Since this is a unisex situation, I am very uncertain as to which size to buy. I returned a large because it was huge and it wasn't clear which size to order so I returned them. Liked but haven't reordered yet due to sizing

I thought I was ordering the wool socks. All the choices looked like different colors of wool socks, I never realized that some were cotton. This is misleading and disappointing.

Actually not super impressed by the slipper, it ran large on sizing, and the slipper connected to the leather piece makes it kind of wrinkly.

I like my slipper socks but wish they were not unisex. I ordered the size for women's 8 but they are still too big. I did not return them but I think if they made male and female slipper socks, I would enjoy them more.

I do like the product and will continue to wear them. However, they do fit a little weird because the hole (where you stick your foot in) is at the heel instead of a little bit more centered. If that makes any sense. Also, the wool is a little itchy. I still like the product though.

These are well-made and warm, but they are too long for my foot.

Ordered a pair of these slipper socks and they were a little small so I passed them on to my wife. No problem there. I then ordered one size larger for myself to get a tad more length and extra width. When they arrived and I tried them on I found that "one size larger" only means one size longer. So I still have slipper socks that are to narrow and extra long. I'll keep them but they are not what I was expecting or hoped for.

My husband has heavy legs, and it was too tight on the calves and left deep marks

One of the models on the site noted "imported" on the description, so I nixed that one. Ah, the good old slipper socks are made in Maine, right? The description made no mention of "imported." They arrived today. Yeah, they're fine. But, on the sole it says "Made in China. Yeah, the website is festooned with all this "Made in Maine" stuff. Apparently, not so. I'd gladly pay more to employ Americans. - John

I am returning both pair.

Descending carpeted stairs in these is very dangerous. The leather soles are very slippery. C'mon Acorn. Get a grip and add a wee bit of silicon coating to the soles of this otherwise great product.

pretty , but runs small

This does not goon easy and feels too thin on sole. I cannot wear it.

So bummed. I purchased based off hubby shoe size and size chart, but they're too big.

It doesn't get too cold out here on the left coast, and we never run the heat. These look great, but even with my big feet, they are loose on the foot and because the calf is so tight, my foot doesn't want to get in them very well. Then the sock falls down to my ankles and the foot becomes even more loose.

Seem a bit narrow but long at first; hoping they will conform better to my foot shape after a few wearings.

While these are lovely & well made slippers, you had better have the smallest ankles on earth (or space) if you want to wear them comfortably. I'm so disappointed. I don't have particularly large ankles, but these are tight and uncomfortable around the ankle, and then super roomy/floppy in the foot. I do not understand the design. I'm hoping they stretch out a bit, because at 5'10 and 140lbs my ankles sure aren't going to get any smaller.

Old pair was made in Maine, USA. New pair was made in China. Old pair was wider and had a smooth leather bottom. New pair has a suede feel bottom. Sock is higher (too high) on new pair.

they appeared to be of good quality but the tops were too tight for my large husband

Im not sure why yall quit making them here in America other than making a joke outta yourself. I sent two pairs back for choppy build. The third pair had a snag after a week but they still worked so I took it and went on like a man.

Too large. I normally wear an 11.5 or 12 but these were too big and sloppy, even with thick socks underneath.

Sloppy fit. Feet don't stay in place on sole of slipper.

Poor quality. Loose threads and holes develop in less than a month of gentle wear. 2 stars because they're comfortable in the couple weeks before they come apart.
