Reasonably comfortable. Arch support is kind of weak and not really right under my arch. Nonetheless, very light, cushy, supportive and well ventilated. They are my house shoes. Last pair, I worked really hard and started falling apart in about a year. Durability is definitely not a strong point. Still, I love ‘em!

I like these shoes quite a bit -- they're pretty classic, but not so common that you see them everywhere. Not the most comfortable shoes in the world and don't have the best grip, but they're great for kicking around in!

Really stylish and chic, especially with white/navy tennis kit. Sizing a bit of a problem, 9.5 way too big, 9 a tad tight, especially in the length. Other than that - very pleased. Also, when the original too large pair arrived, Zappos Customer Service could not be more helpful. A replacement pair arrived the following day. I will definately buy again from Zappos. TC

These shoes are great. They run very true to size. Take a little bit to break in, but I still have a pair from 3 years ago. I just bought this one because the others have worn a bit and are not dress wear. This obviously means that they are very durable. I love these shoes and Zappos is a great site. Quick delivery and fair prices.

This is a very cool shoe. I like the simple styling. It is very lightweight and comfortable and a decent arch support. I did have to order up a half size as I normally wear an 11.5, however that size was too small so I ordered the 12 and they were perfect.

I have been a loyal customer for the last 6 or 7 years and I love this company. In all this time I have only had to return 1 item and that was because I bought the item as a gift and it did not fit. The return process was simple and easy and I got the correct size within 7 days after they received the other item. This shoe was also a gift and I am told everyday how great it is. In particular my friend says no one else has this shoe that he knows of, its comfortable and you can dress it up or down. Its very light weight and breathes just in case you find yourself wearing them longer than expected. I will always shop Zappos and I am always sending new customers to Zappos and from what I hear. They have similar experiences. Thank you and I hope you purchase this shoe and be just as happy and satisfied as my friend.

This is the perfect shoe for me for the last "1000" years. Its fit, its style, its ongoing durability. It seems to me that wider feet (me), narrow feet or in-between, you won't go wrong with this iconic shoe.

My husband who is now 32 years old had wanted a pair of Rod Lavers since he was in the 6th grade. He purchased a pair a few years ago and wears them everywhere. They are so filthy now, I had to get him a replacement pair as an anniversary gift. He loved them. I just hope he keeps this second pair clean for "special" occasions. He has nothing negative to say about them. They're his faves! I'm glad Zappos was there to replace them.

I wasn't sure I'd like these shoes, but I really do. Very comfortable. They do not run small, despite what some reviews say. I think they are true to size. They have very squishy, comfy soles. And, they look stylish, classic. I'm very pleased with them. They also happen to be the quietest shoes I've ever worn. Laugh if you must, but I'm serious. I've had lots of athletic shoes that "clop" because the soles are hard. These seem to be silent to me. So far no squeaking on linoleum either. These shoes might be very good for ninjas if they came in all black. My only complaint is that they are very low-top shoes. I'm used to New Balance cross trainers and such. These don't lace up as high and, to me, feel loose in the heel. I haven't gotten blisters despite walking a lot in them. So, make of that what you will.

I love Rod Lavers! They are the most comfortable pair of sneakers I have ever owned. This is my second pair and I recently bought a pair for my husband because he got tired of me talking about how great they were and wanted to find out for himself! He loves them too and wears them every day! I wait tables and am often on my feet for over 8 hours straight; my feet never hurt after a shift! They form to your foot and the arch support increases as they break in. The way the shoes have so many laces holes allows you to adjust them to fit your foot perfectly. I would and do recommend them to everyone!

I hate shopping. I tried these shoes on in a size 9.5 in a local store. I needed a ten but they were not available in that size so I ordered them from Zappos.com. They fit very well. They are great shoes. I would say think about buying a half size larger than you normally wear - at least that was the case for myself. They offer a good deal of support. They're lightweight. And they're nice looking. All in all, a good shoe. I am giving them an overall 4-star review. I figure for five stars they would have to lace themselves on my feet.

I was leery of ordering men's shoes and alarmed when they arrived and looked huge, compared to a women's pair I had in a similar style, but they fit beautifully when worn with lightweight athletic socks. Women's size 7 really is men's size 5.5, for my feet and these shoes, just as the Zappos guide indicated. I love these shoes. They're definitely the best Adidas shoes ever made. They're comfortable and attractive and they go with just about anything. Foot baggers love these even more than I do. I've heard rumors that Adidas may discontinue this model...please don't! I had my last pair for well over a year and wore them just about every day and they're still in great shape. I liked them so much I got another pair. You just need to wash them every few months or so to keep them white and fresh. Great shoes!
