Zappos rocks!!! I ordered these for my mother. As promised, they arrived the next day - to her cottage on a dirt road in a small coastal town in Maine! And they are perfect in every way. As always, Zappos came thru with flying colors!

Great after break-in period - This is my second pair of Arizona’s. The first was a pair my trendy son abandoned and I adopted. They felt great from the start and I wore them as often as possible. They became my favorite shoes, so, after 2 years when they began to look to worn, I ordered a new pair. The feel of the new sandals was not the same and my feet hurt after wearing them. I was told by my wife and daughter who are also fans of Birkenstocks that the cork bed would mold to my feet and over a break-in period become custom fitted and as comfortable as the old ones. If you are new to this type of shoe, keep this in mind if the shoes do not feel 100% out of the box. If the sandals fit but your feet hurt after wearing them for a while, begin to wear them for short periods of time during the break in period. You will be rewarded with a comfortable and classic sandal. (Note: these sandals can be refurbished very well, but I think the suede uppers of these sandals would still look a little dirty even after the soles and footbed were replaced.)

Great shoes - Birkenstock shoes live up to their reputation. They are long-lasting, comfortable, and great looking. I have been wearing Arizonas plus other styles for many years and have always been happy.

Best sandal made! I got this sandal for my 20 year old son; he has a pair of the same ones since 2002! He loves them; they mold to your foot and are very comfortable. They hold up great and last a long time. You can't beat Birks!

Mom - I purchased this shoe for my 13 year old daughter, per her request. She has bad arches in her feet and was told these would be good sandals for her. She absolutely loves these shoes. Her feet don't hurt and she doesn't mind the style at all.

This shoe was purchased for my daughter. This was not her first pair of Birkenstocks so we knew what to expect. A person with a regular width foot should probably order a narrow. I am continually impressed with the Zappos web site in general. You can't beat the quick and free delivery as well as free shipping if you need to return the item. I also have bought other shoes that were priced considerably less than I have seen in retail stores. I think Zappos is terrific.

Too big!!! Great shoes, but I am always an 8 or 8 1/2 and these definitely run very big. Go down one size. Otherwise great.

I have owned a pair of knock-off Birkenstocks for over a year, but nothing compares to the actual thing. The footbed molds to your foot within a few wears and feels like a second skin. I wear them every day. And of course, no one has better customer service or faster delivery than Zappos.

This pair of shoes was ordered for my grandson who wears a size 16 and he is happy with them. Good fit.

Bought for Mom - I bought these in green for my mother (taupe for myself). She normally wears a 7; we had to exchange for a six, but she is 87 years old and shrinking, she says. Oy. Anyhow, they're great. I used the free shipping label to return the 7's, but changed my mind from UPS to USPS after I had already printed the UPS label. No problem! Just went back and chose USPS and printed that one. My credit card showed the merchant credit within a week. I really can't say enough about the customer service here. Absolutely the best!

Man's best friend. These Birks are great. I had some knock-offs for the last two summers previous, and the difference is just incredible. These have already molded to my feet perfectly in less than a month. Fantastic look, fantastic feel, excellent buy.

Love this sandal! It would have taken maybe 2 minutes for me to forget I even had shoes on, except I kept looking down to admire them. Birkenstocks are pricey compared to some other brands, but you truly get what you pay for. As far as shopping at Zappos, I recommend it to all my friends who mention the word "shoe" in a sentence. Can't beat the service!

Always a wonderful shoe - Birkenstocks have always been great shoes. Funky but comfy. Toe surgery inspired this purchase, and I haven't worn any other shoes since. There was another site that had these shoes for less; Zappos did their price protection as promised. And, they were so nice about it! Wow! I'm impressed. This company honors what they advertise. The customer service is better than I have seen any where else, Internet or brick and mortar.

Rock solid Birkenstocks - This is my third pair of Birkenstocks. I averaged 5 years each on my first two pairs. I'm rough on shoes and love my sandals. They are worn regularly and carry a lot of weight. The local Birkenstock store only had the narrow width in a 48, so I turned to Zappos. As usual they have what I need in the size that fits me. With the great shipping special, I got my shoes next day!

The perfect sandal - Birkenstock sandals are comfortable. We found the suggested US size to be larger than one would normally wear. It was necessary to buy 2 sizes smaller that the stated size. Zappos is the greatest. Orders are shipped immediately and the return policy is so easy.

My father - He loved these shoes. I have bought him 2 pairs over the last 5yrs. He says they are just too comfortable.

Help with sore feet - These sandals have helped this senior be able to walk without (bone spur) pain. Better than the prescription orthotics. It is cold now but just add socks. Took awhile to mold to my foot; at first I didn't think I would like them. Now they are what I put on almost everyday. They may be for the young, but I love them too.

Love my Birkenstocks - I have worn Birkenstocks for over 9 years and they are the first thing I put on in the morning and wear them every minute I am at home. They have really helped my feet and back. Zappos give such great service. I will always try them for shoes.

Birkenstocks always comfortable - I have never had problems with Birkenstocks fitting properly as long as the size is correct. Plus, my favorites are the suede (not because they are more durable, because as long as the suede and cork is water proofed, they are more durable). But because they are more comfortable. Additionally, Birks mold to your feet, unlike other brands, so it's like walking with support and walking with comfort. I've had so many foot problems lately, that it's nice to know that I can always return to Birks and know that they, like a good friend, always work with me. I just wish the company made a dressier shoe, so I wouldn't ever have to put up with the pain of "more" fashionable shoes again for those special occasions.

Year Round Favorites - I wear this shoe year round. I hope they never change it. It is great to be able to find them easily and not have to shop around. The most comfortable shoe ever!

The best shoe I've found for my very problematic feet! I have to deal with very wide feet, arches that are slowly falling, twisted toes, humpy toes, and a bunion on my left foot - finding anything for my feet that's truly comfortable for more than five minutes is extremely difficult. From the first try-on of Arizona my feet were happy - they wanted to dance! I can comfortably wear them all day - and I do. My feet don't hurt so much anymore, and my knees feel better too. I will definitely be checking out other Birkenstocks.

Too comfortable - I have been wearing Birkenstocks for 20 years and find them to be the most comfortable shoes. They are great for people who spend a lot of time on their feet.
