Keen Targhee II - Awesome! No break-in time, most comfortable shoe I have bought. Well worth the x-tra money. Order 1 whole size larger than you normally buy.... They run SMALL.... GREAT!

Just what I had hoped they would be. If I had purchased them in a store, I would have tried on a size larger. My toe has hardly any room between them and the end of the shoe. Since it was mail-order, I kept the size that I had ordered. The arch, general support, cushioning, and tread are superb.

Worth the cost! So excited to finally have my Targhee's! An amazingly comfortable and versatile shoe. I had to order the 1/2 size up as suggested. A little warm, but I'll get over it. Many compliments. An everywhere shoe - work, trail, stage, shopping - you name it and Keen takes you there in total comfort. Highly recommend this shoe!

Most comfortable shoe I've ever worn - I was looking for a good city-walking shoe and decided on these based on the reviews AND because they seemed like they would be a good multi-purpose hiker. I'm not a "wear sneakers all the time" person, but I don't want to take these off! I suffer from plantar fasciitis and the arch support/cushion ratio in this shoe is fantastic. A little clunky and heavy for everyday wear, but overall great comfort. Definitely order up a half- to whole size. I normally wear a 7, ordered a 7.5, and probably could've even gone to an 8.

I was born to wear these - I have three pairs of Keen's Newport H2 - I love them. I wear them year-round, and freeze in the winter brrr :) so... I ordered the Targhee II, hoping they would be as comfortable, supportive and wearable as my Newport's. They are perfect. They have never felt like new shoes - from day one they delivered what I have come to expect from Keen's. The arch support is priceless. I have arthritis and have shooting pains down my legs, except when I wear my Keen's...I did order a 1/2 size larger in the Targhee II, as recommended by info@keenfootwear.com

Great Day Hiker - These shoes are very comfortable and are pretty neat looking, too. They are very high quality (which I've found with most Keen shoes) and are definitely worth the extra money. One comment I have are that Keen shoes are extremely difficult to buy online because each of their different styles fit differently. These particular ones are sized at least a half size smaller than they actually are. I typically wear a size 7 shoe, but get a 7.5 boot/hiker. I had to order a size 8 in these! Zappos makes it very easy though, with their great return policy.

Cannot wait to go hiking - Will return these for a size 9 1/2 - I wear a full size larger in athletic shoes to compensate for supportive socks and feet that swell with hours of walking and climbing. I cannot wait to go hiking in these.

I don't want to take them off! These are super comfortable shoes. I wasn't so sure when I first put them on, but I gave them an hour and didn't want to take them off. They even fit perfect with a pair of wool socks.

Very comfy. No break in time needed. Order 1/2 size up unless you wear thicker socks. Thick hiking socks like smart wool- need go 1 full size up. I got the blue gray ones. I like the color. Walking in water was no problem.

Great Low Hikers - Great low hiker for long or short hikes; truly water proof. Wore them with no breaking-in period for a 5 mile hike and they felt great. I have a Keen clog in size 9 but needed 9.5 for these hikers. Happy with this find!

Order a FULL size up! This style runs small even by Keen standards. I always order a half size up when I get Keens, but these are still snug for me in the larger size. I'll send these back for a WHOLE size larger exchange. That said, they are great shoes. Awesome looks, great stability. The charcoal/violet color is mostly grey, very little violet (to my eye). I'm very thankful for Zappos unsurpassed customer service.

Great shoe. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a half size larger. I'm glad I did...the larger size was a perfect fit. The sole of the shoe is durable and the toe guard is great. To break them in I took a quick 12 mile hike. Comfortable the entire way.

Great Shoes! The Targee II is incredible! I work all day long at a kennel, dealing with dogs pulling me down wet, slippery walkways and these shoes allow me to keep on my feet without slipping around. They are very comfortable to work and play in all day. I didn't even need to break them in - great from the 1st day! The fit is true to size

Keens are the best shoes I own. Started off with Newports (I have 2 pairs) , which I wore when I hiked Grandfather Mountain this summer in NC, then wore them whitewater rafting on the same trip, looked like they had never gotten wet. Bought the Targhees for winter wear and a trip to Europe. Wore them brand new, and walked the streets of Paris and Nimes for 2 weeks, never hurt my feet once, feet were not even tired by the end of the day. They look good with jeans or khakis, very stylish. Definitely order a half size up when ordering. Pricey but well worth the money.

I love Keens! Whenever I buy anything other than Keens I end up regretting it. This brand makes the most comfortable shoes on the planet. I ordered the Targhee II as a walking shoe even though it looks more like a low hiker. Either way, it has been perfect for everything I do in them. Walking across campus, through the mall, around the neighborhood, hiking trails and mountains of Arizona. I feel like I'm walking on clouds in these. Someone mentioned that Keens are more comfortable than bare feet, and I agree. With the Targhee I had no initial break-in period like I've had with other Keens. They were comfortable straight out of the box. You will not regret paying more for Keens. I have three pairs now, and the two older pairs have lasted forever, as I suspect my Targhees will. You definitely get your money's worth with Keen.

The best shoe - I hiked a 6000' mt. in Germany in these shoes. No blisters, no sore feet, great support. I'll never wear anything else. Just order 1/2 size up.

These Keen's Rock! Love 'em! Did have to return my regular size and buy a half size larger than normal. But once I found the size that fit they are super comfy and really cute for hiking, work, etc.

Awesome shoe for problem feet - I have major joint pain in my feet and also have plantar fasciitis. I wear custom orthotics in all of my shoes EXCEPT these!! The toe box is roomy and the arch support is great. They have great heel stability and I can shop, hike or walk for hours...no orthotics needed. As a nurse, I wish I could wear them to work!! I have tremendous difficulty finding shoes that I can wear for more than an hour due to my foot issues. They are worth every penny spent. Can't put a price on comfort.

Perfect trekking shoes - Took these bad boys to Peru. They are perfect for trekking, equally comfortable and practical with lots of traction.

Trail sneaker - Love them. Super comfortable with great support. Highly recommended. Order 1/2 size up.

Awesome Targhee's - After a couple of weeks breaking in my new Targhee’s I put them to the real test on a 12 mile hike and they were awesome! No foot pain - these are a great hiking shoe.

The only reason I had to return these was that they slipped very badly in the heel

Very nice shoe, just not for me. I could tell right out of the box that they were too narrow for my foot. Went with the Keen Voyageur instead.

I wear an 8.5 and my toes touch as I walked. Trading for a nine. I hope these work.

I saw the reviews saying it ran small but took a chance on my regular size since Zappos was out of bigger sizes and I'd heard how comfortable these shoes were. Well, they were comfortable, except for being too small. Sadly I have to send them back but think I would've otherwise liked them and I'm very picky about shoes.
