When shopping for a walking shoe, I do my homework. Between the 2 pairs I was undecided over, I read the reviews. They were of enormous help. I chose this shoe because I'm a diabetic and comfort for my feet is paramount. There were so many reviews by nurses who work 12hr. shifts in busy departments, such as Emergency, and needed the support and comfort to maintain them through their day. They were not necessarily diabetics but still chose this shoe. One particular nurse suggested sizing up a 1/2 size if using these with heavy socks. I did as she suggested and couldn't be happier with this shoe. I noticed the difference when shopping at the commissary, which is as large as a hangar with concrete floors. Did I say I was happy? I meant very happy and will buy this shoe again.

This is my annual reorder. I have arthritis and cannot tie laces so I love the 'velcro' tabs. My physical therapist makes me custom insoles and I am set for another year. I am a happy camper, and this shoe is great.

These are great for comfort! I'm not diabetic but I have severe back pain & it hurts to walk. I needed a comfortable pair of white athletic shoes so I thought these would be good. They're great! These are a bit wider than normal shoes so they won't squeeze your feet together. They're really very cushy. They're the most comfortable athletic shoes I have right now plus they don't make your feet look big or like medical-like shoes usually look...like what I used to call...little old lady shoes. But I'm older now, so I won't say that anymore.

I have bunions, hammer toes and arthritis...these are the most comfortable shoes I've had in a long time!

I have had a new job, on my feet all day, since mid August. Today, with my new Propet shoes, was the first day I felt I could have worked another 4-5 hours...no pain! Also, I placed the order on Monday and received them via UPS on Tuesday! Amazing!

Very nice looking and comfortable walking shoes. They are somewhat bulkier than I would like but that is true of all athletic shoes. These will serve me well wherever I walk.

I purchased these for my 90 year old mother. She has hammer toes which are very painful. After trying and returning several pairs of shoes(not from Zappos) she really likes these. There is room in the toe box so they don't rub.

This shoe will work for me. I have problem feet, rhuematoid arthritis, nerve pain, so it is very hard to find shoes. They helped from the first day. It's not a miracle, but it is definitely an improvement. Propet shoes have worked for me so far, and I'm happy. Size 10 EE to give toes extra room.

I purchased this shoe for my 92-year-old mother. She had a little bit of trouble with the velcro tabs at first but she got the hang of it. These are good shoes for her to have stability.

I purchased these for my elderly aunt who needs a supportive shoe that can accommodate her swollen feet. When I took them out of the box I was disappointed because they looked too narrow. There was no need for worry; they were perfect. They seem to be very comfortable and supportive without being restrictive.

I really like these shoes. I wear braces, and they work very well in these shoes. If there would be any thing negative to say about them, it would be the straps are a bit short. That could be because of the braces. This company is phenomenal to work with! This will be my only place to buy shoes!

I purchased these shoes for my mother who was having issues with swelling. She loves these shoes and says that they feel like pillows on her feet.

I am a Propet fan but this is the first time I am using this style of shoe. It felt fine immediately and only took about 3 hours of walking to really break in for my feet. I use wide shoes since I have bunions and the toe box is fine. However, my heel slips just a bit so the back must be wide as well. Wearing thicker socks corrects that. I am using these shoes to hike on vacation this year.

Finally! Sneakers I can wear! The last pair I bought were uber-hideous men's sneakers in extra wide that never fit correctly. I am overjoyed to find a shoe made for a woman's wide foot! Thank you Propet and Zappos! Wheeee!

I ordered these shoes on a Sunday, received on Tuesday, fit was large, I called about returning. Received correct size on Wednesday. No shipping or return charge. Amazing. I love the shoes, my orthotics fit they are comfy. I am a true Zappos fan. The service is tops. This is my 1st time as a customer.

I have difficult to fit feet due to age, weight and diabetes. These are perfect! They are comfortable for hours and have allowed me to start exercising again. I love them!

I love these shoes for their comfort and sturdy support of flat feet and very large bunions. My orthotics easily fit inside, and they are not as heavy as the New Balance shoes it replaced. A suggestion for improvement would be to have a narrower heel, or a way to make it fit more snugly around the heel.

My Mother-in-law likes these. We finally have found a comfortable shoe to fit around her diabetic foot. We bought 4E width.
