I would have ordered a 37 if I hadn't had an opportunity to try them on. As a result I ordered a 35M. I will order them in a 35N next time.

I've worn a size 11 since 5th grade, have flat feet, and have a heel spur. Walking long distances has been a problem. I was delighted to have such a variety of Birkenstocks to choose from on your website. Your prices are fantastic and the service is impeccable. The Birkenstock Arizona is a "must have" for anyone with problem feet. Once you wear them you'll be amazed at how good you feel.

I love my Birks! :) These are without a doubt my favorite shoes. They are extremely comfortable, though you must wear them in before they truly fit to your feet. I went to the Birkenstock store to get fitted before purchasing mine, but the European to American sizing conversions provided on Zappos seemed accurate. Not to mention, free and very fast shipping! I have been wearing the same pair nearly every day for a little over a year now, and it is a joy to step into these baby's in the morning. I wear them in the winter too! Consider investing in some cork sealant and footbed cleaner, as these products will prolong life and just make your shoes more enjoyable to wear. These shoes are worth every penny.

Best shoes ever! This is my 2nd pair of Arizona, and previous one lasted 5 years before I had to throw them out. They are so comfortable and good for your feet that I never want to take them off my feet. I have several other Birkenstock models which are comfortable as well but Arizona rocks. They do run a little big and wide so you should try them on before you purchase.

Excellent - These are the best shoes on the market. I wear them constantly. I live in my Birkenstocks! Whenever I am not at work or school I am wearing my Birks. These shoes wear like iron and are the most comfortable shoes ever. There's no feeling in the world like a broken in pair of Birkenstocks. I wear them constantly all summer, and inside and on dry days in the winter. Recommended, a true classic. My girlfriend has a pair also, and we both love the comfort and styling

My own Birkenstocks! I finally got around to buying a pair of Birkenstock sandals, after discovering them from my uncle who lives in Germany. I've heard a great deal about how well these sandals fit and how durable they are. Well once I tried them on it was exactly as advertised. I love the arch and the molded foot bed, fits my feet snug and holds it there. Compared to other knockoffs, these are softer and more comfortable. At first I was planning to get the synthetic upper, but after trying them on they didn't feel as good as the leather, which I ended up buying. The leather is almost twice the price, but I hope it lasts twice as long. All in all I love my Birkies for the comfort and style, and hope to be wearing them many years down the road.

Great all around sandal - Fabulous sandal - very comfortable and takes a very short time to mold to your foot. Note size tends to run larger, so you will have to size down. Regular width perfect for my C width (not avg. B or wide D). Not the most stylish look, but who cares when your feet are so comfortable.

Taupe Birks - After 6 months of Plantar Fasciitis, I started wearing my 16 year old Birks and wore them out in 3 months. Came to Zappos to replace them because of excellent service. Although I wear a 7 or 7-1/2 shoes and an 8 athletic shoe, I got a 37 Narrow and it is perfect. They run large.

Taupe Birkenstocks - These shoes are absolutely wonderful--comfy, stylish and durable.

Perfect Comfort - It's the only sandal I wear. It molds perfectly to my feet. I actually feel they are healing too as well.

I bought a pair in April and wear them a lot since winter is here i wear them with socks around the house. the only thing i don't like about my pair is that the straps don't flop down like everyone else's when i first got them it cut my foot because it was to stiff. now they don't bother me even tho they are a size2 big.i have another pair of Birkenstocks that are really comfortable 2. also try Clarks.

Awesome- Birkenstock Arizona sandals are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Definitely worth the money! Though, the only complaint that I'd have is that I've had my sandals since June 2005 and now here in October 2005 they're very worn.

These are great - I wore the same style for the past 4 years, including 8 months trekking all over a very soggy UK, and they finally wore out. New ones are as wonderful as the old ones!

Lasts forever!!! I bought this same exact shoe for my mom 10 years ago. She is still wearing them every day, but they are finally not nice enough to wear out and about. This is the second pair and they are just exactly the same. A great shoe. I do wish you could carry the soft footbed in this style.

As Always - Have been wearing Birkenstock Arizonas for many years. This is my third pair in this style, and my absolute favorite year-round sandal - with socks inside here in Virginia during the colder winter months. The minute I slide my feet into them, it is the same as the pair I have just finished wearing out, which by the way, I have been wearing for fifteen years! I do not throw the old ones out. For some crazy reason, I hold on to them. I am a retired teacher and plan on wearing this great shoe until I leave this Earth or take them with me if I can. I can't imagine being any place without them.

It feels like they got butta inside- I have to say, at first these things kinda hurt. But after about three days of non stop wearing they feel so good! I have Morton's Toe and these support my feet in the right places and help to improve my slouching tendancies. It feels so good to dig my heels in and stretch towards the sky. I swear alot of people wouldn't be so grouchy if they had these.

Such great shoes. Took a while to wear in .. in order to not get blisters.

COMFORT!! I have had some trouble with heel spurs and this sandal has helped with the heel pain. I did have to order a smaller size as the 40 was just too big. The 39 was just fine.

These sandals RULE! There is no sandal more comfortable, durable or practical! This is the reason Birkenstock has been around so long and appeals to all audiences!

Heaven in a Shoe - Birks are worth the money. I've bought 4 pairs of Birks (and many pairs of cheap fakes). By far the Birks outlast and outperform the fakes. They take a while to break in... and definitely invest in the footbed cleaner. On this shoe: the upper strap digs a little into my ankle (it goes up that high on my foot; and while I asked for narrow, it seems wider than the pair of papillos that I have in size narrow. I like loose sandals though, so it works for me. I like the look of the oiled leather... definitely refines the laid back look of the Birks.
