Good looking shoe, but too wide & stiff for me. Arch support seems low to moderate. I do have a more narrow foot, with a high arch. This is not the style for my foot.

Very nice looking shoe, love Keen’s leather colors . I was able to buy this in my actual size, rather than sizing up or buying wide. They fit the shape of my foot perfectly- wide forefoot and narrow heels. Unfortunately my heel lifts up way too much with each step. The opening of the shoe is too sloppy/big, and I cannot tighten the top laces tight enough to keep my heel from lifting with each step. The tongue is odd too, and I think it co tributes to this issue. It’s fat and bulky at the top, and pops out or pushes to the side when you are tying. One of the photos shows the tongue problem. I may try the mod style so I can lace it higher on my foot. I’m also going to try the newer model (targhee 3)

These definitely ran at least a half size short versus other Keens I have. The wide toe box is just lovely for my toes. Definitely needed to be broken in and walked in multiple times before I got the WOW my shoes feel comfy feeling. They now are my go to’s for my daily walk in the woods. Nice tread, not heavy on my feet and decent looking.

Previous reviews said these run small, to order a half size up. The Keen website even says this, so I did so. As a size 6 with a narrow foot, I did not find this to be accurate. I have already received the 6, and still think the heel is loose. Otherwise, these were the most flexible and comfortable hiking shoe I tried with the others being Oboz and Merrel.

I've been wearing these for years and needed a new pair. However, there was too much heel slippage to keep them. Very disappointing.

I wanted to love these shoes...but the heal was just too wide. Major slippage!

These were very cute, and many parts of the shoe (arches, insoles, width) fit really well. Very unfortunately, they slip on my heels as I walk, which is not terribly uncomfortable when trying them on. However I imagine this will pose a problem when I trek all over Europe this summer. Going to try the Targhee III and hope for the best!

Initially thought they were too tight and immediately ordered half size up to see if that was going to be better. The next size felt wrong and went back to original size which is a good fit. Sturdy very cute shoe with awesome support and wide enough for my very wide feet in size I usually take. However the heel is quite loose. Purchased little pad to see if that helps. Maybe need to use more than one. This never happens to me but I see others have made same exact comment.

I strongly recommend that you buy your normal street size in this style of Keen's. I range from a women's 9.5 to 10 in most shoes/boots. I wear a 9.5 in a pair of Keen sandals and even have a 10.5 in a pair of Keen winter boots (I have never had to purchase a 10.5 in any other shoe before or since). I have back issues and plantar fasciitis that cause me foot pain, and I find true relief when I wear Keen's. I don't understand why their sizes range so much, yet I fell it is worth the efforts of finding your proper size in their shoes. Your feet will thank you!!

I have a really wide forefoot, but as other reviewers have said, the heel is just too gapingly wide. I tried the Oboz Sawtooth but it has too much of a toe taper and causes squeezing of my MTP joints, which is the issue with Merrels, too. Wish Keen would recognize a market for women who need the wide forefoot but not a wide heel, too.

Overall, these are very comfortable shoes. The tongue area and near the top laces hugged my upper foot area uncomfortably, so I ultimately had to return them. No amount of relacing fixed the issue for me. These are roomy and supportive shoes.

I liked so much about these shoes -- the fit, the color, and that they are waterproof -- but that too-wide heel that others have mentioned meant that they simply wouldn't work for me. I hope that Keen reads the comments here and updates the Targhee II with a less-wide heel!

The Dec. 2018 version of the Keen Targhee II varies a few ways from my older make of same shoe. First the foot opening and heel area seem possibly larger. Unless properly laced my heel tends to slip out of these. Next half size down too small.

The shoes has wide toe box that helps my bunion! They are a bit lose at the heel so when I walk, my feet seem to slip off the shoes a little bit. They also help my heel pain! This is my first pair of Keen and I just broke them in. So far they feel good on my bunion/ plantar faciaitis!

Size-ordered my usual size. Shoe is wide all over-difficult to lace up tight enough to keep feet from sliding- difficulty may be due to large tongue-hard to keep it tucked in. Shoe color is great-feet stay dry and warm. Best feature for me is the stability and good tread; hard toe area protects on trail & rocky areas.

I spent A LOT of time deciding which shoes I needed for work, and I decided on these for several reasons, but mostly because many people told me they’d be great and comfortable on my feet 10 hours a day. In reality, they are very cute, lightweight, durable and sturdy. They are definitely more comfortable than the shoes I had before, but I *dearly* wish they had better arches - it would be a worthy improvement. I’m happy with my purchase.

Fit fine. But it makes your feet smell terrible.

I have been wearing these for a number of years and have loved them. I wore down my current pair and ordered new ones. I failed to see that they are running small. I tried them on and bought another company's boots instead as they didn't feel right. I am hoping my current order of a larger size will do the trick as generally, I find they are comfortable, good arch support and last a good while.

Not a stranger to Keens, I ordered these in the same size as my Keen Whispers and Kaci winter boots. I was surprised by how wide they felt. Not just roomy in the toe box, as is standard with all Keens (and one of the reasons I like my Keens so much), but wide all over. My heels slipped when walking, and overall the shoe felt unstable. It also felt much heavier and clunkier than my other Keens. I can usually stabilize heel slippage with the heel lock lacing method, but because of the way these shoes are made, that wasn't an option. If you have a wide foot overall, these might be a great choice for you. If, as I do, you simply require something with a roomy toe box, these probably won't work.

I was shocked to read the many reviews about these being small - for me they were way too large! I ordered them in 9.5, my most common Keen size, and they feel like at least a 10. They are large overall, the arch is way too far forward, and I didn't get a real feel for other aspects because I knew immediately they were too big (I only tried them on). I find Keen sizes in general inconsistent, but 9.5 is my average size. (I have Keens in size 8, size 8.5, size 9, and the majority 9.5). The Targhee II is at least a half size larger than the Keen Targhee Exp WP I ordered at the same time, in the same size. Also, the heel is much higher than the Targhee II. They are a nice looking shoe, though. I ordered the olive black/mineral blue color and the black in the image is very accurate - it looks black.

I really love this brand but the toe box just cuts a little too tight on the inside and my big toe rubs. Had to send them back.

These fit me perfectly in the toe box, but not in the heel. Too wide in the heel.

Usually wear Keens right out of the box with no looking back, and fit/comfort have never been an issue. This one did not fit my heels at all
