Beware of the squeaking Danskos! I have now owned two pairs of Danskos that started to squeak so loud that you could hear me walking throughout the entire hospital. If you Google "Dansko squeak" you will find multiple blogs discussing this topic. Apparently they outsourced production several years ago and have had this problem ever since. The parent company, Sanita, still makes the shoes and do not appear to have this problem. Zappos actually accepted my Danskos as a return because of this issue and I have bought Sanita instead. They look almost exactly the same and are similarly priced. Thank you, Zappos, for standing by your products!

Second time returning. I wear a size 8 shoe. 39's were way too big, couldn't walk. 38's were way too small - couldn't even squeeze my foot in them. Giving up, picking another shoe.

I bought these shoes because I needed comfortable black work shoes. They are so uncomfortable and they are ugly. I was willing to sacrifice style for comfort but these lack both.

Hate this shoe. If you have a high instep it is extremely uncomfortable. I rubbed the fingernail polish off my big toe and caused a bruise on the top of my foot. Bought it because it was supposed to be comfortable but it was not! Also, the European sizing is problematic. This shoe is a hair too big and the smaller shoe is hair too small. Absolutely hated this shoe.

I love these shoes, except for the fact that the left shoe has always made an annoying squeaking sound when I walk on any floor surface. I don't have this problem with any of my other pairs of Danskos. Also the design is peeling off. I have the pink Danskos with the pink ribbon on the side and I do not have these problem with that pair. I love how the shoe would look, but I can never wear them because I walk all day and I get on my own nerves I can imagine how others feel.

I bought these shoes thinking they would be stylish, give me a little height and be good for my feet since I noticed that many nurses wore them. After about a month of daily wear I developed painful plantar fasciitis. When I told that to my nurse friend, she said she had also developed foot pain. Thinking that although these shoes are very cute and feel comfy, they do not have enough arch support for many people. Beware!

I consistently wear a UK 8 shoe and a US 10. I ordered a size 41 (theoretically a half size larger than I would need) and it was way too small. I'll stick with brands whose sizes are based on some standard in the future.

This is my second pair of Dansko and I must say I am extremely disappointed in the quality. I am a nurse and work 12-16 hour shifts 4-5 days a week. My first pair lasted 5 years. This pair lasted 6 months before falling apart. They took a long time to break in as well.

I used to absolutely love Dansko shoes and swore by them; but my experience the past several times of buying them have been such a disappointment. They are being made smaller, I used to always wear a size 6 (36) no problems ever. Then they made their changes so I thought well I'll try a 7 (37) still wrong. Such a shame because Dankso was once a great shoe, now I can't wear them.

I really wanted to like these shoes, but hated them. They just don't fit me well - really hurt the top of my foot a lot. Size 39 was way too small but 40 was huge. They look a bit clownish too. Just not for me.

Very uncomfortable. I ordered a size larger as suggested,toes still against toe area and top of toe area.

I've worn Dansko shoes for years with no complaints. The last two pairs have squeaked with every step. I can no longer recommend these shoes to my friends and co-workers.

I bought these in the plain navy. I have barely worn them because they are so incredibly hard that I cannot stand to wear them. I am a RN and am on my feet for 12-13 hr days. When I insert some padded arch supports my foot is raised so high that the top of the shoes rubs on the top of my foot. This is a very expensive mistake. I could not tell this problem existed until I wore them for a period of time. I will NEVER buy Dansko again

Squeaky! I had to quit wearing these - people could hear me coming from a long way away. Dansko couldn't tell me why they squeaked, just that it's a "known problem with some of the shoes." What a waste of money my pair was.

These are the most uncomfortable shoe I have ever owned. I will never buy another pair of Dansko Shoes. I made the mistake of buying a pair at a Local Store in Port Angeles in Washington. and never wore them outside but the owner refused to take them back. He offered a in store credit. That would have been great but they had nothing there that I wanted. I should have been able to get my money back. Anyways Dansko took the shoes back with an exception of having it done as an exchange. I was told to pick 3 styles. Not knowing anything about them I picked 3 styles. This was my 3rd option and it's what I got. These shoes are very heavy. 2 lbs each. They are horrible if you stand all day. I will never buy Dansko shoes. I do have to give them credit for trying to help me though.

Let me tell you - I read all the reviews, and was convinced by all the positive comments that these would be amazingly comfortable....WRONG ! These clogs KILL MY FEET so badly - I cannot wait to rip them off. They actually are creating such pain all over the sole of my foot.

While these shoes give great arch support, it is incredibly easy for your ankle to twist outwards while wearing them. I haven\'t had that happen in other shoes without ankle support, so it appears to be due to the shoe itself. I actually fell on my face and broke my teeth (since fixed) due to this phenomenon.

I bought these expensive shoes for my sensitive feet. These shoes are not comfortable at all. They are also too wide. When I walked it felt like they were going to slip out.
