great shoes. i wear them all around campus at the university that i attend and my feet don’t ever seem to get tired. One thing is, which would probably happen with any other sandals, if you bend your feet all the way back while crouching down it can realllly stretch the bands. Avoid that and theyll stay pretty perfect

The shoes arrived and the color is really great. The shoes also arrived already buckled for someone else's feet and felt stretched out, they were already on the tightest adjustment and still too big. These go back. :(

The left sandal buckle was uncomfortable on me foot, returning but buying another pair to hopefully have better luck.

I ended up needing the regular width.

I love these and am a Birkenstock fan. I own multiple pairs, but these were the first unisex pair I’ve bought. I don’t know if it’s the overly stretched suede, or them being unisex, but they are too wide for me. From the first time I wore them I had them on almost the last notch in the buckle, and they are now on the last notch. I would never have considered ordering a narrow, I wear and 8W in women’s shoes, a 38 in Birks, but if I were to buy these again I’d go with a 39 narrow just to try it. I like the style, but I’ll stick to women’s Birkenstocks going forward. I also prefer a toe strap (like the Gizeh) and walking in these has taken some adjusting.

I had the taupe suede with the soft foot bed and the color was a little greyer and the fabric stiffer. I ordered this one for my daughter and it is more beige and the fabric was rough suede and flimsy. Not sure why the color and fabric is so different. Not sure if it is every shoe is different or if the fabric on the soft foot bed is nicer? So I am returning and ordering the soft foot bed in taupe suede hoping the fabric is the same as my pair. Also I wear a 7-7.5 and the 37 fits great. So these run a full size bigger. I have a normal width foot and the narrow was perfect.

Pros: The suede is very comfortable. The buckles are hefty. The sole molds to my feet. The shoe feels sturdy and well made. Cons: Recognizing that this is my oversight, the lack of a back buckle means that my heel has no support. That keeps me from wanting to wear these regularly.

To start, I normally wear between a 7-8, but the 38 is too large. 37 first perfectly. However, I am returning these sandals because of the color. It is much darker and less attractive than what is pictured. Sad because they are terribly comfortable.

Very comfortable shoes for driving a car if you have a bunion. I found other shoes were painful; this one gives me great relief for driving and indoor walking.

These are super comfy. Not cute but can work their way into not looking horrific if worn with the right outfit. I have bad feet and these sandals love and comfort my feet! My feet are a little on the wide side and these are just right for width however, as I have worn them the leather stretches out a bit and now they feel a little loose and I have them on the last notch. I almost feel like I have to grip my toes to make the shoes feel like they wont slip off while I am walking.

Love these shoes, they are a little wide and maybe would of got the Narrow size , but they still fit me good ,and feel comfy. Great purchase:)

I'm a size 7.5 so I sized down to a 37 which is supposed to be a 6.5-7. The sandal is still very loose even though it's on the tightest hole on the suede. Also the taupe is more khaki, I was hoping for the light pretty beige displayed on Zappos website. The length is good and the bed is very comfortable and soft, because I purchased the soft bed instead of the original footbed.

These have Birkenstock's excellent quality, but the black dye from the straps still comes off on my feet after 7 months of wear. It washes off but is really annoying. If they do something about this, these would be perfect shoes. Very comfortable and great support.

Birks - I really love the look of these shoes, and the fact that Zappos shipped my order so fast! The craftsmanship is fabulous. If you are in need of arch support, this shoe has it! I don't recommend walking miles in these, but they're great for everyday wear. I was disappointed in the sizing; I usually measure as a 9 or 9.5, but I'm an 8-8.5 [women's] in these shoes. I almost returned them because they are still too big on me; unfortunately, I wore them outside before I could do so. Besides the sizing, these are great shoes! Make sure you order a size smaller than you think.

Nice but a little hard on your bare feet - Great shoe . . . have always wanted a pair since I saw them in college in the 70's. However, these do not have the cushioned innersole and are a little hard on your feet after 10-12 hours of wear. Also, had to add one extra hole in the straps to get a snug fit so I would not walk out of the shoe while walking.

So far so good... It fits a little loose, but I have yet to have a blister. They are comfortable and seem durable too. Just make sure to order one size smaller than you think...

You have to let them comform to your feet. This is my second pair of these, and my first lasted 4 years. I have flat feet so I have to let the sandal comform to my feet. When they do they are real comfortable.

What can one say, Birkenstocks are the way to go. They are always so comfortable. This is a replacement pair, because I had worn the sole off my other pair. I love them. I wear them all the time, summer and winter.

Birkenstocks seem to get larger and larger. First time ever that I went down to a 42 from my usual 43-44. And I also had to exchange regular width for narrow--I expect most people would find Birkenstock's "narrow" more than wide enough.

This is my first pair of birkenstocks and I love them. They run wide and as a result I needed to exchange my regulars for narrows. They definitely need to be broken in before wearing for long periods of time. But overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.

My feet are happy - This is the second pair of Birks I've owned. The last pair lasted over five years and were pretty rough. These are even more comfortable. The narrow size is key for people with a narrower foot, like me (not available last time I bought). I definitely would recommend for anybody looking for a comfortable sandal that will last a long time.

Excellent Service! I decided one afternoon to try my first pair of Birkenstock's. Had heard about them from friends who had been wearing them for years. I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit because my feet or so thin. I took the advice of several others who had ordered from Zappos and ordered a size smaller than it indicated I should order. Guess what! I got the shoes the NEXT morning and they were a perfect fit. I am breaking them in now and believe I will really like them. Thank you!

Ordered narrow never got it... Having a narrow foot I was excited to see the Arizona Birkenstock came in narrow...after two returns I finally just kept the last pair...it still said medium on the box but it was a tad narrower than the first 2 pair I was sent...r.white
