Love the feel, look like my grandfather's orthopedics - The reviews I read before buying said they ran small, I ordered a size up and it is almost too roomy. They feel great on and come w/ a DVD explaining the concept. Love them just wish they weren't so Herman Munster-esque.

You will love them! After reading up on these carefully engineered shoes, I decided to try them to see if wearing them all day helped ease my chronic back problems. They did. My posture is improved when I walk in them, taking pressure off my back. They are comfortable to walk in all day. I ordered my regular size, plus another pair a 1/2 size larger just in case they ran small as I like to wear heavier socks. I ended up keeping the 1/2 size larger pair. Initially when I first saw them I said "UGH" regarding the looks, but I quickly learned to love the way they look.

Priceless! I was as skeptical as the next person about how a pair of sneakers could be worth spending $250 - but I had been trying to get relief from plantar fasciitis (heel pain) for almost a year and was told that these shoes might help - they helped immediately! They are also supposed to tone your legs as you walk - which is a nice bonus!

Best Investment Ever! This MBT shoe has enabled me to already lose 16 lbs because I'm up and walking again in spite of my heel spurs. It took about 2 weeks to really feel comfortable with my new style of walking, but now I don't even notice. This shoe is the best thing I have ever done for myself.

Buns O' Steel - Wanted this shoe to give me a little boost in the bum. Definitely has worked. My leg and tush muscles are tighter. Feel it in the core too. Would highly recommend if you are looking to take a workout or a walk to the next level.

MBT'S ARE THE BEST - I've been plagued with foot problems for years and since I've been wearing MBT's, my feet have never felt better. The greatest shoes in the world. They take a while to get used to, but give them time...they're magic.

The most comfortable shoes my feet have ever had. It took me less than an hour to get use to the rocking motion of these great shoes. Once you put them on, you're sorry to take them off. I'm sure that I'll get at least the Wall Street shoe if not another one as well. Expensive but extremely comfortable and worth it, even though they may look a bit strange from the side.

Hhmmm... I really like these shoes...however, it's disappointing that it is so challenging to find the right size. My true shoe size is an 8.5, which is what I started with...but my toes came right to the end. Tried the 9, still didn't feel quite right...then tried the 9.5, and finally settled on the 9. It doesn't usually take that many sizes to find a shoe that fits well. There is still a little heel slippage, and I'm wearing thick socks, will have to get some even thicker hiking socks to see if that helps with the slippage. I've only had them a few days...but already my thighs are more cut, and can feel more lift in the bum muscles...yeah! The price of these shoes is outrageous, for being entirely synthetic. I hope the other reviewer's that don't like these, list them on e-bay so someone else can enjoy them. I would get an 8.5 next time (true size). They also run a little a little wide. Zappos has the best customer service, and if you are shopping for a new pair...get two sizes, so you can make sure you are getting the right size, before committing to such an expensive purchase.

MBT shoes - I ordered and received these shoes in record time. The fit is great (true to size)! The support is great!! I have walked in these shoes now for 5 days and I can feel the difference in my calves, thighs and buttocks!! What a great way to exercise these parts of the body just by walking!!! Love these shoes!!!

Great shoe! This shoe was recommended to me by a family member because we both have foot and knee problems. She advised it wasn't a cure all, but it sure did help her a lot. I now come home after work and my feet do not bother me nearly as much as before. These shoes are expensive, but so far to me very much worth it. It's too bad they can't be more affordable for more people to be able to enjoy. GREAT SHOE!

Great shoe - The shoes does everything the advertisement promised. Only I find them rather wide. For people with a narrow foot, it may not be a good fit. I wear a 8.5-9 C and chose a 39 2/3.

Incredible shoes - This is my fourth pair of MBT shoes. The benefit that I have received from wearing the MBT shoes include a decrease in lower back pain and an increase in overall physical well being. I would recommend these shoes to anyone looking for improvement in physical and emotional well meaning. These shoes help provide the ability to walk upright with balance and an awareness of physical stamina and strength. I wear my MBT shoes every day. P.S. Zappos service is so INCREDIBLE!!! Words can not describe the appreciation that I have for a company that is so dedicated to service. I will continue to be a loyal and dedicated customer - recommending them to everyone I know and care about.

Very Comfortable - I found this shoe to be great for people with wide feet. There is plenty of toe room if you order a half size larger than what you normally wear. The only thing to make the heel not slip as others have noted is to wear thicker socks. This did the trick for me. Also I had knee pain for about a year and this has helped to alleviate 99% of this pain. I only have pain when I don't wear my MBTs for a while.

Love the MBT’s - These shoes are the best!! I am a nurse on my feet most of the time and my legs aren't tired at the end of the day. I also walk 4-5 miles in these shoes and never have leg fatigue or joint pain that I sometimes felt after a long walk!!

Unique shoes - I'm in very good physical shape. Even so, after walking just 1 1/2 miles in these shoes I can feel my thigh muscles tiring. They seem to work as promised.

