I've had to punch two more holes into each strap and still these things fall off my feet, especially when I'm climbing or descending stairs. I wish I had bought the Milanos, which have a back strap. These stay on a little better if I'm wearing socks, but I rarely wear socks and sandals. Plus, it is clear Birkenstocks are not as well made as they once were. Overall, a waste of $130.

My husband has been buying Birkenstock Arizona sandals since the late 1970s, and has never been disappointed with them ... until now. The foot bed is smaller and narrower, and one of the sandals had a ridge of hard glue visible (photo). Sadly, I am returning.

These Birkenstocks came thrown into a bag. No box. No tags. Just a plastic bag. They were clearly tried on by someone else. What the heck, Zappos?! Are they used? Are they even real Birks?

I should have waited for the right width to come back in stock. My little toes hang over the sides.

I ordered the sandle in wide--illustration had an open footprint--I received a sandle with a solid footprint (narrow)--I would like to exchange the item received for the wide as I had ordered!

Idiots sent me the WRONG COLOR AND WRONG SIZE.

I didn't like the fit, and there is a stain, on the inside of the right shoe. I know these are popular, but obviously not for me.

Um Im pretty upset I just payed top dollar for brand new birkenstocks and they come like this SMH

I am very disappointed. The item arrived in regular width and I ordered narrow. Also, it is a soft footbed when I ordered an original footbed. The images and description did not match what I received.

The left shoe is significantly larger than the right shoe. I will have to return. I'm bummed because I really wanted to love this shoe. The suede straps seem like they would be really comfortable.

The straps stretched and now are too loose. My foot slips out and straps twist when I put my foot in sandal. I have owned Birks for many years and this is the worst fit.

Too big not comfortable, I’m disappointed ?

I ordered a 43 Regular. Zappos sent me a 41 Narrow and then told me my shoe was out of stock.

You tell me, they sent me a size 7 ? I ordered what I wear, Size 15 ?

I bought these as a gift and they ran way too big.

Shoe itself was good but one of the buckle was broken and I had to return them

It cut into my daughter’s foot. Painful.

I recently had a family members dog chew my birks up. :( I have had these for 14 years. I saw that on the inside they are marked a 37 L for ladies. Now they are unisex. Well.... the straps even on the tightest hole are way to big for my foot, plus the foot bed is bigger. This is sad since my old pair is a 37 and so is the new pair I bought. I think if it wasn't unisex the straps wouldn't have been so long or wide. I have to return these. UGH!!!

I may be the only one in the entire World to absolutely hate these sandals. I did get the perfect size and width, at a size down from my base size, but the straps don't fasten tight enough. The suede material, while very comfortable, have too much stretch and provides a very loose fit. Walking in these were a nightmare. Very stiff and my feet kept slipping out while using my normal walking gait. Going downhill saw my toes crammed against the front lip. Not good. They stayed on when I "stomped" my feet up and down, but who walks like that? Limited to home use only. These sandals are great for when you're just sitting down, standing still, or walking from room to room. Vastly outperformed by sandals costing much less with much lower quality construction and materials. I am simply astonished at all the positive reviews. What a major disappointment! Thank goodness for Zappos' return policy!

These are not truly slide-in sandals as the straps are slack and therefore you must use at least one hand to put them on, to lift the straps, one at a time, while you slide your foot in. Also, even at the tightest setting I find the straps are slack and my feet slip out. Nor do I find the supposedly form-fitting footpad comfortable at all. It's actually rather uncomfortable and annoying.
