Birkenstock Arizona - Shoe itself is a great product. Go about a size down then normal. Overal satisfied with purchase.

Ugly but Comfy - Like most all birk's, these won't win you any fashion contests. Probably the ugliest of the 70 some pairs of shoes I own. Once broken in, they'll rank right at the top in comfort, though... Don't expect comfort right off, as they'll be too stiff...Give it a month or so of regular wear...

Sandals at last - Due to fallen arches and heel spurs I must wear orthotics and very supportive foot gear. I was told not to wear sandals imagine my delight when my birkenstocks offered me the freedom of sandals. Break in time was less than two days. I did order a smaller size and width which fit perfectly I will be ordering more in the future. I do wish the plastic birkenstocks came in half sizes.

The platform of the shoe was a fine fit and it felt good. The overlay straps, the ones that hold the show on and are adjustable would not adjust small enough to fit my foot. They needed one more hole punch to make it. Thus, the shoe could not be adjusted to fit and I returned them.

all too big

I'm surprised to find the sole wearing out, tread gone, after just 1 year of intermittent wearing; my previous Birkies lasted a decade, This Narrow fit well my Regular foot, forcing my foot high on the arch - which is exactly what I need (when not wearing my orthotics) to supress my plantar fasciitis.

The width across the arch is very narrow

My whole body aches after wearing these around town. They feel comfortable, but don't offer enough shock absorption. Love the look! Wish they made something similar with a thicker sole.

The problem with the shoe is , I have long toes and the way the shoe is shaped my toes hang off the side of shoe when I walk in them.

One foot fits but the other too small

I have over 30 Birkenstocks all size 38. The new sizing is way off the old one. They run a complete size smaller.

Shoe looks beautiful but the arch was reeeally high which made it very uncomfortable for my feet. Can hardly stand in them. Had to return.

I am a female, normal size shoe is 10. If it is a dress shoe I need a 10 wide. These 10 regulars were SO WIDE my foot wouldn’t even stay in the sandal. There were not even enough holes to make it tighter. I returned them and ordered the 10 narrow. They fit perfectly! I hope this helps the girls out there trying to find the correct size. ?

Birkenstocks have been my go-to for over 40 years. IMHO, these sandals are mismarked. When held up to my other sandals, the bottoms were at least a quarter of an inch narrower than my old ones.

I'm so sad, I really wanted to like these! The width of the straps were too wide and made my feet look like Flintstone feet. They are very well made, I jjst wish a little bit more feminine.

These were the weirdest disappointment for me. I got 38 wide, which is really not wide at all but more like average foot size. My feet sat perfectly in the footbeds (5'5, 120 pounds, female, normal feet for an athlete) but the straps were bizarrely long. Even on the tightest notch, there was so much room between my foot and the straps that I couldn't walk normally in them and my feet would slide up over the front while the excessive strap material flopped out to the side. It's like they expect people to have a massively high instep and make the straps accordingly, which is ok I guess, except these were so long it was almost funny. I thought about taking them to a cobbler to see if he could work with the straps, but after paying so much for the sandals, I decided to return them instead of spending more money to try to fix them. I have the same exact sandals with oiled leather straps, and they fit perfectly. I don't know if these were made in error or if the suede straps are always super long, but I returned them and won't order suede again.

Had to return due to ordering the wrong size (too big) however, customer service was amazing! Love Zappos!

Because suede by nature is soft it is impossible to slip into the shoe. You are forced to bend over and hold the straps up while slipping your foot into the sandal. If, like me, you want a slip-on you can slip into while standing I would not recommend this sandal.

I usually wear size 10, these were way too big and wide even for my wide feet. Returned.

After a week of daily wear, these shoes still need breaking in. Until the footbed forms to your foot the straps rub your toes. They are just now starting to become somewhat comfortable. They are very pretty shoes. They look just like the picture and are narrow, but the footbed is truly firm.

I've tightened these to the smallest link and they just keep feeling looser and looser. Now, the strap is over the side of the shoe. too loose and I normally wear a larger shoe. My daughter has these same shoes and her are great. These seem different.

I have very narrow feet and the narrow width was still a bit too wide for my foot.
