These are not the originals! I still have my first pair but wanted a backup pair. The new ones are inferior to say the least. Not real leather, stitching looks cheap, etc.

Didn't work for me. A "hybrid" that doesn't do either thing well -- not warm enough, not cush enough, not sturdy enough. Really wanted to like this, but ... well, YMMV.

Too high on leg. Insole too spongey. Too big. I returned them.

The large was quite large and I had to return them - I was able to order the medium. but still find them uncomfortable due to they slip to the side and I can't keep them straight on my feet. If I were to order another size smaller I couldn't get them on.

The older ones were better. The foot part was wool but the upper part was not so they did not have the itch factor

Made my feet sweat, the wool top and sides don't breath as well as I was hoping. Sole doesn't have enough side support and your foot slides around too much for me. Ended up nearly rolling my ankle a few times just making a normal 90 degree turn down a hallway as my foot would keep rolling to the outside. I'm 6'0" 175lb so it's not like I have a ton of momentum or anything. Overall kind of disappointed.

I don't wear this product. It is the right size but it simply is an awkward fit and does not feel good on my feet. I would not recommend it.

I have an old slipper sock that I am trying to find a replacement for. I thought for sure this would be it, but alas no. The sock part is too long, and I kept tripping over the toe. I wore them for a week, so I don't think you would take them back. I will continue searching! I did buy another type of slipper. I like it, but I love my old slipper sock.

Hi Thanks for asking. I'm disappointed in how quick the wool is unraveling on my latest pair. I've had a few over the decades but they seemed better wool / weaving.

Functionality is good but quality is nothing close to LL Bean version that was discontinued. Unfortunately will not order again unless quality improves,

The idea of the slipper is good but the durabilty has declined. The uppers wear out relatively quickly, particularly where they join the lower part.

The original Slipper socks used fully fashioned socks: they had former heels. These from China use tube socks. That's why there are so many complaints about the way these now fit. Even the photo shows a deep pleated fold across the ankle to make it look as though they fit well across the ankle. They do not. They are hard to get on, and they bunch up across the ankle. This could be fixed if Acorn would revert back to fitted socks.

They're OK. However, your heel will constantly slip off the back and the material on the inside over the sole is nothing more than the same coarse sock material. Not comfortable at all. Acorn wouldn't allow my first negative review. They apparently screen out anything that's not stellar.

My fiance had a pair of these in the past and he absolutely loved them, so I ordered 2 new pairs for us for Christmas. I thought maybe there was a defect on these pairs or something because they fit really funny. The ankle part comes up from the very back of the heel so the fabric bunches up at the front of the ankle, and that part is puts pressure on the top of my foot/front of my ankle and feels like it's forcing my foot to the way back of the slipper. It almost feels like you're standing on the heel edge, yet there's way too much room at the toes. I'm an 8.5 typically and he's a 10.5-11, but we're both swimming in these. If it wasn't for that, they'd be great. The fabric and cushiony bottom seem comfy and high quality. Customer service tells me they've changed the design in the last couple years.. hope they switch it back. In the meantime, disappointed and returning these.

It's suggested that if you're in-between sizes to go with the larger size. Not true for the slipper socks! I got the 2X and they were HUGE. I mean, so huge as to be unwearable. Returning. I'm sure they're fine quality but since I have to pay for the return, 2 stars only.

The top of the slipper socks were so tight that it cut off my husband's circulation. And he's not a big man. Maybe Chinese men have smaller calf muscles? Since that's where these are made, I assume that may have been the problem. They looked very nice. Just won't work for him.

I had a pair of these years ago and they fit SO much better than this new pair I just got. These are too long and the sock is baggy. The size is my normal shoe size. Also, the foot bed is not near as cushy as the old ones, not even close. I have another pair of acorn slippers and the footbed flattened out within a few months, was hoping the slipper sock would be different, but it's not, sole feels like I'm almost barefoot, can feel the floor through it. Very disappointed.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. He's had a similar pair from Eddie Bauer for years and they are starting to wear out. The footbed did not have much cushion, his foot was slipping off the sides and the leather sides on the toe box were creased. The length of the foot was fine. Just an odd construction. Also the sock part went up to his knee practically. Had to mail them back at my own expense too.

I have had Acorns for years and I was replacing my last pair. I am so disappointed with this new pair because the toe box does not fit like a sock. It is sewn with 2 square corners which makes it uncomfortable and so floppy that I am afraid I will trip.
