No more back/knee pain. I couldn't be happier. I have no more back pain and very, very little knee pain. I ordered 1/2 size bigger as recommended. Haven't had them off since the day they were delivered - (only 2 days after I ordered.) I've told many people about these wonders. I will order another pair soon. Worth the money. Much less expensive than visits to the Chiropractor.

Wonderful Shoes - These shoes are wonderful! They are so supportive for my posture. They have also alleviated much of the pain in my knees and feet. I feel a little self-conscious in them because I am really tall and they add nearly two inches but the health benefits outweigh my embarrassment. I also own the MBT Kilima hiking boots and they are definitely my favorite shoes ever!

MBT Sport Low - I just received my first pair of MBT's and I think they are wonderful. They do run a half size smaller but the width is true. I love the look and the feel of the shoe. I will be getting more of these shoes. I have never owned a more comfortable shoe. I would recommend them to any one who has trouble with their feet. I have a pinched nerve in my right foot and the ball of my foot is always sore, but when I wear these shoes my foot feels wonderful.

Superior Footwear!!! I have brought you two new customers so far. My hips and feet are better and with no pain which I've had for a couple of years. I wear them everyday-to work. I tell everyone about them. My sister and my daughter-in laws dad have purchased them.

MBT'S Only - MBT'S are the only type of shoe I will ever buy! I have a lot of feet problems and have to wear orthodics but with these shoes I don't have to wear my orthodics. They are the only shoes I can wear without my feet killing me by the end of the day. If you have feet problems I recommend these shoes only! I could never wear sandals and I found them in sandals also! Now in the summer I can wear sandals instead of shoes like everyone else. I got them very quickly also. Zappos is the only place to buy on line for quick service! Keep it up Zappos!! You people are great!

MBT is great - I have a number of foot problems: arthritis, plantar fasciitis, and a high arch, so I was not sure about this shoe. And the MBT does take some getting used to so it is a good idea to wear the shoe around the house for a few days, but the shoe is very comfortable. The toe box is roomy and the fit is good. I liked the color black over the other colors. I wear this shoe to my exercise class and really get a workout!

MBTs Are Great - One of the few things that lives up to its hype. Great fit, immediately comfortable, and no problem getting used to them.

If you like to walk - the shoes are DEFINITELY worth it! I debated for a couple months whether I should take the chance to pay the price and not like the shoe. I'm sorry to have wasted the time! I have a flat with no arch, narrow foot. I walk daily - good weather outside, cold on the treadmill. MBT's have been by far the most comfortable shoe I have ever walked in, on asphalt or treadmill. Now they do make you walk a little different, better posture, shorter steps, great shock absorption. I also HIGHLY recommend ZAPPOS. I ordered these shoes on a Thursday afternoon and had them delivered on my front door step at noon on Friday.

I love these shoes! I thought these might be difficult to get used to, but they weren't. It's rather like walking on marshmallows! The thing I really like about them is that you can get quite a workout just standing still. You constantly adjust your balance when wearing them. If there was something I would improve in them, is that I would like more arch support. They may be built the way they are for a reason. I bought a half size larger not wanting to take a chance that they would be too small, and they were perfect. A half size smaller may have also been fine (since the toe box is so roomy) and I'll never know. I like a wide shoe, and these were plenty wide despite the fact that they were mediums. I marked 4 stars for comfort, because I had to get used to lacing them tight around the ankle, otherwise they pull off the foot a little. Perhaps ordering the exact size I normally wear would have helped.

Try 'em - I think these are going to be great shoes. My only disappointment is that they don't make them in wide sizes. Although they look big and bulky, they're still cut for medium-width feet, not wide feet. I had to order two sizes up from my normal size to get them to fit and they're still a bit tight in the toe bed, but I am hoping they will stretch out a bit. What everyone says about them seems to be true. I've done two power walks in them for an hour and my quad muscles are aching today. I know they are causing me to use muscles that have been inactive or not working properly. I have recently had a total hip replacement and am told I need these to strengthen my muscles and keep my other hip healthy, so I'm willing to do anything to make sure that happens. Having to always wear orthopedic shoes for years, I don't even mind how they look. I live in New York. They're hip here. Everyone is wearing them, so that's not an issue. They're very buoyant. I love that about them. You just have to try them, and thanks to Zappos, you can go until you find your right size. I'm normally an 11 wide, but I had to get 43 2/3 in this shoe to get it to fit, which is something like a 12 or 12.5 in women's shoes.

Great for work!! I'm an esthetician and stand on my feet to work. I love love LOVE these shoes. I don't know about the slimming part - I don't have them long enough to see a difference, but they have helped with my heel pain from plantar fasciitis. Will definitely buy them again.

These do the job! They tell you to order a half size larger on some; I suggest you take their recommendations. The shoes are amazing and my legs have never gotten such a great work out. Also extremely comfortable.

