These shoes fit perfect right out of the box. As a farmer, I wear them to work all day, everyday. They are comfortable beyond words!

Great shoe. Felt really good. I needed a half size larger and this shoe didn't come in a 10.5.

This is my 4th pair of these shoes. They have no equal. There is plenty of room in the toe box for your foot to spread out. You feel very supported while completely comfortable. You will not be disappointed with this shoe.

Comfortable, durable, waterproof, what more can you ask? A bit large in the heel but that is easily remedied with inexpensive heel inserts. My second pair so I'm satisfied. I'll do it again as we travel a great deal. My only concern is availability of replacement laces should it ever be required.

I am a farmer and 3 years ago couldn't work because of a severe case of plantar fascia. I got corrective arch supports and bought a pair of targhee II and have worn them every day since. I'm on my third pair. There is plenty of room in the toe box for the stooping and kneeling that I do, they are heavy duty enough to protect my feet from the sharp tools and rocks that i encounter, they stand up to the large amounts of dirt and water that I deal with and my socks and feet stay pretty clean! The support that I get from the shoe itself and my arch supports, keeps my feet in perfect working order. And the rubber toe is perfect for squashing the bugs that I don't need on my farm!

I am a huge fan of Keen shoes! I have several pairs of different types of shoes and I have always been satisfied the the Keen product. I have hard feet to buy shoes for and the Keen brand always seems to work well on my feet. I started to wear the Targhee II right out of the box and as a review I had read wrote "They were comfortable from the get go." I found that to be true and I am happy with my purchase. The only draw back I have found, at least for me, is that heel cup seems just a little loose on my foot. Granted due to the warm weather I am wearing thin socks so I am thinking that once I put on thicker socks that may due the trick. Keep up the good work, Keen!

This shoe has excellent traction. I do find the Targhee II is rather heavy. I have a problem making the laces tighter.. I also have the Keen Genoa Peak WP, they are lighter in weight and with the lacing holes I can make them tight.

I have been a fervent lover of Keen for years. I recently picked these up as a day hiker/weekend work and general outdoor activities shoe. I did a find that they are about a half size small, so I would recommend ordering a half size larger. Width-wise, they are perfect, but the length is too small in my regular size. Otherwise, insanely comfortable, as I have found all Keens to be. Extremely supportive, attractive and rugged!

This is my second pair and it fits as well as the first. Comfortable right out of the box. Took them on a walking trip to England a few days after purchase and they felt great all day long.

Best shoes I've ever had! I got two pairs of Keens and two Merrells to try because I wasn't sure of the size or width in both brands. I have wider feet and plantar fasciitis so I needed good support. I thought the Merrells were good, although a little narrow and tight in the toe - until I tried these on and, Wow! The Keen’s wider toe box rocks. I usually wear an 8.5 so I got a 9 and they're perfect. I went camping and I felt like a mountain goat walking over dips in the ground and tree roots. So sturdy and so comfortable, I can't say enough good things about these shoes.

I have only tried these out inside, but my word of advice when you order is to get them a size larger! I am normally a 6, but I got 2 pairs - a 6.5 and 7. Much to my surprise, I definitely needed the 7. That's a first for me. They are very comfortable right out of the box. I am anxious to try them on the trails soon.

There was no break-in period with these shoes. I have custom orthotics. I slipped them underneath the insoles and they fit perfectly. I usually wear a 7.5 so I ordered a size 8 to accomodate my orthotics and two pairs of socks. These shoes fit me like a glove! They hug your feet where they are supposed to. The traction is superior. They feel like four-wheel drive for your feet. I am so pleased with these shoes, that I purchased a pair for my husband. He loves them also. Again I ordered a half size larger for him and the result was a perfect fit. I like that they are shaped like a foot. I dislike shoes you have to cram your feet into.

Nice shoe but the size I ordered was too large. I could have returned them for a smaller size but since the Merrells I ordered fit well and are very confortable, I will be sending these back to Zappos. I really appreciate Zappos free shipping and return policy.

These are the best shoes so much so that I don't want to tell you because I want them all to myself. Great arch support and great for people with arch weakness.

Excellent hiking shoe - When these arrived, I was on my way out to take my evening walk with the dog. I tried them on and thought they were so cute that I wore them on the walk. Very glad to report that these shoes are super comfortable. Have had them for about a month and hike every weekend in North GA. Tad loose in the heel area but doesn't affect overall comfort. I do have a somewhat narrow foot. I ordered a half size up as suggested and find the toe box to fit perfectly.

These look and feel great, although I need a size larger than I ordered. I am not sure they are the right shoe for me since my ankle was loose in back. I have never had that trouble before.

Comfortable, excellent support. I have plantar fasciitis, so I am very careful about the shoes I wear. I would buy this shoe again. (They easily take my orthotics.)

Good cushioning - I returned 2 other brands of hiking shoes before ordering these. I'm definitely keeping these. The cushioning is great. I bought insoles to replace the ones they come with, but found that the ones they come with are better. The pads on my feet are usually very sore after a long hike, but not with these shoes. The tongue is a little weird, but great once you get used to it.

Perfect for Yellowstone! Perfect fit for lots of walking! So very comfortable for all day wear. Yet another perfect pair of Keens!

Cute, comfy shoe - This shoe fit true to size. Its heel is a little big but hasn't caused any blisters. I didn't notice much arch support when I first put them on, but after the insole started shaping itself to my foot, it came through. They have good traction and are warm - I walked to my office in them this morning. It was -5F and the ground was covered in ice and hard-packed snow, but I didn't slip or get cold feet, even though I'm just wearing a cotton sock.

Love this shoe! I think these shoes are great. Super comfortable and will be great for hiking.

Let’s go hike! So this is my very first pair of Keen shoes and I adore them! Weather here is not so lovely yet, so I've only gotten the chance to wear them a few times hiking. They're the most comfortable shoe I've owned. I love the style and amazing arch support. I would recommend them to someone in search of a fine hiking shoe.

World's best shoe - I am 69 1/2 years old and have never had a more comfortable pair of shoes. They do run a little small, so I ordered a size up. I also wear them with Thorlos socks, the most comfortable sock in the world. Thanks for the great and great service. (I placed my order on Tues after 5pm and received them at 10am following day.) Sorry to return them - Loved the way these shoes looked but even at 1/2 size up from my usual 10 they were too tight and too short. I ended up keeping the Presideo that I had ordered along with them.

Great Shoe! I bought these shoes before a week long camping trip. They were the only shoes I ended up wearing the entire time. They did not require any breaking in, and I was able to wear them on some moderate to rough trails with no blisters or throbbing feet at the end of the day. They really were water proof and actually had good traction for tromping through creek beds, and I have even taken to wearing them to shovel snow. I recommend this brand to all of my family. Make sure to order a half size up.
