It took a little while to get used to. I had to adjust my balance that first day but that's the motive behind these shoes. I love them!! I wear them as often as I can.

Yippee - What a great shoe. It has helped my heel problem and they’re comfortable.

Heed the sizing reviews - I wear a woman’s 12, or men’s 10 in most every shoe, these for sure need to be ordered a half size larger than one would normally wear. My husband has the MBT Volcano, and his needed to be a half size larger as well. I wish I had paid attention to the reviews stating this fact, I could have worn my MBT's a bit sooner, but thanks to Zappos good customer service I only needed to wait ONE day.

Walking well - I couldn't be more satisfied with this shoe. For several years I have experienced chronic pain in my knees, hips and lower back. After getting used to these shoes and then wearing them for several weeks, I have a marked decrease in my discomfort. And at the end of the day, after I have been sitting for a while, I can stand up and walk without being stiff and bent. The service of Zappos and speed of delivery was excellent. These shoes even came with a DVD explaining their use and additional information from the manufacturer.

Unbelievable! Absolutely THE BEST exercise shoe I have ever purchased! I was a little skeptical at first and a little intimidated by the price, but this shoe is amazing...worth every penny! I feel like I get a total body workout from walking. I will definitely purchase more MBT products.

I love these shoes! These are the world's greatest shoes! My husband is a physician and is often on his feet 24 hours. I bought them about a year ago for myself and I've always enjoyed them. He just bought them for himself and loves them... he rarely says that! I also think Zappos.com is an amazing company. Super fast, easy returns, perfect internet company. You will be thrilled with both the shoes and the company!!!

The World's Greatest Shoes! I love these shoes they are the most comfortable thing I have ever had on my feet. I work in retail and have to stand for long periods at a time. I no longer have foot or back pain and my energy level has increased. I was a little concerned that it would take me a while to get used to walking in the them but that was not the case. I will wear these for work and get the higher shoe for exercise.

Rock and Roll in your MBT's - This is by far the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. When I heard about them I thought it was a fad or a joke, but my wife made me drive 35 miles to the nearest store where they are sold so she could try them. The sales person asked if I wanted to try a pair and I said sure, I have nothing else to do. Well as soon as I stood up and started walking I Knew I would want a pair. They didn't have my size in the style I wanted, so as soon as I got home I hit Zappos and I now have two pair. THe shoes are fantastic and Zappos makes it easy to order and get the proper fit. I ordered the style and size I needed and kept the ones that fit and sent the others back (free shipping) It works your muscles while you walk, You can stand for hours and not get tired. It is hard to believe how wonderful these shoes are.

WONDERFUL !! There are already so many reviews on this shoe, that all I can add is "ditto". Wish this had been around a long time ago & I would not have all the back, foot, & knee troubles that I have now. But, not to worry. Wearing these takes all the pain away & NO trips to the Dr. anymore & I dont take all the drugs for inflammation & pain as I used to either !! I got my normal size of 9 1/2 ( Euro 40 1/3 ) & the fit like a glove. Also, I did not really have to "break them in ". I wore them all day the 1st day & did not want to take them off. Although some of you not used to a flatter shoe may want to take it easy on the 1st few days-til you get used to them. They are wider than other styles, but it was not a problem. In fact it felt very comfortable compared to other styles. Anyway, these are life savers & you wont be sorry. The higher price is really not a factor, for what you get in return. Just wish they come out w/ some styles so I can get some more !! And as usual, ZAPPOS is "THE BEST " !!!

I bought these shoes about 10 months ago. They are higher end, but I was having foot problems. I really liked them and they have solved my foot problems and my back does not get as tired. After 10 months they are wearing through and I need another pair. I was hoping they would last a little longer as I do not wear them full time as I have another pair of casuals. I will be ordering them again.

10 months later and still going strong - I am on my feet standing/running/crouching ALL day (8 hours), and with my MBT's I still prance to the car afterwards. After 10 months they are starting to wear down a little, but I've been wearing them 5-6 days a week, so they have been worth the hefty price (Thanks to Bill Me Later). But I'm currently trying out NAOT so I can have comfort AND style. If MBT's came out with a Mary Jane I would be all over it, and so would my co-workers who all wear Danskos. I can rave and rave about MBT's, they've even helped my mom who says her knees don't bother her anymore, but the "look" turns people off. Everyone should own at least one pair of MBT's. You actually WANT to walk for miles. Thanks to everyone who writes reviews - it helped me, so I hope this helps you. And Zappos is excellent!

MBT Sport Low - I am wearing my second pair and my husband is wearing his third! We love this shoe because it is like walking on a cloud. My husband thought he needed back surgery before he started wearing these shoes on the treadmill. Now, no more back pain.

The ugly, comfortable shoe - These shoes are Great for anyone with foot issues. They were recommended by my surgeon. The bonus is that they are also good for back problems, and I can now be on my feet for hours pain free. Younger people are wearing them to tighten buttocks and abs. so I'm hoping for that benefit as well. I no longer care what they look like -- I wear them every day and Love them!