I own these MBTs and also the sandals. All the positives are absolutely true. Originally I got these for hammertoe, pronation and other foot problems that were causing foot and back pain. I had special orthotics and had done lots of therapies. After I got MBTs I just didn't want to wear any of my other shoes, I kept putting these on. After wearing MBTs for more than a year now, I can wear other shoes for periods but I always wear the MBTs for at least part of every day. One thing I have to tell you though: learning to walk right in the MBTs is critical and makes a big difference. My first pair I got from Zappos but my second pair I bought in Berlin where more than 40 shoe stores sell MBTs. In Europe when you buy a pair of MBTs a lesson is included in the price. The store and MBT really insist on you doing this. An MBT expert came to my hotel and spent one hour teaching me how to walk in them, up stairs, fast, slow. Yes really! That is why the shoes are so expensive. I realized that I had not been walking properly in them and it made a big difference to work with him. Watching the video is not enough. Sometimes stores here in US that sell MBTs have special events with MBT people coming and maybe that is an opportunity to learn too, I intend to try that because I want to check my technique after a year.

Best money I ever spent! I have plantar fasciitis and have tried EVERTYHING to make my foot stop hurting. With these shoes and Super Feet insoles (the insoles that came with the shoes didn't have enough arch support for me) my foot has totally stopped hurting as long as I wear the shoes for even just an hour or two per day. I also have arthritis in my right knee and ankle. The bonus with the MBTs is I've been able to eliminate my knee and ankle braces when I work out and no longer have any pain in either joint. The shoes are pretty expensive, but they are well worth it. This was the best money I've ever spent!

1st of now 3 pairs - I have lower back pain and a bad knee. I love the shoes and have bought the boots for work and the black ones to go out.

Terrific! They are great and worth the investment. Do read and listen to the DVD to learn how they work and break them in slowly. I had tried them on in a store, so I knew to order a 1/2 size larger.

Flying High - Well, I put them on and simply wore them for walking about, attending a birthday party for one-year olds, and doing my usual mile+ jog. There was no breaking in period required and no muscle strain. And I am nigh on 60. What I like best is the exquisite feel of cushy steps because of the thick soles. I do have a very narrow heel that moves up and down inside the shoe, but the alignment has not given rise to blisters yet. I have probably owned a dozen athletic shoes, and this is the first that my family has noted and whose looks they have complimented.

Great shoe - Excellent fit right out of the box, about a 2 minute learning curve.

Feel Great - These are by far the best athletic shoes I have ever owned. They cost far more than I am used to paying but are worth every penny. I am totally comfortable all the time. Other walking shoes I've had put my toes to sleep and I couldn't wait to get them off. I don't take these off the minute I hit the house. I will be buying more when needed.

MBT great for walking!!! These shoes are well worth the money. I found them easy to get used to walking in and could feel my legs working harder while I walk. Extremely comfortable and am planning to purchase a pair in black.

You must try them - I saw these in catalogs over Christmas and I thought what a weird looking shoe. I saw them on a technology website, and I thought I would give them another look. I decided to purchase a pair and I think I'll get another pair I like them so much. I even tried them on a treadmill without any problems. I still think they look weird, but they are comfortable and you can feel the difference they make.

Great shoes - I love these shoes. They are very comfortable. I ordered my regular shoe size 39 and they fit well. I walked the dog the first time with them and was feeling it in my legs the next day which was great. I can feel a good workout in my legs when I wear them.

I know, I know, they're ugly. But close your eyes and buy! Let me first say that everything you're thinking "What?!!?? So much $ for a sport shoe?!" and "These are hideous!" have already been uttered by most everyone wearing this shoe. My mom and sis were devotees long before I was. My mom has has her pair for at least 3 years and my sister longer than that. And let me be clear it is the *only* shoe my sister wears during casual outings. So 3+ years of knowing exactly what shoe to wear and not having that shoe break down after daily walking and other physical activity is king of extraordinary. I've done the math to make it make sense, but hey, we're all frugal and extravagant about different things, so you'll know if it's right for you. Now on to the shoe itself: It's difficult to describe the sensation of wearing this shoe. It's a bit of a balancing act--not at all the feel of wearing platforms, but more like the sensation of controlled instability (if that makes any sense at all.) You don't become a human weeble, but you get to tighten up the little muscles that provide tone. Now about all the cellulite claims: I cry foul on that. I never actually thought I would get airbrushed legs and believe me, I’ve read the articles about not being able to really ever change the cellulite situation--just the appearance. I get it. I get it. But I have heard from people I don't think are loopy that they've seen their upper thighs get smaller. I'm looking forward to that, but it's early in my MBT relationship, so we'll see. So here's my summary: I'd give them a shot. If nothing else, it changes up the experience. And sometimes that alone is worth every penny.

The shoes are wonderful! I have a mild case of osteoporosis and the beginning of arthritis. My feet would often hurt around the heels and toes just to stand. These shoes relieve all the pressure in these areas. I love walking again!
