Sending back due to poor fit and construction. Ordered two sizes to compare. Wondering if size 8 is a Knock off as the color is brown, tabs on front toe do not show a full ‘K’ and no ‘Keen’ ID on the tongue. Also- big mark kinda like a small dog bit the toe area on the left shoe. Size 8 was made in China. The size 8.5 was made in Thailand. It is the color as described online. There was no lace strap at top of tongue on 8.5 Returning both ASAP

The toe box was not wide as other reviews had stated or at least for my foot with bunions and a hammer toe. The shoe was poorly constructed at the top by the laces. Needless to say I returned this shoe. I was disappointed in Keen as I have purchased Keen shoes in the past.

I know others love Keens, but I don't know how. I've tried different versions numerous times, and have never got a pair to fit right. The Targhee II was no exception and one half-size up and my toes still hit the front of the shoe. A full-size up felt okay for length but then my heels slipped out of the shoes with each step. As other reviewers said, there's no way to lace them tighter (like additional eyelets on the sides as with running shoes). You can only pull the laces wicked tight, which makes your foot start to go numb. I know these have great reviews but I would tell people to not even bother and try something else.

These shoes will keep your feet dry; however, I spent a great deal of time breaking them and still have had enough blisters that I had to return from a hike early. Each time I have hiked more than 5 or 6 miles I come home blistered and cut. I am wearing the correct size (I went to was fitted for the pair I have).

This shoe is very narrow. It was the most narrow of all the hiking shoes and boots I tried (and I tried 5 different Keen and Merrell styles). I did go up 1/2 size but it was too tight across the top of my foot. It was already slipping on my heel, so there was no option to up another 1/2 size. I ended up keeping the Merrells. I will add they my husband bought the mens style 1/2 size up for himself and loves them.

Have been my favorite hikers. Bought some New Balance to switch up.

this will be my second pair. excellent comfort, waterproof, sturdy.

Glad to have these. Tried the III and it is NOT an improvement. I hope they continue to make these.

My last pair lasted for years, finally time to get a new pair. These are great walking in the winter boots.

Fits well, except that it is a bit wide in the heel. I wish there was a way to tie it like I do my athletic shoes. These are not my first pair of Keens, nor will they be my last as they seem to fit my foot better than some other brands. Happy Hiking.

I sized up one half size due to my wider, flat feet and also due to pronation. This was perfect. The only downfall is that I cannot tie the laces tight enough for my liking so I will probably replace with "normal" laces. The first day I wore them for a two mile walk and didn't even feel like I needed to break them in.

Keen's are the only hikers I buy and have been wearing them for 10 years or so. Even hiked Kilimanjaro in my last pair! Replace them every 2 or 3 years depending on miles logged. Really glad they went back to the wider toe box. I typically wear a 6 in most shoes, but need a 61/2 in Keen's. Highly recommend.

very comfortable and light weight. they run a little wide but I was able to adjust the laces to fit while still offering room if my feet swell

I love these boots - went hiking in them the first day I got them. They are actually my 5th pair of Keens. This just really fit my feet and I can wear them all day

Stiff and sturdy support, just what I was looking for. And they look cute on my big feet!

I love this shoe. I think it is the 4th or 5th time I have purchased these shoes. I have problem feet and need just the right shoe to be pain free. This shoe works in every respect. It wears well, is waterproof and accommodates my insoles. I train dogs, hike and garden and this shoe is perfect for all my outside activities and it looks good too.

I love these shoes! I never by shoes online bc well.... we all know it’s usually a p.i.a. But I went ahead and did only because I already had a pair of the targee III that I loved and even though the some of the reviews said they had to return then bc of whatever reason, I divided to go ahead bc I know I like the last version so much. I’m so glad I did! These shoes fit my wife feet perfectly. I take a 9.5 usually and that’s what I bought. They are much thicker and rugged i should say so they are a real hiking shoe for sure. I love the wide laces. I love everything about them. I will purchasing more for sure.! Thanks Zappos for your amazing customer service too.

These are really comfortable and not too un-stylish. Love them for walking my dog every day. They pick up a lot of dirt in the treads.

I love the Keen Targhee II hiker shoe. I know that I can work all day on my feet and not worry about my back or legs hurting. Fabulous shoes! Hope Keen keeps making them, although I'd like to see them in shades of green, not just in blue or purple. Also, I love working with Zappos! so friendly, reliable and easy to work with, even in returns!

Was hesitant about spending this much money on my first pair of hiking shoes...best investment ever!! Wore them around the house a few hours to break them in and POOF they fit like a glove and now I am wearing them all Of the time

These are an investment for me. I am replacing my old keen hiking boots with these lighter weight shoes. Love them and my feet are happy! Thank you!

Shoes are tricky for me. I like a little heel, as I am only 5' 5". Also, though fashion is far from my middle name, I like a good-looking shoe. This pair of Keens fulfills both of my vain needs, as well as the more practical ones-like physical therapy and hiking. It is my second pair of Keens, water shoes are my other pair, and I will be exploring more Keen models in the future.

Love these, they look ruggedly cool. I wear them to work and hiking. I have bunions and a high arch - shoes have not hurt my feet yet.

Fit is ok, they're still a little stiff but I'll break them in