Love the shoes - This shoe gives you so much energy to walk or jog more. Great for bad backs. I highly recommend it.

I cannot do without them! I've just bought my third pair of this particular shoe...have also bought the sandal....I'm a 66 year old RN and I wear them everyday and everywhere.....the first week or so I experienced calf pain, wondered if I had restless legg syndrome....but it was just the use of muscles I hadn't for awhile....I have improved posture...no back pain....no hip pain....certainly no foot pain...but the reason I have to have these shoes is the relief of the knee pain I had....I've had knee surgery....knee injections....and this shoe has saved my knees....was embarrassed to pay that much for them but when I considered how often I had to buy new 40.00 shoes and that I wear these daily for almost a year at a time....it makes sense....they are pretty ugly....some of the girls at work wear the other colorful styles....I prefer this one!...I've just discovered Zappos...bought another shoe....excellent service....will use them forever now!

The greatest! This is my 3rd pair. I wear them all of the time. Initially took some getting used to--this shoe causes you to use all of your leg muscles. Worth the price to me.

Magic Shoes - I love these shoes. I have two pairs of them now, white and black. They are very comfortable and they seem to make walking easier. You just roll along on the rocker-like sole. I can feel that I stand straighter while wearing them and they are just fun to wear.

Hip relief - My husband has been in pain for quite sometime. His hip seems to be the culprit. I insisted he order a pair of these shoes. He did and is almost effusive! His posture is better and the pain greatly reduced. He says he will always have these shoes and is ready to order another pair.

MBT low sport - These shoes are great, like walking on air. I was having a lot of feet, knee and lower back pain. After walking in these shoes, I have very little pain. There are worth it.

Walking sneaker - Absolutely love this very different type of sneaker. It's VERY comfortable and a great workout sneaker!

Wonderful shoe - I can tell I am really toning my legs daily with this shoe. I wear them daily and have many compliments; I live in a very tiny town. We only have limited places to shop. I have had back problems, since I have been hurt by a chiropractor, lower back he jammed me really hard. These shoes are wonderful, such comfort and cushion. I would recommend them highly... Back Pain? GONE! I've been wearing these shoes for 2 1/2 years. I bought them because I hoped it would help me with my daily back pain (I was taking anti-inflammatories on a daily basis). Let me also tell you that I'm active. I'm used to aerobic exercise, and I'm fit. Running is my passion and I didn't want to give it up. It was like this, I would wake up pain free, would run on the treadmill and stretch, run some errands and there she was, the back pain. Then she'll visit with me till the end of the day. Of course it kept getting worse, till the point I would get out of bed pain free and after walking around the house a little bit there she was, the back pain waiting on me to keep me company for the rest of the day. I was researching on the internet when I bumped into these shoes. Actually I was looking for some Birkenstocks when I found MBTs. I was so desperate to come up with a solution for my back pain that I made my husband drive me to Texas, about 70 miles far from where I live, to Frisco so that I could get them that very same day. I didn't want having to wait for the MTBs being shipped and stuff. They advise you to get started little by little and there is a DVD and a pamphlet that comes along with instructions. Anyway, I put MBTs on and got out of the store, did grocery shopping and the relief was so big I wore the shoes for the rest of the day. Next day I put them on when I woke up (literally) and ever since I've wore it for 2 years straight. Sandals in the summer and sneakers in the winter. I like the sandals best. No more pain, no more pills. Although I am fit, my legs got a little bit tired during the first week or so because you start using muscles that might have never been requested before. In the past 6 months I haven't been wearing them as often, I just walk on them when I exercise on the treadmill (running on them is pretty tough, it's like running on very soft sand) and I also make sure I have them on when cleaning the house and traveling. These sandals are just perfect for traveling. I'm Brazilian married to an American, so I visit my country often and a 10 hour flight can get your feet pretty swollen. Studies show that you still maintain your good posture for 2 or 3 days when not wearing the MBTs. Bottom line, they took my back pain away for good. I was told they might loose their cushioning after a year, but no. Good quality shoes, I'm still wearing the first pair of sandals and sneakers I bought. As far as muscular improvement I haven’t noticed much since I was already fit when I started wearing them. I've seen websites that would advertise the fact that these shoes improve your cellulite and things like that. MBT Company is very serious and doesn't mention anything like that. I know that some fancy spas do sell them. MBTs are bulky and heavier than normal shoes, but nevertheless very comfortable. When you find something that takes your pain away, like I found relief in these pair of shoes, you stick with it.

Relief at last for my feet. I have had problems with my feet, left knee and left hip for several years. I've had surgery for hammer toes, worn knee braces and used a heating pad on my knee at night to sleep. My neighbor told about the MBT shoes and gave me the video to watch. I just had to try them. I can't say enough good things about these shoes. I am 60 years old and would like to work 10 more years. I am on my feet all day, with my new MBT shoes, I feel like I will make it to retirement.
