Great shoe, very comfortable and looks great. Price is reasonable. Be aware that the side of the shoe is a nylon material that is just a little bit shiny. It is not the cloth material I was expecting.

These shoes never let me down. Every few years I get a new pair because they are timeless in design, durable and top of the line in comfort. Plus Zappos - well we all know how great Zappos is with their inventory, pricing and return policy. Oh yeah!

Minimalist construction for a tennis shoe, but reasonably comfortable. Sole is very slick until worn on abrasive surfaces for a while. Laces are very cheap and flimsy, but overall workmanship and construction are excellent for a shoe in this price range.

I ordered these primarily to play tennis in and have found them slow to break in. I promptly developed blisters on the small toe of each foot, where the seam passes down to the toe box. The arch is a bit uncomfortable too, I feel the edge of the insole against the arch of my foot. All that said, I still really like the shoes and after several matches in them I feel like they may be wearing in, finally. I still need to tape one of my toes due to rubbing on the seam. On the court they provide solid steps and the reinforcement around over the toe box is key. They are light but sturdy and seem to span the top of my foot comfortably - I don't need to crank the laces, they have a nice overall fit. Lastly, the style appeals to me, and the shoe is definitely still court-worthy despite its older design. Note: For sizing reference, I wear 10.5 in New Balance, an 11 in Nike and an 11 in this pair of Adidas.

Great shoes, but go one .5 size up. I'm a 10 but my toes were at the end of the 10. I returned for a 10.5. I'm very happy now.

Great classic shoe. Since technology has advanced in the tennis shoe world, I wouldn't suggest using these on the court, although you defiantly could. I rock these bad boys around NYC as a casual sneaker and love the way they look. I've received countless compliments on the and would recommended them to anyone.

Awesome shoe...only drawback is the slippery sole, it feels like they coated the bottom and side rubber with plastic. I'll still buy another pair because they're so smooth!

I always felt ambivalent about Rod Lavers in the past, since I generally dislike white sneakers. The style was dope, but the color was terrible. As soon as I saw them in black I had to get 'em. They have garnered compliments and the fit is perfect. Incidentally, they come with an extra pair of green laces, which look even better than the conventional black ones.

These just never go out of style. Been wearing them since the '80s! Order a half size up, I wear a 9 and 9.5 is just right. Great shoes for balance for Seniors who need a flat shoe too!

Surprisingly, these shoes were comfortable for playing tennis, as well as just walking around. I bought them for the old-school vintage look but also found them very practical. They run a little small, so buy 1/2 size larger than your usual size.

I have worn Rod Lavers for 7 years (white/green and white/navy). I was so pumped when I saw the new colors. They look awesome. I get lots of compliments. Buy these shoes!

The tone of the green is a little bit different than it appears and the shoes may hurt your feet in the first few days. not the best kind for long walks.

Overall, I like these shoes, with two issues: 1) They're sized small. I ended up needing to return a pair and re-order a half-size larger. 2) The tread of the shoe is very slippery out of the box -- I'm assuming that this is a good thing on a tennis court (where my pair will never end up) and that regular wear will undo that.

This shoe seemed to be poorly constructed. The arch felt like there was a hard piece of plastic poking up in the wrong spot (only on the right shoe) and the styling in the front gave me blisters. I thought they would "wear in." I was wrong.

Awesome shoe. I have a wide foot and these feel great despite the medium width.

Still cool after all these years. Bought for 17-year-old son -- He loves the look. They do run short from ball of foot to toes. If your toes are on the long side, size up by a half.

Great shoe! The mesh is much lighter and cooler to the feet than leather. I wear a 9 1/2 M. I had to send them back and get a 10M in this shoe. They're perfect!
