Keen Targhee II - Great hiker/climber! The treads are excellent grippers and I like the rubberized toe. Super comfortable and a great look too. I found the sizing pretty accurate. I wear a 6 1/2 - 7 depending on the shoe. I ordered a 7 which is plenty roomy, but I have a narrow foot. If your foot is wide, you should definitely go up a half size.

Great hiking shoe - My wife and I have hiked quite a few miles in the Keen Targhee II shoe and we have found it to be one of the best fitting shoes we have ever worn. The fit in the heel is snug, so no blisters on our heels. There is a roomy toe box but we had no problem going down steep hills. It is also a cool shoe and does not give you that burning sensation on the bottoms of our feet at the end of the day.

I love, love, love these shoes!!! I walk 4 miles a day on a pretty rough trail. My feet were suffering and I had no luck with the majority of shoes I tried. I got the Keens yesterday, walked my 4 miles today, and all I can say is "WOW"! What a difference! I can now enjoy my walk and focus on the burn in my legs, rather than foot discomfort. So comfortable, even with the blisters I have from the other shoes. They feel much lighter than they look and the soles provide great traction, even on loose gravel. I did read the reviews and ordered a half size larger than I normally would, and the shoes fit perfect.

These ROCK!!! They need little breaking in before you are ready to hit the trail, you stick to rocks, so hills are no issue, no wrestling with the laces...and they look wicked!! My new favorite hiking shoe!

Works for Even a Narrow Foot! I have a narrow foot, but the Keen shoes with laces reliably fit my feet, great support, easy walking from day one.

Love 'em! I own 2 pairs of Keen’s, I immediately loved the style, and they are comfortable to wear! Didn't even have to break 'em in! Take a chance on these you'll love the arch support!

Comfortable! I actually got these shoes to wear at work...in a Doctor's office. They are surprisingly light weight and I can walk all day in them! They are a little bulky, so they look strange with jeans. My husband got the men's version of this shoe and thought they were a little smaller than marked so he had to return them and get a 1/2 size larger.

I LOVE MY KEENS!!!!! Wow, these sneakers are AMAZING!... I was turned onto Keen by a friend. I was hesitant at first to spend $110 on a pair of shoes. I am so glad now I made the investment. I ordered my shoes, and was so excited to get them... I received them this AM, and have been wearing them all day... I am planning a trip to Hawaii and these are perfect travel accessory... I am now more motivated to get out and hike... I plan on ordering more Keens... SO COMFY!! LOVE KEEN!!

Order a size larger! I have several pair of Keens. I love them, but they all run small. Order at least a half size larger, if not a whole size.

Costa Rica trip - Comfortable from the minute I put them on, great traction in rain forest and on light hiking trails.

Great feeling shoe - I wear an entire shoe size larger than I usually wear. The shoe felt great the first time I wore it. I wore it all day without a blister or a problem. My only negative comment is that this shoe doesn't have much breath ability and made my feet feel hot and sweaty.

Great shoe. Very comfortable. I can use my orthotics in them. As suggested by another customer I ordered 1/2 size larger and this worked well.

Rugged looking and excellent walker - A very cute walking shoe that I purchased as a gift for my girlfriend who is very particular about footwear comfort. The sole is sturdy yet flexible for our daily walks and she says the arch support is very adequate even though it is not a major feature compared to other walkers. The styling is more functional but with a rugged/cute factor that is very attractive and looks good with comfortable clothing.

Comfortable and supportive, if goofy looking - The asymmetrical lacing thing takes a little getting used to; but these are incredibly comfortable. Highly recommended! My orthotics fit perfectly BTW.

Great walking shoe - I love this shoe. Although it's not a shoe to be worn to work (even on "casual" days), it's so comfortable to walk in. I wear it for every day errand running or power walking. My back doesn't bother me at all. I read the reviews on this shoe and everyone is 100% correct. It's a great shoe!! AND ZAPPOS is awesome!!!

Great walking or hiking shoe!! Excellent! Extremely comfortable even on long walks. I have other Keens but I like this one the best!! Zappos has great customer service. They never complain when I return shoes that don't fit or are not what I expected. These shoes arrived the day after I ordered them. And free shipping both ways as many times as is needed. These are the most comfortable shoes that I have experienced for hiking and walking.

Love Keen! I bought these shoes due to the other reviews; we are going to Hawaii and plan to hike a lot, so I needed a comfortable shoe...fast. The Keen footbed is great, I have other Keens, and the shoes really don't need any breaking in. I did order an 8 1/2 when normally I take 7 1/2 or 8. I haven't been on any long hikes yet but I've been walking a lot and hiking some and these feel great! I ordered two pair for sizing and Zappos is always great with returns!

Great support for high arches and narrow feet. I've been considering these shoes for the past year for light hiking and jogging in wet conditions. I had plantar fasciitis and am very particular about arch and overall support from a shoe. The shoe runs about a half size small, but accommodates my orthotics beautifully. My feet are very happy! I also love the color combination that I finally found at Zappos: Steel grey with purple grey trim--they go great with jeans and my hiking clothes. Warning: they do get warm because of the waterproof material.

Targhee II - Ordered half size bigger. My tibia and knee were broken two years ago and this shoe has provided great stability for entire leg. Has made a huge difference in my comfort level while active with my horses.

Targhee II - I have a pair of Keen Taos which I wore, hiking throughout the Middle East, including up Mt Sinai and through several rugged days in Petra. I loved them right out of the box and they really held up. We have a six day hike planned for the Sierras and I wanted the same comfort without the ventilation. The Targhee II are PERFECT! They are more solid and offer more support (they are a true hiking shoe), but have that same, made for your foot feel. I need to order 1/2 size up in these shoes. Love them. Hardly need any break in!!!

Great for Costa Rica - I just returned from a low budget two week trip to Costa Rica and brought only two pairs of shoes, these and the Keen Catalina. These shoes were great for muddy trails and nice enough to wear out. I ordered a half size larger, at first my heel slipped, but once I wore regular hiking sock it was fine. These shoes are comfortable and well made. Well worth the price!

The best!! Just returned from a trip to Europe and these were my only walking shoes. I loved them. They are by far the best shoes I have owned. Also, the color is great and they love the washing machine!