Feels like walking on air - I was a bit skeptical about buying these sneakers because of the price and what the claims were. However, I finally gave in after seeing another woman with these on. I have arthritic knees and also plantar fascitis, so I was at my wit end. I got them and I love them!! I must admit I was a bit self conscious because of the style of the sneakers but no more. I even got a complements on them because they are different and not your usual pair of sneakers. Also, for those who have heard about MBT's will be more surprised if you purchase them because of the price, meaning it has to be worth the price. I love to wear these everyday if I can. My feet don't hurt and my knees have not bothered me in weeks! And you DO get a great workout.

Excellent Walking Shoe - I love this shoe. Order your normal size. Watch & Learn from the enclosed DVD how to walk properly in them. They take getting used to. Once you've mastered them, you'll love them. Walking in them is a great workout. Order your normal size; they run true to size. Based on other reviews, I ordered a half-size larger. This was unnecessary; however, by the time I realized it, I had already worn them and couldn't return them to exchange for my normal size.

I'd better like 'em cause they cost a bundle - Well cushioned in the arch. Keeps my heel from banging on the ground and encourages forward motion. I was afraid MBTs might have some of the same problems I had with negative heel shoes (Roots, Earth Shoes) stretching the Achilles tendon, but nothing like that has happened, and the whole feel of MBTs is more natural than negative heel shoes. I bought ½ a size larger than I normally wear - the right decision. I've taken out the inner sole which is well padded and the best I've seen, and replaced it with my orthotic. There's not enough room for both. Even at these prices I'll buy MBT again.

Comfort - I have worn MBT sandals all summer and loved them. Very comfortable and, even with a foot problem, I can walk for long distances. I ordered the Sport Low for winter. They fit perfectly, are comfortable to walk in and enable me to walk and stand for long periods even with foot problems. I was wearing 8 ½ sandal, but ordered size 9 in the enclosed shoe and it was the right thing to do.

An exceedingly COMFORTABLE shoe! I highly recommend this shoe! I find that it feels best when I wear thicker socks, especially since I had to go up half a size to get the best fit (the toe box felt too low, and pinched my big toe a little bit). Also, I have narrow heels, so the thick socks help to get a snugger fit. I have high arches, but these shoes seem to provide plenty of arch support, even though the insole doesn't look like it has much arch support. It must have something to do with the way the shoe is designed, and how your foot is guided to move in a different way as you walk in it. I got the grey color because it was the least attention-grabbing, and since my feet are a women's size 11, I try to draw as little attention to them as possible. Zappos provided great (and FAST!!!) service, and free shipping both ways, which was great because with MBTs the correct size seems to vary with the style. If you have foot problems like I did (plantar fasciitis), you owe it to yourself to invest in some MBTs. I know it seems like a lot of money to shell out, but the health benefits are way worth it! You do NOT want to go hobbling into your sunset years with aching feet!!! Also, MBTs can be resoled, unlike many other athletic shoes.

Best shoes ever! This is the most comfortable, cute walking shoe I have ever owned! I thought it was all hype when I heard about MBTs since the price is rather high and they looked funny, but I've adjusted my thinking! In fact, I think they are adorable! Because it is heaven to walk on these, my back doesn't hurt, my feet don't hurt, it's even helped my usually throbbing legs from my spider veins. You can also feel your buttock muscles working when you walk so you get extra benefits. I can shop all day in these and not get tired and they are perfect for exercise. I highly recommend them! Order your regular size... some of the other styles run small so you order up, but this shoe is normal.

Innovative! These shoes give you a new perspective on choices in footwear. They may not get your attention by looks...just put them on! If you are on your feet all day, comfort is the #1 priority. Great shoe!!!

The Shoe For Those Who Need More Attention - I needed to hike up my metabolism a bit and challenge myself, so I tried this shoe to enhance my speed walking. I've been using it for 3 years. I have a very high arch, so I also use an insert for this. It needs to be higher, so I have to have it remade.

MBT shoes live up to their reputation - I have horrible plantar fasciitis. The rocker shoe has improved the way I stand with my shoulders back. They have reduced my cellulite and reduced my my varicose veins. This is the second time I have purchased their shoes and I love my sandals.

Excellent workout and walking shoe - It took some time to adapt to the feel of the shoe, but after a few weeks I could feel the benefits. My posture was more upright and my knees felt less stressed.

Good shoe - Having worn (and loved) the MBT sandal all summer, as cooler weather set in I needed an enclosed shoe for winter. This shoe is built on a "unisex" last, and is therefore wider than the women's shoes. This is exactly what I needed with my very wide foot. I was surprised that my legs were actually sore after the first couple days of wearing them all day. I thought I was already in shape with the sandals. That said these are great everyday shoes. Just wish MBT had some cute women's styles made with the wider last.

MBT Sport Low Shoes - These shoes really work out your legs, butt, and stomach area. I use these to walk around the track 4 miles and I can really see the difference they make.
