy 2 pairs a year -- really love them!

Wonderful shoes, service and price! These shoes are amazingly comfortable and well constructed. I ordered this pair to replace my originals that lasted through nearly 8 years of 12-hr shifts in a busy ER. Not having to think about my feet is very important and these shoes are "invisible" from day one. I use Zappos for all my shoe shopping; without a doubt they provide the most efficient, expedient and worry free customer service of any business I've ever dealt with. Returns and exchanges are handled with the same attention as new sales and they are fast! Great shoes, great service...what more can you ask for?

THE best walking shoe! Wonderfully comfortable on the first wearing! No break-in period required. Great arch support! Wide width has plenty of wiggle-room.
