I bought these shoes after high recommendations from friends who have also suffered from plantar fascia. I find that they do good support and they are relieving on my legs and back. They are tight across the top of my right foot however, and after a few hours, I have to take them off to relieve my feet. I'm still getting used to them. I bought size 41 (10.5-11) and usually buy size 10 shoes.

They look like Elton John shoes. I am very tall, and they made me even taller. Not very comfortable either.

I saw these shoes at my orthopedics office and thought this type of shoe would be ideal. I broke cartilage in my left ankle 3 years ago, had two ankle surgeries, one being a ligament reconstruction. So wearing walking tennis shoes and Crocs have been my only options because of the pain. I now have a fusion in my ankle and based on customer reviews on comfort, I bought a pair. Initially the foot bed and the design were comfortable. But when wearing all day the shoes start to feel very heavy and my ankle tends to swell and become painful. So I have stopped wearing them. In addition, my foot measured a size 9.5, So I ordered a size 10. The shoe felt small and toes were hitting the front on the shoe. Called Zappos for a size bigger (size 11 which I think is a size 41) and they shipped out immediately (thank you Zappos); however, again, these shoes feel bulky and heavy and found myself tripping over my own feet. I guess it takes time getting used to but unfortunately I can't wear them enough to overcome this issue.

Looked good, felt good but the heel seemed too shallow. My heel popped out as I walked.

I found the sizing hard to fit my feet. They don't seem quite as comfortable as everyone recommended so far.

Love Dansko clogs, but not this particular pattern, Tiger's Eye-Onyx. Pattern is cute, but, I received two different-looking clogs. So different that I had to return them. One had lots of white while the other had no white at all. If you get these, find a store to purchase from so you can be sure to get clogs with matching patterns.

I love the look of these shoes and the oil-brown is just gorgeous, but these shoes are super heavy! And, the pair I ordered are huge on my feet.

Second pair of these I have had and will not order again. The toe color rubs off I returned the first pair (thank you Zappos) but they just did it again. I have 2 other pairs if these and I love them. This style just isn't so great.

I would no recommend buying these shoes for several reasons that I have listed below. I don't know if my feet just happen to be so weird that these shoes don't work for me or what. So, first off, I wear these shoes every other day in conjunction with my 4 year old Suregrips. I originally bought these because my 2nd pair of shoes were torn apart (1 year old Shoes for Crews) and wearing my Suregrips pair every day hurt a lot. I work in a kitchen as a chef and I work 10+ hour days 5-6 days a week. I also have extremely tiny feet so size 5.5 in womens and I don't weigh very much either (not sure if this will have anything to do with it but might as well put it out there). I can't get traction with these shoes. I'm often sliding around corners -- wet and dry tile. No gunk on the bottom...I don't understand how these are labeled "nonslip" because today I actually slipped and fell while helping a coworker lift something. I never slip and slide with my Suregrips. I'm also an ex-figure skater so I don't ever slip and fall in any shoes on practically any surface. My feet hurt like hell the days I wear these and my feet don't hurt at all on the days where I wear my Suregrips. Another thing is, these shoes are too dang tall! My ankles often give out randomly like I've been wearing 6" high heels all day.

I found these clogs to be very heavy and uncomfortable. They look nice and are perfect for business-casual attire. However, standing for hours and walking around a classroom all day requires a much lighter, more flexible, comfortable fitting shoe. These Danskos did not meet my needs at all.

I have worn this exact Dansko in the same size for many years now. And many pairs. This one was very wide. Should not be marked "Regular Width."

This negative review is specifically about the patent leather finish. I've been wearing Dansko professional clogs for years, and will continue to do so. I work in restaurants and they are by far the best shoes I've found to reduce strain on my feet, legs and back, and the slip resistance is great. The patent leather on my shoes cracked a few weeks after I bought them. The cracks were right above where my toes flex. The rough edges caused blisters and bleeding on the tops of my toes. I know of two other female chefs who have bought and then either returned or thrown away these shoes for the same reason. I'm going back to ordering the box leather.

I bought these shoes because everyone gave such awesome feedback about them, however I was greatly disappointed. These shoes curve up at the toes which makes for an awkward fit. It seems like my toes were always hitting the top of the shoe when I walked. I even bought one size up in wide width which didn't help the problem. Instead, my feet kept falling out of the clog as I walked and my toes were somehow still hitting the front of the shoe! Needless to say, these clogs were returned.

As always, WarpSpeed Shipping! Thanks Zappos! Leather upper is too tight. Dansko should have wider options for people with thick ankles and wide toe ends. I don't think breaking these in will do the trick. Will check out other brands.

I loved the fit. But be aware if they get any water splashed on them the finish will be ruined. I did not know that gently dabbing off some water from a sprinkler would wipe off the bunished darker color so now they are ruined. They are not safe to wear if they get any water on them. there was no warning of this when i bought them. I am going to contact Dansko and ask about this problem.

I ordered the professional wide in a 38 and was very disappointed. I have owned Danskos before and tried the wide in a store previously, but what came in the mail felt narrow like the regular width. Given my previous success with Danskos, I was disappointed and would not recommend them.

I have been wearing Danskos for over 12 years and have never had a problem until now. The sizing is different, the toe box looks weird and they made my foot numb in the arch of the right foot - sad day that an old faithful has passed.

Over the last 5 years, I have purchased several Dansko shoes. I have four pair of Danskos and three I just love. But I'm very unhappy about the brown Dansko Professionals I have worn them a handful of times. The shoes have become so scuffed up on the tip by the toes, that I'm embarrassed to wear them now. Where they are scuffed is a totally different color than the rest of the shoe. I've tried everything I know to make them look good.

I am done with Dansko. I've worn Dansko for years but no more. I have a high instep and whereas in the past I wore a size 42 medium width, I can't anymore. I ordered a 42 wide and I couldn't even get it on. I swear they used to be wider.

For the price, I expected these shoes to be much more comfortable and much more slip resistant (as stated in the description). I wore them to work, where I was on my feet for more than 10 hours a day at times, and I was highly disappointed in the promised comfort. I'm sticking with the cheaper, more slip resistant shoes.

I bought these shoes for work. I work a twelve hour shift on my feet, and have always heard great reviews from co-workers about the Dansko brand. I am a woman and have extra wide feet, but figured that since the shoe was marketed for both men and women, ordering the a half size bigger and in wide would suffice. I was disappointed to find that the shoe was simply too narrow for my feet, and so I had to return them.

This shoe is very comfortable and easy to keep, not failing to mention that they're easy to get on and off. A great advantage. I don't need to go into the other qualities, because there are many, for others have done that. What I don't see is where anyone comments about the patent leather. The patent leather must not be of high quality. Where it attaches the sole it is bubbling up about an inch on both sides. It's not as smooth as the upper. I'll monitor the reviews to see if anyone else has similar issues.

I am on my feet 8 to 9 hour at work. With these shoes my feet are not happy at the end of the day. I would never buy them again. I have bought Dansko sandals and are very happy with them.

I put these shoes on for 15 minutes and walked around the house and both feet began to cramp. The arch may be too big for some. I do not have flat feet and normally can wear any type of shoes. But these shoes are extremely uncomfortable and may need to be sent back.
